Saw it in the early 80s. Visually it was more accessible them. Now you have to walk up & down inclines - rolling hills landscaping. It's right next to the Mississippi River, so you get the added bonus of seeing life on that powerful river pass you by.

Great place too go for a trip, whether your going for fun by yourself or taking the whole family. Always a good time and beautiful place too just stop and take it all in... wonder how awesome it was when Lewis & Clark first laid there eyes on that 1 spot.
Great Monument after you go through security downstairs you can go to the history museum for free it does cost to ride up into the arch itself but it is worth it it's an amazing view
Was a unique experience. The trams to ride up the are small but it was only a couple minutes. It was cloudy so we couldn't see as far as you normally would but you could still see a lot. I wouldn't recommend going if it was really foggy.
Hadn't been here in more than 25yrs. The newly renovated museum and Arch grounds are beautiful! Fantastic experience with my almost 3yr old daughter! Wear comfy shoes as you will be doing a bit of walking
The Arch's amazing interactive museum imursed my family in rich history for free. The park was clean and featured a great greenspace to honor the city's humble beginning. The arch is a wonderful architectural feat that is definitely worth your time!
Such a fascinating experience. We got the combination package where we were able to watch the movie of how the monument was constructed then the ride to the top. Totally priceless experience
What a wonderful landmark that is operating with great precautions during this tough time (COVID). There was even a wonderful officer who helped us get the best picture possible by offering his help! The grounds were beautiful.

St. Louis from 630 feet up (192 m). It is the tallest man-made monument in the United States. It only takes 4 minutes to go up and 3 minutes down. I love how the tram car looks like a small spaceship pod.

Oh what fun this was to explore and learn about this monument and what an engineering marvel it is. Riding the quirky elevator up to the top is probably for most of us a once in a lifetime experience.
Must see in St Louis. Interesting museum at the bottom. The movie about how the arch was built is maybe even better than the tide to the top. Do reserve ahead if you plan to visit during holidays.

One of the United States' most iconic landmarks, The Gateway Arch is an impressive piece of engineering. The grounds around it have changed a lot over the years, and it is probably the best it has ever looked. Overlooking the Mississippi River, it is a beautiful scene.

Had a good experience. The rain had chased away most of the crowd and was able to just walk up and get tickets. The guide was great and my wife and I got great pictures from the everywhere

Went there the day before Easter, and the tram ride was free to go up in the Arch, but they were sold out. But we were able to see the new visitor center. It was really nice. I want to go back and go up in the Arch.
Just found out I was not a fan of these ribs nor that sauce. And it seems like every place in St. Louis serves chips instead of fries. That's a very cheap route especially when you pay so much for the food. My significant other said the pulled pork tasted alot better.

Kids had a great time and they were very accommodating for all persons wishing to ride to the top. Ordered e-tickets online 2 days prior which was very convenient. Went on a Sunday, so metered parking in the city was free just a couple short blocks from the Arch grounds.

The park is pretty with lots of grass and walking paths. The museum tells the history of St. Louis and the story of the Gateway Arch. Tram rides sell out early, so check ahead if you want to go up into the arch. There is a cafe and shop, too.

We got there right when it opened and we're in the first group to go up to the observation deck....the renovations/remodel is beautiful and the staff were awesome.
We had good time at the Arch and watching fireworks on 4th July. We will definitely do it again

Love the improvements to the area but finding the new entrance and parking is insane. We ended up paying $10 to park on the landing and walk miles to get to the arch. Thank God for the benches along the way.
First Visit since the new updates. The tram ride to the top is a must. Its just hard to get the concept of the Saint Louis Arch from the ground. Also Proud to say that I got to do my part on the foundation work about three years ago!

Great place to visit! Tram tour was awesome. Gift shop and restaurant were very nice as well. Most of the sights are inside so a good option on a chilly day. Also easy to find the stamp book and several stamps to collect here.
