Prices are way too high I understand that prices have to be raised a little due to coronavirus but the prices don't match and they used to be justified as a local it is disappointing to see them go this way.

Recently renovated. Lots of bowling lanes, laser tag, an arcade, pinball machines and a bar (an escape from all the children). Pitcher specials. Full kitchen. Great way to spend an afternoon.
We go here some what often. They have great pizza and it's a good time. My complaint here is that when it's crowded they seem more interested in funneling new business in and the customer service goes way down hill.
Bowling was okay but restaurant food was grossly undercooked and servers were overworked. Took forever to get someone to take our order and then one of our drinks never made it. Celery was old, cheese to dip platter food was cold and had layers of cheese crusted over. Chicken fingers were hard, potato skins stale. BBQ chicken pizza was not fully cooked as cheese wasn't even melted and the sauce was nasty. $3 for a soda with no refill? Watered down as well. The tables were filthy. Parmesan chicken wings and the fish and chips were the only good items that we tried. Will never dine here again.
First, let me be honest: this is not my kind of place. It's definitely more of a bar atmosphere than I generally like. The bowling alley is kind of dark with a lot of music videos and flashy stuff on the TVs. It's also loud.
However, we went with family from out of town and they really enjoyed themselves, especially the kids (although I would recommend taking kids in the afternoon, not evenings).
The food is actually pretty good, with a good variety, and not as expensive as one might expect.
There is a good selection of games, with the ubiquitous "prize" counter.
The biggest downside is the lack of staff. While the staff I talked to were all friendly and helpful, it's obvious they don't have enough to keep up. Tables outside the bar area were cluttered with beer bottles, food wrappers, etc. And, of course, the "patrons" of the establishment obviously thought they were in a full-service restaurant and gave no consideration to cleaning up after themselves or their children. Further, many of the common etiquettes of bowling alleys were completely ignored. Lots of food and drinks right next to the alleys, people running up and throwing the ball halfway down the lane while someone was trying to bowl right next to them, and wearing bowling shoes all over the area.
It seems like a good place to go and hang out with family and friends, but if you want a classic bowling experience you may be disappointed.
Wonderful place for Birthdays. My son's birthday was a blast , all the kids and adults had a great time ! The staff was very patient and helpful ! Are host Lexi was just wonderful, went out of her way to make are party run smooth, she was so friendly and great with the kids ! The food was delicious. Everything was very reasonably priced , and the games were a blast ! I will definitely be back !!!!
Okay the staff was very rude when we told Them that the game wasn t working they just made it seem like we were lying and didn t know what we were talking about and I don t appreciate thats very disrespectful and that s why I gave them this low rating I do not suggest coming here at all so if you want to save some money go to scene 75 because the place is a lot better and has better service The workers her especially perry were very rude and not welcoming I will never return and the food service sucks. Such a terrible experience. But.... Fried Pickles
Good place to go for bowling. This place has bar and food selection. I'm not sure if you are allowed to bring your own food but I think I have seen people bring trays of food. It is a good place to have office parties our company had 3 years of Christmas parties there
My son wanted a laser tag and bowling party. He had a ball. The only problem we had was with the construction and facility management. They placed wood with splinters and exposed nails to cover up the construction zones. Foolishly they placed our young children right next to the construction zone. As there is not a lot of space, in the children s excitement and accidentally brushing up against the plywood boards they got cut. I went to management for band aids and she gave me a hard time and was very unapologetic. She wouldn t even provide antibacterial ointment saying that was only for their employees. So, instead of enjoying ourselves, I had to run children to the bathroom to clean out cuts and apply band aids. Zone 28 packs in a lot of birthdays on the weekends and their time frame for party rooms does not lend to deviations to their strict schedule. Due to the cuts and running to the bathrooms which were on the other side of the building facility, our kids only had 5 minutes to eat their pizza. We were then kicked out of our room with 7 minutes to go the hostess telling us that she needed to clean the room to get ready for the next party. The kids did have fun but the construction areas are dangerous for young children, so much so that I will be contacting the Health Department and OSHA for the dangerous conditions my young children and their friends were placed in. Also, Zone 28 needs to provide more time and flexibility. They leave no room for margin in error and when you are paying for a larger birthday party that includes a room, bowling, laser tag and games, they should be providing more time in the party rooms. The hosts should provide more customer service and not be so rude - you need to run a business but also provide good customer service. If there is an accident on your property, you should treat it seriously and not just brush it off. I write this review to warn any potential party customers with young children.
