Kids had a great time and they were very accommodating for all persons wishing to ride to the top. Ordered e-tickets online 2 days prior which was very convenient. Went on a Sunday, so metered parking in the city was free just a couple short blocks from the Arch grounds.

There was some water leakage underground (I'm assuming from the river water being so high - it's flood season in MO during the spring time) but the crew was suctioning it was quickly as they could.

The tram compartment ride to the top is cramped, but comfortable. I do not recommend sitting near the door if you get motion sick or are afraid of heights as the doors are see through. (Yes, I realize that people who are afraid of heights might not be going to the top of a structure that is over 600 ft tall, but there are those of us who do so despite their fears.)

The trams and area at the top are air conditioned so you shouldn't cook on warm summer days.

At the top, there are small windows positioned perfectly so you may see for several miles to the east and west. I suggest going on a cloudless day. Busch Stadium is visible, as is the Old Courthouse, the roof to Union Station, and much the city. There are several plaques with general information, if that's your thing.

You may stay as long as you like, taking pictures and walking around, but they may ask for people to leave so another group can come up if there are too many grouped at the top.
