I spent almost 2 years of my lifetime working over there and I only have bad memories in this place. 80/20s is not bad at all to work but really poor management especially 2shift on EP department. Good Luck people......

$100 in one day shipping has thus far taken three weeks and has not been corrected, despite 18 emails and 3 phone calls. I am waiting on correction of the issue before I can possibly move beyond one star. Seeing how long this has taken, it would have been less expensive to simply have had someone custom-manufacture a frame. Unless a major turning of events occurs, I cannot recommend this business to anyone, despite the fact that this is the only reputable source of t-slot fixtures in the US.
Great products and service. Will definitely do business again in the future
I have purchased from them 4+ times. Good products each one. Sometimes I get them shipped, never had any issues. I've picked up at the factory twice and have always been treated well and accommodated.
Apparently, they no longer allow visitors during the day even though the website extends the invitation to stop by. The phone receptionist acted like they never had visitors. Too bad I made the detour when I was passing through.
These people have the worst website in commerce. and the only thing more clunky than that is trying to get them to get an overpriced product from their hands to my door.
One of the worst places to work. Terrible insurance and poverty level wages. Dont worry tho, the owners a millionaire.
Many Robotics teams rely on their product for weld-less frame construction.
Slow shipping, which is understandable because they give you an estimate of when it will ship. However if there is a mix up or missing part, it seems to take forever for it to be corrected. If they make a mistake they should try to correct it promptly but does not seem to be the case. I also feel they overcharge for shipping, I ordered same thing through amazon using this company and the shipping was half the price. Also if you try to combine orders to save on shipping, tough luck, they will not do such a thing. Not like I"m spending 20 bucks, My order is 400+ with shipping and tax. Kinda disappointed. If you are in a hurry look for alternative solutions.
The holes they drilled in my extrusion were not accurate at all & customer service is non-existent.
It took almost a week to ship a simple order with no machining. The time in transit is also estimated to be 5 days. All in all, 2 weeks from order to delivery. They advertise something like 5 days. Very slow processing and shipping!
Pros: -Good products -Helpful instructional videos. Cons: -Very long in-house processing times (the times they list on their website are not accurate. Multiply those numbers by 1.5 to get an accurate idea). -Website is frustratingly slow!
most incompetent sales staff on the planet. We buy 200K of material a year and they have ZERO interest in my business. Rod Strack wont even return phone calls. Ben Frankart cant even answer basic questions. Their network of distributos dont respond as well. Much better options out there
I really liked it there. It seemed like a very nice place. I loved the tour.
Good in theory, terrible execution of ecommerce, customer support, and addressing problems with proper solutions. If you work with this product, you may run into problems across the board in delays, and major frustration with unhelpful staff, like I have. I believe they feel so overly confident in what products they create, that it causes them to be difficult to work with. Then when things DO go wrong, they won't make it right. I would recommend spending a few minutes finding alternatives so as to not later waste hours of your life.
terrible they took my car and said that if I wanted it back i'd have to buy. Dustgusting 10/10 would not do again
Ordered a bag of 80 t-slot connectors and the processing of the shipment apparently will take 2 days, to pull a bag of connectors and put it in a box. Their website states 2-4 days but in an age where we can get something from across the country next day, from smaller companies, I have to say that this processing time frame is very slow. Will find a distributor in the future for my 8020 needs.