Our family had a great time! Donna did a wonderful job and made it easy for my sister and I (the party planners this year) to be able to enjoy ourselves as well! Thanks again for a great time!
Went here this past Saturday..when we got there the young gentleman behind the counter wasn't so very nice seemed like everyone who worked there that we talked to wasn't so nice except our waitress...we wanted to order food but the prices were outrageous we ended up only boweling for 45 mins and we ended up paying $34 dollars...this place is overpriced and I will never return to bowel here again!!!
It's bowling so there's not much else to say. Dated Disney music plays the entire time and I guess the food is pretty alright but other than that not much else to say.
The bartenders were really nice and it was a great place for my daughter to have her 21st at because her younger siblings could be there also. The grown ups and the children all enjoyed the games as well.
We rented half of the private suite for our after wedding party. We were under the impression that since we did not rent the entire suite, another party could still occupy the other half for their party, which was fine. The week of the wedding, I email the event manger and ask her if there was indeed another party that had reserved the other four lanes. I was informed that as of that time, we would be the only party in the suite but she did then go ahead and tell me that they would open the lanes up to the public if that space was needed. Excuse me? We pay for privacy and yet you are now telling me this a few days before the party? She then assured me that they would not bother our party at all, which was not true since they decided to start filling the other half with people around 11.30, an hour and a half after our party started. They were hanging in the bar, making us wait, being loud and obnoxious and just being in the way. The staff were also very confused about what drinks that seemed to be included in the open bar that we paid for and the whole thing was just a hassle where no one seemed to communicate, so no, if you are looking for a fun, PRIVATE night for your event I would recommend you go somewhere else. Because Zone 28 is full of empty promises. Unless you would like to pay for the other half of the suite that you're not going to use, to ensure complete privacy. The manager did try to talk me in to renting the other half as well, of course because money runs the world but it shouldn't be necessary. But if you are willing to deal with hassle or paying way more than you intended, sure, then you will perhaps have a good time. Thanks Zone 28 for making my after wedding party such a mess! Truly memorable.
This is a wonderful place to spend some fun times with your loved ones. They treat you with respect and honor their programs. Everything from bowling to games and bumper cars to food birthday parties and even laser tag. You will love Zone 28.
The upgrades over the years here have really helped keep the place relevant. Nice little party area off to the side with a private bar too which is really nice.
Came here with a group for a party. Food and beer are reasonably priced, but kind of mediocre. Burgers, fries, and basic bar food. Servers seemed really disorganized - didn't bring enough menus or napkins or a pitcher of water for the table. Got a buffalo chicken wrap that tasted burnt.
Everything besides the restaurant is ridiculously expensive. Bowling is $37.95 per hour per lane, every arcade game costs at least $1 per play.
Bowling is nice, but pricey. Eat before you go, food is expensive, service is terrible. No napkins, no condiments, even after they were requested by all four patrons. Somewhere between the server and the kitchen they messed up my wife's entire order. Would not recommend unless you're looking to just bowl and drink.
We took our family of 20 here for our annual holiday bowling event. We used half of the private suite and loved it! We had a personal bar w/ bartender and enjoyed the unlimited pizza buffet. We loved the atmosphere as well as all the space to eat/play/drink. They also provided game cards for every individual! Though we reserved a suite, the entire place looked like a blast. We would certainly use Zone 28 again for the experience.
I really miss Fun Fest but the updates to bring it into being Zone 28 are solid. The new card system for games is extra nice because I live close enough that I can take my kids for an hour to play in the arcade and we can just save up to get a bigger prize. The food is pretty good and I like all the spaces they've made for eating and drinking, especially outside. The only downside is the prices have quietly crept up but that's also expected with the amount of renovations that have been put into a place that could have easily gone the way of the Ches-A-Rena.
