This is the not-quite-finished new Holts/Ogilvy hybrid. I enjoy that it was attached to our hotel. The areas that were completed were very nice, aesthetically. Staff at Prada and Yurman were lovely. Staff at Chanel made me feel quite pressured and as I later found out from my SA, told me a lie regar...
The new shop is pleasant. Ladies from Chanel were consistently not friendly and couldn't be bothered (both three times that I went there since late last year) but Allen from Jo Malone was very helpful and accommodating. I would buy my Chanel toiletries and perfume online but would continue buying my...
Alex and Vincent from Fendi are absolutely amazing. Perfect service, SO friendly, shopping with them is so much fun. We bought something downstairs from Vincent. It was an amazing experience. We then went and browsed upstairs where Alex was working, she was so helpful and gave us the best service po...
The only thing I dislike about this store concerns employees who give you this look and judge you before actually helping you. I was going to buy something at The Tiffany counter but the clerk was just saying anything to make a sale. She was so unpleasant to deal with. Ended up ordering online from ...
Oh wow i just found out today when i visited that, all the men section of each designer has been transferred in the Ogilvy section which is a block or two from the Ritz. My major concern is the super high temperature inside the Ogilvy store. They crank up the heat so much it gets discouraging to s...
The new renovations rejuvenate the place that was much needed. Large expensive brands for ordinary people but for those who do not count, you'll find plenty of choices for spending the monthly salary of an average family.
Worst Cust Service Ever, This Place Won t Change Never. Went In Men s Winter Coats Section Where s Mackage Etc... I Did 2 Rounds & Doing Some Toutching, 3 Men s Sales Asso Speaking Together Near, No Hi No Hello Nothing.. I Mean I m Shopping for a 1200-1300$ Winter Coat Here.!! I Stayed About 10min i...
Lot's of shop in shop. Looks a bit outdated, felt like back in the eighties, not much is going on there besides showing old brands in the higher price range.
very limited menswear, staff extremely unprofessional, lack any sense of style ,lazy, they don't even have good taste in clothes. it's always empty;I wonder who manages this place !
Upscale shopping experience, harkens back to the quaint old style department store experience, but some floors lacking options or out of stock, especially in the men's department.
Such a disappointment! During a recent shopping trip their escalator malfunctioned and ripped a giant hole in my expensive coat. I was told not to worry, they would take care of it.
After several months the coat was returned damaged without even a note to say they were sorry for the incident. ...
Top luxury department store in Montreal. Great old school decor. An absolutely awesome travel back to the time where class and good taste were still in fashion. Did I mention LIVE bagpipes?
Great service that comes at a High price. I know, you get what you pay for, but c'mon, $275 for a men's dress shirt? At least it was tailored for free lol. No parking, unless your an Ogilvy member. This place is in constant renovations, kind of like the construction of city streets in Montreal.
The people at the Louis Vuitton department are very knowledgeable and helpful. As for the rest of the store you get the occasional flake who pretends to be nice to you just to get a sale but for the most part the staff is very respectful and pleasant.
I like this business that offers exclusive brands. However, I can not understand why unilingual Anglophone employees are still hired. And I'm not talking about older salespeople who were engaged in another era, I'm talking about young employees. Clearly, the employee Creed booth, unilingual anglopho...
Nice and quiet. Can just grab what you want and try it on in a nice changing booth. Workers are nice. Lots of brands and clothes to pick from as long as you're filthy rich.
As per usual with these kind of stores, Ogilvy is overpriced, has poor selection and snobby snooty self important Sales Associates who look down on you unless you are a rich white middle aged woman clad in Hermes from head to toe. Skip!
Ogilvy men. I am a regular buyer for several years. Since Holt Renfrew bought Ogilvy, the new staff / new faces at Ogilvy man look rude, unmotivated, customer service that pitiful! they spend their time watching you as an extraterrestrial and they talk to each other as if the customers did not exist...
Saw someone s positive review as ...number of staff is almost greater than customers.... Ummm sorry, there is a reason for that and it s not positive (think about it). It gets 2 stars. One for its convenient location, and one for some of its products. Hopefully with the large renovation next doo...
The Ogilvy house is dead, long live Holt Renfrew Ogilvy! Ogilvy was class and luxury HR Ogilvy is extreme opulence and super-luxury ... without class But if you are looking for abundance and have the means, have fun! Regulars of the Ogilvy House (the original) will regret the attentive service o...
Worst customer service ever. We returned a neckless that cost around $800 with tracking and the proof of delivery and they refuse to reimburse us because they claim the package was empty. They then proceeded to accuse my mom of stealing it. Despicable customer service and store clerks. Never buying ...
Ranks pretty much one the worst from the upscaled department stores I ve been to. Layout is so poorly designed especially the beauty sector, at least with some flowers, better lightings or have some sort of wall design please?
Four out of five times I had no one helping me out at men s fragrance...
Worst customer service for Prada. The sales associate was an old woman with horrible customer service skills. She was not dressed professionally and was forcing me to purchase a bag, questioning me about why I wanted to get it online/ wanted to try them. I told her in advance that I was trying the 3...
