Saw it in the early 80s. Visually it was more accessible them. Now you have to walk up & down inclines - rolling hills landscaping. It's right next to the Mississippi River, so you get the added bonus of seeing life on that powerful river pass you by.

What can I say that everyone else hasn t already said. Such an amazing structure and with wonderful views of the city. I m not crazy about the whole little video you have to watch before the typical green screen photo op (Why?) and the way they cram people into the little trams. I get that you need ...

Great place too go for a trip, whether your going for fun by yourself or taking the whole family. Always a good time and beautiful place too just stop and take it all in... wonder how awesome it was when Lewis & Clark first laid there eyes on that 1 spot.

Was a unique experience. The trams to ride up the are small but it was only a couple minutes. It was cloudy so we couldn't see as far as you normally would but you could still see a lot. I wouldn't recommend going if it was really foggy.

The Arch's amazing interactive museum imursed my family in rich history for free. The park was clean and featured a great greenspace to honor the city's humble beginning. The arch is a wonderful architectural feat that is definitely worth your time!

One of the United States' most iconic landmarks, The Gateway Arch is an impressive piece of engineering. The grounds around it have changed a lot over the years, and it is probably the best it has ever looked. Overlooking the Mississippi River, it is a beautiful scene.

One of my very favorite monuments. The lines of the arch are just gorgeous. I don t need to go up to the top each time I m in St Louis but I do need to go to it and lay hands on it. The new museum is beautiful, chock full of info and free!

This was decent. If you're looking for an awe-inspiring experience, you may want to back down your expectations. They have an interesting timeline-museum. I heard that the "making of" movie was very good (I didn't watch it). The process to get into the main part of the arch building is the same ...

This place is great! It has been upgraded since the last time I came. It has a very in depth museum now as well. There is a new central entrance that is done up very nicely. I still think the Willy Wonka type sideways elevators are fun, even if they are a little cramped. The view from the top can't ...

The museum has been updated recently, but as someone who loves historical accuracy, I thought it was sort of a let down after all the excitement to see the new museum. It felt very small in the museum and had too many screens and games for my liking, however it did have a few interesting artifacts, ...

Awesome bit of engineering! I loved the video, and that was a great group of people with forethought, taking video of all the little things that went into the design and building of this monstrosity.

I enjoyed the displays and museum below. It is a great showcase to the city of St. Louis and it's...

The gateway arch was really fun to visit. You can pay $13 for an adult to go to the top. As a part of that they have a 20-30 min documentary on the building of the arch. It was very informative and neat to learn about. You ride up to the top of the arch in this tiny car with 5 seats. Luckily it wasn...

There is more to see than just the arch itself. The underground museum is great. They take you back in time when America was just expanding to the west. And how are young nation lived back then. If you are not afraid of heights, take the climb when its windy and you will see the top of the arc swing as you make your way up and are on the top of the arc. Its a little scary and interesting shake underneath your feet. If on a calm day, they say the arc swings by a few inches which is super int...

Such an iconic statue! It is too bad it is not wheelchair accessible for the ride up to the top! The area around the base and looking up were spectacular! The river was flooded so no riverboat sailings while we were there - the lower road was covered with water!

This Arch is by far the best thing about St.Louis!! I saw it from every place I visited in St.Louis and ended up seeing it from every angle except from up top which can also be done via helicopter tour.

Just found out I was not a fan of these ribs nor that sauce. And it seems like every place in St. Louis serves chips instead of fries. That's a very cheap route especially when you pay so much for the food. My significant other said the pulled pork tasted alot better.

The park is pretty with lots of grass and walking paths. The museum tells the history of St. Louis and the story of the Gateway Arch. Tram rides sell out early, so check ahead if you want to go up into the arch. There is a cafe and shop, too.