I went there for the very first time me and my fiance went there to play pool so we decided to eat first we both had the ribeye steak unfortunately for us we wanted mashed potato with vegetable medley considering that we did not like their selection for sides Order but unfortunately for us they did not have it but they tried to give us double order of mashed. I never been to a restaurant that has no or anything to offer for a meal my steak alone tasted old and the meat almost tasted like it was spoiled meat the meat was also not even season it had tast so we had to send back our stake to be cook two times I tried to use some table salt even their table salt was so old and Rocky I had to shake it up real good so I can be able to sprinkle some salt on my steak. Overall my bill was over $75 I thought it was Ridiculous they will charge me that amount of money when I did not get too side order the only good thing that came out of that whole ordeal that the waitress was good on Her job I know one thing for sure they have a lot of people going there to bowl that's about the only good thing about that place.!!!! I would never go there again my opinion there's food really sucks..!!!!!!!!
We came here for a work gathering and had so much fun! We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn't too crowded so we had no trouble getting lanes. The games were affordable and the booths for the lanes we're the perfect size for our big group to all sit around comfortably. They had tons of screens along the alley so they even had the Pens game on to watch while we were bowling. My only complaint was that the quality of the food we got was not very good, we got pizza, nachos and fries to share - I wouldn't get it again, but that wasn't why we went so we weren't too worries about it.
I love it there! I personally loved the laser tag! The alien theme is so fun and exciting! I also like the games! My favourite game was the Maniquine Challenge game! I was hilarious watching my best friend do all these crazy dances. Food is great as well! Would definitely recommend the pizza!
A couple friends and I went here for a trivia night a couple weeks ago. When we got there it was pretty empty so we put our food in to hopefully get it quickly and ended up having to remind the waitress an hour later that we ordered it and I guess they forgot to put it in. By the time we got our food it was basically time to leave, so that was pretty annoying.
As for the trivia night it was actually a lot of fun. The prizes were minimal but since it was a free event you can't really expect a lot. If the service was better I would definitely do this again but I'm hesitant after this experience.
Really nice place, however we couldn't get a waitress at all no matter how many times we asked. We even walked to the bar and they said they will send a line waitress. After an hour we asked once again about ordering food and they allowed us to do it from the bar.
Megan really knows how to make guest feel special! There is something for family of all ages... the kids will sleep real good tonight... we will too for that matter... Special thanks to Alex who took time out to send someone to our table for quick and personal service during a very busy friday night crowd! We will be back!
WILL NEVER GO BACK! Their PRICES are OUTRAGEOUS and they were DISHONEST; they REFUSED to honor the PRICE I was QUOTED over the phone just hours earlier that same day! DO NOT RECOMMEND! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! ~~~ I called ahead (the same day, just a few hours prior to going) and asked what time slots were available and how much it was for a game of bowling. To make a long story short, at the end of the night when I went to pay for the three games we had bowled, the TOTAL was MORE THAN TWICE the amount that I had been quoted on the phone, just hours earlier. Even after questioning the cashier about the total (and explaining that I had called earlier that day and was quoted a lower price), she did nothing except stare at me; didn't say anything, offer any kind of explanation or discount, nor did she call a manager over; nothing. If my dad hadn't been with me (he's older and has had some health problems), I would have refused to pay the OUTRAGEOUS amount that she was billing me. People should not be financially RAPED just to roll a ball down a warped lane.. that's right, the lane we were on was also definitely bowed/warped. The prices at their concession stand were also very high, and the service there was very slow, but I hadn't inquired about the prices of their food when I called. The fact that they LIED to me about the cost of a game of bowling has me very angry and extremely dissatisfied.
Nice looking place but the bowling lanes are terrible. The approach was so sticky that I almost fell every time I bowled. We bowl regularly and other bowling lanes in Pittsburgh are not like this- it was impossible to slide. Hard to believe that they actually had a league bowling here. The waitresses also never came to our lane. Dissapointing considering this is WAY more expensive than local alleys because they charge per hour for the lane.
My family had sooooo much fun here. They're under construction but very welcoming to your business. Theres so much fun stuff for everyone in your group setting to enjoy. Was my first time there. We dont have a zone 28 in ohio. SO HAD A BLAST WILL BE BK TO BRING MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS
