I went bowling today with a friend, and needless to say it was over the top when it came to price. It was $24.95 for 60 minutes of bowling total. By the time the clock struck 1 hour, we finished, took our shoes off, and waited at the register patiently for a few minutes for one of the workers to ring us up (because you pay at the end). In addition, there is no option on the bowling computer to choose that you have finished the game, so the clock keeps running apparently (which is completely ridiculous). The total came to $30 roughly, and I'll explain why: she said it was an extra $5 roughly because we went 5 minutes over our time frame, which we 100% did not. This place is an absolute disgrace and nothing but money hungry! I will never come here again and if you are looking for workers who don't care and just want to rip you off, then go to Funfest!!! It's the perfect place to be upcharged. And to add on to that, there were about 15 extra lanes not being used, and she stuck us next to every other bowler (so we were in between bowlers with so many extra lanes). I asked if she could move us elsewhere and she refused and said something along the lines of "It's already in the system, I apologize." Anyways, if you want to bowl for cheap, do NOT go here. To me, bowling is bowling, and fun fest is nothing more than a money hungry scam. I'm very very disappointed. I used to come here all the time, and it was never like this. Like I said, I'll never be back no matter what the scenario is. They don't deserve my money.

I'm an "out of towner" a co-worker and I stopped in to watch Monday night football... which happened to be our home team. We both had a great time, Megan was our bartender, she was very attentive, we didn't have to wait long for a drink, she took good care of us. I will absolutely recommend zone 28 to friends and co-workers.

Disappointed, I went there for my birthday on 2,8 an the prices weren't made clear. From 11 - 2 it's $17 on a Friday night, before 11pm it's $40 an hour. They should have only charged us 40 an hour up to 11pm then changed it to $17 for the remaing time. Yes we were confused an for that they should of fix it. Also I didn't even get any Birthday special..first time there, at the same time last time there... #I do not recommend this place..

Overall it is not bad.

Overall it is not bad.

We booked the whole suite for about 50 people. The suite has 8 lanes and an independent bar which is great. However, we then found that 8 lanes were not enough and they did not provide bowling shoes for people in the suite. The game price in the lounge is also too high and I personally did not find any interesting games there. Car racing games are old and basically all other games, such as basketball shooting, fps, skee ball, and etc, end in 2 minutes, making them just not worth the price.

The escape room is a must try. We played the room 113 whose difficulty is moderate and its setting is kind of scary which is my favorite. 45 minutes is a short time but you should be able to make it.

Glad to have a place to spend my night in pittsburgh.

Pretty decent price for a fun time and there's a lot to do. The bar was a little slow though and I think they could have used more help for a Saturday. Also, there was no one at the laser tag counter and we had to get someone there to let us play.

Food is kind of pricey for the amount, lacks flavor. We enjoy coming to play the games, staff is okay with response time to malfunctioning games. Staff on both occasion we're sub-par with customer service.

Completely remodeled and renovated to be more "adult" friendly. Kinda like a smaller Dave n' Busters you can bring your kids to play ski ball and eat pizza. While you go bowling and drink and maybe play a couple arcadish games.

My family loves this place we go all the time. Staff is great just a good place to spend time with everyone. The food is pretty good a little pricey but what would you expect. All around good place something for everyone.

My family had a lot of fun here. All three of us had fun playing the game here. Definitely see us coming here often specially when my 3.5 year old gets older.

We did go on a weekend so it was crowded but we figured it would be crowded. May need to try during the week when it might not as busy.

I took my daughter bowling tonight. We bought an hour. There were only two of us so we got three games in. At the end of the hour, the game shut off. We were in the tenth frame. We got no credit for the 7 minutes mid game when the lane broke and they had to go in the back to repair. But that is all fine I guess. It is a bowling alley. The part that annoyed me though was after I went up to ask why the screens shut off and was told my hour was over, I turned around and a strange family was asking my daughter to leave the lane. Zone 28 sold our lane to another group in a matter of 3 minutes. I left frustrated and unhappy with the experience. Good luck, not heading back any time soon.

First off I haven t visited this place since it was Funfest years ago. The staff (young ladies) at the front desk for bowling, totally rubbed me the wrong way. They acted as if they didn t want to answer my questions and as if I should already know what the place had to offer. They gave us a bowling lane that wasn t cleared and clean from the previous people. Waitress was taking orders for food from other people and not one approached us. Anyway I ordered food from the bar. Food was mediocre, my kids didn t like theirs. All in all I think this place is a little over priced. Not much difference from the last time in my opinion just more expensive. Maybe teach your staff some customer service skills.

Great atmosphere, but female bartender in the end zone was absolutely terrible. Would walk away from us or not even acknowledge people. Would take 20-30 min for a drink with noone else at the bar. Unacceptable.

My cousin books a room for her birthday every year...

