Great place for kids. The bowling lanes are creative and entertaining and if you somehow get bored of that the attached arcade is great. A bit pricey but good for a special occasion.

I just watched this girl Taylor at the shoe return handle a full house with a little girl that just wanted to bowl when they re full. She knew her business and calmned the mom and the little girl. This employee actually cares about the business and people

One of the best bowling alleys I've been to. Has a private room for parties with 6 or 8 lanes. Video games, good food.

Great pizza, and love that they serve beer here for adults! The laser tag is fun for all ages, and I've also gone bowling here. Great all around family fun! They always have some type of deal/special going on, so it doesn't get too expensive.

The renovations are finally done and the results are very nice. The beer selection has come a long way but it is expensive. I suggest checking out their late night bowling specials and getting a group together to save some money and, in some cases, get unlimited bowling within a specified time window.

Very pricey if ur in a small group...but if you have a group of 6 then the price is not bad. Food is amazing!!!

The bowling is just what you expect from bowling. The difference is in the food there. The food is a bit sub-par. We also went to order drinks from the bar and as I stood at the bar with credit card in hand it was a minimum of 10 minutes to 15 minutes before I was helped. When I finally was helped I told the bartender lady that I watched her help every person that walked up to the bar even after she looked at me. The bartender then told me they were busy and never apologized to me. I then told yes it was busy but I was empty handed with a card in hand and she looked at me and the other bartender looked at me also and never asked me what I wanted.
The bowling was fine but you only get an hour. I suggest getting drinks and food before you start bowling.

Took forever to even get acknowledged at the bar. Get more staff.

Lots of fun, good drinks, and yummy snacks. Very crowded on a Saturday night, but that's to be expected!

This is a review of the arcade and bowling section of Zone 28 not the attached restaurant.

This place was very clean which is important for an arcade. I was there for about two hours and saw two separate staff members cleaning the machines during my time there. The games were pretty fun, diverse and as well priced as any carnival games. The prizes were decent. 4 stars because some of the machines were broken or missing pucks or balls and they didn't have DDR or any physical games like that on the floor.

Awesome place. Great lane treatments... If only people would keep their damn street shoes off the wood!

This place has really outdone themselves since rebranding and remodeling. As an actual bowler, however, this is not the spot for any type of seriousness. For entertainment purposes and to go have a night out goofing around with your buddies, it is a very nice and unique experience. I was very pleased with how things have changed and would definitely recommend a visit.

Not a bad place to stop and play some arcade games! The food is also really good. I've Never bowled here so this is for the arcade area and restaurant area review .

Excellent environment, good game prices, helpful employees. Tons of craft beer on tap. Sat down for food before we played games, not a very good experience there.

The upgrade is pretty nice. Definitely needs some better food and staff thou.

Great bowling alley for groups. We had a big work team outing 30ish people and it was really nice. We didn't check out the arcade but it seemed nice. The Tesla chargers were awesome

This place was really nice. There is so much to do here with all different age family members. The food is great and the prices for everything is very reasonable. I highly recommend a visit. I was there on a Saturday and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be.

We went late one night and the service was good. The team tried to get us to started as quickly as possible even though the register was giving trouble. The lanes are new and the display modern with great music creating a great vibe.

Food at the restaurant was frozen and reheated. The grilled chicken had so much water running all over the place I thought it was swimming.
Two registers at the bowling alley and 5 people either looking at a spreadsheet or a tablet and only one person checking people in using one register. Trying to get registered to play laser tag, forget it. The 3 young ladies working that area looked at their spreadsheet and each other more than anywhere else.

Came in Saturday night at dinnertime and met immediately by friendly staff. The menu is pretty basic at the Rail but was perfect to order. We happened here as we are from Cleveland (and we were welcomed none the less ;))

My company had an outing at the facility and the customer service was amazing! The food was awesome, the Escape rooms were great, and we had an overall blast! I would recommend this place to anyone or any company.

Best. Birthday. Party! Bowling, laser tag, and bumper cars was the best experience for our daughter and friends for her 10 year old party. Especially Sarah, our server, and the entire staff that made my daughter feel special on her big day!!

2nd time there and the outside bar cannot keep accurate tabs. Ask for detailed receipt if you do go... I had a beer and a hoagie on my bill that wasn't mine. The bar tender said oh I'm sorry I must have but the person next you you on your bill... But wasn't going to take it off. They charge you $10 an hour for cornhole bags to play... As you buy drinks and food all night... It should be free. Won't be going back.

Not a good first experience and first impressions are lasting ones.

Super duper fun played lazer tag and some games most were functional only 2 were down and when I swiped on one they reimbursed me a 5$ card for the mistake super nice staff and a wonderful hangout

It was a blast. If you like Dave and Buster's, but would prefer some other forms of entertainment, Zone 28 is for you. There's a full bowling alley right at the main entrance, a laser tag battle zone, and a decently sized and equipped arcade. This is the perfect place to let your little boys and girls have a blast without blowing the budget.

