Awesome bit of engineering! I loved the video, and that was a great group of people with forethought, taking video of all the little things that went into the design and building of this monstrosity.

I enjoyed the displays and museum below. It is a great showcase to the city of St. Louis and it's importance to the country's expansion west.

For others travelling, be mindful of any national site; if you go on a weekend there will be many more people. We came on a Monday morning and got the first tram and had a wonderful relaxed experience. Come on a Saturday in the summer and you'll be fighting crowds. That's just a "well DUH!" for you to remember.

My complaint is that there needs to be something done about the cell signal down inside. What good are e-tickets if I cannot get to them to check in? Either they need to get the signal down there (given current administration's determination to destroy all public things, that's unlikely), bring the check-in process upstairs (why do that when they just built), or get a better software option that links ticket via the confirmation number.