My cousin books a room for her birthday every year so we can all get together for bowling and laser tag. Under the former name of fun fest, we would have the greatest time. Now that it is zone 28...not so much. We were held to a VERY strict minute by minute schedule...one hour of bowling from 745-845. One of our lanes malfunctioned and was unable to be used for 10 minutes and shoe rental took forever due to one employee working the counter...of course would no added time to make up for wasted time in the shoe rental line. On the 10th frame of our (only) game, the lanes were shut off with no announcement. Pizza was next...845-900. Management forces a poor employee to awkwardly stand in the doorway of your rented party room to stare at you while you eat. Then you're ushered like livestock towards laser tag...again sticking to a minute by minute schedule. Laser tag was great if you have a small enough group to not have to worry about malfunctioning and unusable equipment. Overall, what was a yearly tradition to reconnect with cousins and have a fun time together will no longer continue at this poorly managed dumpster fire due to the treatment we received at our event. We were made to feel like a bother and it is incredibly uncomfortable to be stared at non stop by staff while eating. The food is elementary school cafeteria level anyway, but I digress. The rude and disinterested staff hardly makes the food or the overall experience more enjoyable. Just spend few more bucks and go to Dave and Buster's.

PS...it seems as though management or owners would prefer to reach out in reviews to disgruntled guests rather just doing right by them in the first place...please don't ask to hear more about my experience. It was as awful as your soggy nachos, as insulting as your pizza, and as worthless as your brand recognition.

Our company had 25 lanes booked for two hours. I've never been to a place like this and was hesitant to go to an after hours event.

I had an absolute blast. We put up the bumpers and socialized with coworkers. The atmosphere was lively and the convenience of the bar adjacent to the lanes makes it easy to refill between bowling turns.

I told the event coordinator that we need to book this location again. I suck at bowling and still had a great experience.

The food was delicious. The salads were better than your typical iceberg buffet and the pizza was definitely worth coming for.

I've been the Zone 28 twice since it's been renovated. It used to be called fun fest when I was a childand we would go often. I was a little hesitant to go since the remodel but I am so happy I did. It's beautiful and for people of all ages. There is a restaurant and a full bar. Great staff and very nice and clean.

Very discriminating place! Never apologized for totally ignoring me in line. While standing there a white family jipped me in line so she started ignored me and started talking to them. So Wrong!!!

I give Zone 28 credit on the remodeling and trying to make things better. But with this, prices are very high, especially in the bar area. I was turned down from bowling just a game or two. I had to do a timed package which was pricey as well. The addition to the arcade was nice but it took away from the pool table area. It's like the place tried to take a step forward and took 2 steps back.

The food was great but don't ask for the to go menu they didn't have any ready to hand out and wanted me to wait for it when it should have been available when it was time for me to leave being that I asked for it when I arrived. Also food service was extremely slow so if you go and are in a hurry you might want to call ahead to place your order.

I went to zone 28 with high hopes and left very disappointed. We had two games broken with no sign that took our money. Finally on the second game (Ski ball), We asked a staff member to give us our money back. She was unable to and tried to call a manager. We waited 10 minutes by the ski ball machine for no manager to show up. Then, when we went to check out and get prizes, there was no order and it was chaos. People kept coming over and cutting in front of us. Like I said there s no line to get prizes so the staff have no idea who was next. We tried to be aggressive but couldn t get noticed because we didn t have any screaming children with us. I will never be back and I do not recommend it. Just go to Dave and busters or Chuck e cheese instead. They have order and understand how to run a good arcade. Plus, it s the most expensive arcade I ve ever been too.

The staff is very exceptional. Responded so quickly to a complaint about my drinking ex. They truly care about safety and protected me as best as they could from that bad situation. Thank you everyone, especially the one lady in particular who would not leave my side and waited with me for my ride. Because of you I avoided harms way and I'm doing great btw. hope you see this! Thank you again!

We loved the new game room, especially the Enormous Claw Machine.....games are a bit pricey but overall we had so much fun and got a ton of redemption "tickets" which was nice. Also went at a great time since we we're the only ones playing in the game room (everyone was bowling and my boys are still a bit too young for that, but were very nice lanes that we look forward to playing on in the future!).......cant wait to go back

Graphics and pictures on the screen for bowling we're a fun and amusing twist. Snacks were a bit expensive.

Laser tag was decently priced at 2 games for $10. We paid and had to wait for our slot. A helpful young man working there came up to me saying he wouldn't be there for our game and wanted to make sure we kept our receipt. We had heard the workers commenting that they were on schedule. So after 15 minutes past our scheduled time and no sign of any worker I went to find someone. The same young man was working elsewhere but came over and ran the game for us because whoever was supposed to do it was nowhere to be found. I think she disappeared after she did one for a birthday party.