Had to order from the bar because the majority of the waitstaff called in sick. The guacamole left a lot to be desires but the pizza was better than expected for a bowling alley. The bathrooms were filthy and smelled horrible. The bar staff was quick and polite.

Had a very poor experience last night. On the plus side, the facility is clean and has quality equipment. However, management of the facility is severely lacking. We were put on a waitlist for 40 minutes with other small walk-in groups, while there were two open lanes for the entire time. When I asked about them, I was told that they were "probably waiting for people who were in front of [us] to respond to the lane-ready text", though I could see the two groups in front of us were also eyeing those lanes for the entire time (we ended up getting put on one of those lanes after the full 40 minutes had elapsed). It took over 20 minutes between the time our friends ordered black coffee, and the time that someone actually poured them cups. Very poor experience, not likely to return.

This place has everything. I would suggest going when they have deals because it isn't cheap.

First time there and I really enjoyed myself. Music to dance to. Food options is great. Something for everyone. Service very nice. Great atmosphere!!

Has to be the best bowling alley entertainment spot in pgh with pool tables that are flat tons of games for kids two bars with great food & a huge selection of beer from your first step through the door everyone is pleasant and helpful don t know if my son and I will bowl anywhere else now

A great place for teens to hang out although the bowling was very pricey. There is a bar available for adults and I will admit , I'd probably hang out here for a silly night with the hubs. However, I wasn't expecting the cost to be so high for one hour of bowling. They've updated the alleys and the tables. The computer screens have a youthful appeal and the videos on the monitor are humorous. Very nicely done just be prepared to spend a bit of cash.

We had a wonderful time again this year! My husband's company has a Christmas party there and its always wonderful food, service and fun!

My daughter's birthday party was held here. Great package. This place has come a long way. A nice restaurant, a sports bar with a wonderful selection of beers, an escape room, a large arcade, lazer tag, and bowling. All of the kids had a great time. The cost was well worth the price. The staff was super. Clean and family friendly. Quite noisy, of course.

We rented the lane for the night and they said even if we went and played games or whatever that they would save us the lane. We went to do other stuff and they threw all our drinks and food away that we clearly weren't done with. They did replace it but we had to complain which I don't like having to do.

Went to bowl ion a sat it was 40 bucks. These people are out of there minds .Thats 40 a hr. I'll be back during the week when its only 27 and hr.

This place is a great time! Lots of laughs and excitement playing games is always fun.

Great beer selection and good bowling deals. They no longer have pool tables though and I would not recommend eating anything here.

Luke Sweeney did not like how high the costs of the games were. Otherwise, he enjoyed the experience.

Waaaayyyyyy overpriced, have a special needs kid who absolutely loves to bowl but with those prices we cant afford you(even with our coupons you stretched me to the limit)I dont see why you wouldn't lower prices and bring in a full crowd, seems like stupid management to me. I would think about more people and lesser prices. You could make more money that way. Good luck in your management process. Goeing to find a lane that caters to the public not the money.

We had a lot of fun for a child's birthday party. The only downside is the party rooms are along the left hand and back walls out of view from watching the kids have fun bowling. They recently remodeled and did a nice job. Just wish the party rooms had better access to watch kids bowl.

Zone 28 is growing rapidly! You can now do laser tag, the new escape room, eat at their new restaurant or bowl. There is no other place like it and they are doing an amazing job! Prices are jumping up so that is the only reason for 4 stars. Everything else is pristine!

Went for a birthday party then a whole lot of people on different lenses that I did see for years the place changed 100% good

I took my family here for a small birthday party this week. The party was extremely unorganized and nothing was properly prepared for us. I watched several waitresses gather orders for everyone but us even after we requested someone numerous amount of times. After a while a wonderful waitress named Zoey approached us. She was so helpful even though we weren t in her assigned area. Overall it s a great facility just needs to be more organized. Maybe some better bartenders as well we waited there about 30 minutes. Food was great though.

The arcade and escape is really good, but from my experience the food isn't as good.

Great time for the whole family. We bowled and had a pile of drinks, appetizers, and pizza. The loaded fries are amazing. Kids of all ages had a blast and so did the adults (bowling skills aside). Definitely want to go back and check out the private bowling section.

We had a bowling party and they were definitely a little slow with the pizza. That being said it was tasty.

Took some family members to what's now Zone 28 for the first time since it was Fun Fest and the first thing they said was "Wow! It used to look so dirty here" lol We had a ball (pun intended) bowling and playing arcade games. Next time it's Laser tag and bumper cars for sure!

This place was pretty cool I spent most of my time drinking and eating, cause I had came alone. But it would be a great place to come with family or a group of friends. I would def come back that's for sure. The food is really good. Drinks are crazily overpriced but I'm use to that just about anywhere.

The management here is extremely unprofessional! Our server was amazing extremely nice except for there was a mistake with our order. I kindly asked for a manager and our waitress nicely went and got Deneen for us who was extremely rude and seemed annoyed with us the whole time. I also watched her scream at a few employees while I was there. Mind you we where here with our kids for a good 4 to 5 hours. I don t want my kids hearing that negativity when we are in a fun kid friendly enviornment. I probably will not be returning here! );