The children had fun..... with that being said: Went to bowl and for $40 we got 1 hour, while in the 10th frame all ended. During our 1 hour we ordered food totaling $36 and change, gave $40 never received change, never saw server again, no refills ever offered. Went to game room to get gaming cards only to see a sign with $20 special which would have saved a good bit of $$$.... and it was never offered!!
Multiple games were not working and there was no one to help. The 2 young ladies working the redemption counter were great but very busy. Many children in the game room but no one walking around to pick up/clean up beer bottles left behind, so they were sitting in reach of children.

We played laser tag, which was fun. They had some cool arcade games. They have bowling too but we didn't bowl. They also have an escape room for $25 per person. We didn't go but that is a bit cheaper than a lot of places so that's a nice addition and I would check it out next time. The 3 stars is because of the restaurant. Now, I don't expect a restaurant in an arcade to be too notch. But I do expect simple items to be made correctly. The burgers were pretty poorly cooked. My wife ordered medium well and it came out BURNT. I ordered medium and it was close to rare. Sister in law had to send her burger back as well. They did fix us new burgers, but mine was very well done and had some burnt parts the next time. The pizza came out super doughy and we had to send it back. So total 4 items needed to be sent back due to poor cooking. I would go back to Zone 28, but wouldn't eat there again.

Best arcade in Pittsburgh by far. I love this place because of the half price games every Wednesday, on top of their already less expensive prices than Dave & Buster's. Staff are very helpful as well.

Loud, even by bowling alley standards. Suite 28 might be well worth the extra $10 per hour if it takes you away from the bigger crowds.

Upgraded bar and snack area since our last visit. Staff was helpful.

Looks can be very deceiving, especially in the Bowling area. It all looks very nice, until you get up there and look around. It's not very clean, the floor before the approaches was dirty, stuff all over the floors. And no it would not be from the previous people that were there just before us, as we were the first group there for the day since we got there shortly after they opened up for the day.

If you actually know how to bowl, and slide when bowling, you can forget about it, the approaches are filthy and sticky, there is absolutely no sliding happening there, I fell flat on my face on my first turn, tried a few test slides before my next ball and it just was not going to happen, so I had to just stand there and throw my ball. The person next to us asked me about the approaches and had the same thoughts that they were horrible, and 3 lanes away from us a guy that looked to be in his 60's fell due to the same problem, and was down for a while, even though he seemed to be OK, this place really needs to maintain their lanes better, it has to be a huge liability for them for not maintaining them.

When we were done and I took my shoes off, there was so much debris (crumbs) on the soles of my shoes, who knows if it was from the floors, or from the approaches, my guess is it is from both. I doubt I would ever come back here for bowling, I don't want to hurt myself.

After bowling, we went over to the arcade area, it appeared very nice also, and was huge with a very nice assortment of games for the kids to play.

Some of the people in our group did order food, I am guessing it was good as I did not hear any complaints about it, I didn't personally order anything so I cannot make a comment on it.

We ate at The Railhouse tonight and it was horrible . Our server was terrible . My coffee was cold and she forgot my spoon . My son in law ordered a Sierra Mist , she brought a Mountain Dew. The Appetizer took forever and came just a minute or two before our dinner . She never asked me if I wanted more coffee, I had to eventually ask her and she forgot it . I.paid 17 for a dish that was terrible , mac and cheese with chicken . The mac and cheese looked like mush . My daughter ordered a med burger , it was well . My husbands burger was cold as were all the fries on everyone's plate. My son in laws fish was cold . She forgot the side salads and had to be reminded. We will never be back .

All the employees here are rude and do not seem happy. I have yet seen an employee smile yet. The resteraunt is the worst., all the servers stand in the back and it takes forever to get waited on. Other than That me and the kids love the arcade, bowling and laser tag.

Went for dinner. The server and the people working the games were awesome. Very friendly. Kids had a great time playing games. Ordered 2 pizzas and a taco trio, and everything came out semi-warm and not very good so will eat first next time, but it's a fun place.

Really great place to have a kids birthday party or just relax on a weekend. Prices are a little high, but you get a lot for what you pay. Friendly staff, and clean facilities. Will definitely be returning on the future.

This is the coolest bowling alley I have ever been to! There's a restaurant, bar, arcade, bumper cars, and laser tag. My husband and I rented out their private party space for a wedding reception and our guests loved it! The food that we ordered from them was good, the place is family friendly, and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Would definitely suggest this for parties. It's a reasonable price and a hit with all ages.

It wasn't bad, but wasn't great. It's like a Dave and Busters for a younger crowd. The do offer more though, a restaurant, bar, bowling ($40 per lane for x amount of hours, shoe rental not included), laser tag ($7 per person for 1 game, $10 per per person for 2, which isn't a bad deal) and an escape room ($25 per person, if you want to just be your group of people you have to buy out all 10 tickets no matter what). All and all it would probably be an alright place to bring kids, but be prepared to spend a decent amount of money while you are there.

Recommend going EARLY to avoid the crowds the lanes are so close when they fill up theres nowhere to sit really and your always bumping into people on other lanes. Pretty expensive too.
