Great venue

Great venue
Kept the old charm and added a clean cool dining spot. Food was delicious...a bit on the pricey side.

A staple of Montgomery County's contemporary surf n turf restaurants. Thank goodness this is one of the few places remaining to maintain a classy feel and decorum combined with impeccable service. If you are a patron, regardless of your bankroll, please make at least a small effort to dress accordingly for the overall experience. The ambiance, staff, and quality of food have earned that right. Please help the rest of us to justify a unique dining experience in the heart of Montco and support this awesome establishment.

I have reviewed the blue Bell Inn before, but I have to come back and say this place never disappoints! Great service, great drinks, and amazing food! On my last visit I ordered the black bean burger without a bun, it was by far the best black bean burger I have ever had and the presentation was so beautiful!

beautiful outdoor setting...great and attentive service...was disappointed with my special which was duck breast and very expensive. The duck was very chewy and the skin which I asked to be crisp was limp and soggy. My guest loved his meal which was scallops. Would definitely give it another try.

Wont ever be coming here again. This was my first experience dining in here.
The waiters screwed up my boyfriends order and then openly admitted it.
Basically we ended up having to watch each other eat separately because his order had to be remade.
"Manager" came by also to apologize...but long story short...didn't even offer to comp his meal for the extended wait and inconvenience.
Dont get me wrong the food was great but business ethics and service was disappointing.

Had brunch here a few weeks ago. The Inn has a long-standing reputation for superior food and service. Perhaps this is for dinner. What we had was just ok and over-priced . A small lobster roll and Eggs Benedict could be had a many other places for less.

I would have given them a five star if the waitress attended to us better. The food was ok I ordered the wedge salad which they gave me too heads of lettuce which I thought was too much for the salad it also had 3shrimps a few pieces of crab meat and cherry tomatoes. The atmosphere was nice and calming. We had an overall nice time.

The menu was out of this world. A little prejudging on my part. But, well home run. The courses were well exacuted. The drinks superb. The service, top notch. Waitress, cute, personable, and knew the product. Stood behind it. Over all 5/5 awesome people great food. Definitely a return visit next time I'm in the area.

Oysters and Steak! My first time eating oysters- slurpy, supremely tasty & only for a dollar each. The steak and peppered mushrooms were my favorite. Definitely, going back with a bigger apettite.

There isn't anything about The Blue Bell Inn that isn't spectacular. With an expert restoration of the building, plus modernization, the service and food offered are unparalleled. You get what you pay for, and this is proof positive. They never disappoint!

I recently had the opportunity to treat a client to lunch in the Blue Bell area. The client is a Vice President at a large local pharmaceutical company, so I wanted to make sure they had a great experience. With that in mind, I decided to make a reservation at the recently renovated Blue Bell Inn, where my company has frequented for many years. The appetizers and drinks were fine but the service definitely had room for improvement, in my opinion. While finishing my seafood salad, I discovered a live fly on the bottom of the last piece of shrimp. I, of course, did not finish my meal and my client decided to not finish hers as well. So, I asked to speak with the manager to request that both meals be removed from the check. When the manager on the lunch shift, Jeff, showed up, he asked what happened. I briefly described the situation and politely requested that both meals be removed from the check. Jeff began to explain why/how a fly could have ended up in my meal but couldn t understand why that would affect my client s appetite and went on to explain that he would remove only my meal from the bill. I personally feel that this situation could ve easily been remedied by simply removing the requested meals from the bill, instead of justifying why the fly was in the food and insulting my client. Unfortunately, the decision to visit the Blue Bell Inn is not nearly as easy as it once was.

Four of us arrived for an early midweek dinner were surprised to see a full parking lot and a line for valet parking. Waz-up we thought? Inside the place was buzzing with what looked like a full house. Yet, when we approached the hostess station we were warmly greeted and promptly lead past a spacious, busy bar space, to one of several dining areas in a rather small, pleasantly decorated, dining room. Nicole soon arrived to greet us, provide water and menus, and take our beverage orders. Throughout our visit she was exceedingly pleasant and helpful. That she didn't check in with us as often as we might have expected likely was because the dining room was full with no empty tables and she appeared to be the only server. She apparently was also responsible for busing her tables because it took some time before dishes were removed. The Caesar salads, mushroom toast, and fresh oysters appetizers were all superb. The calamari we requested for the table was as good as any of us could remember eating anywhere. The coating perfectly adhered to the tender yet firm meat with flavor that had just a kick of spice to make it interesting. The racks of lamb and strip steak entrees were prepared medium rare as requested and both were tender and scrumptious. One of us ordered the grouper special that was simply prepared with a bit of bok choy and a hint of soy that was found to "delicious." The sides with our entrees were the usual with fresh ingredients that were well prepared. Yes, we each had desserts and they were excellent though the coffee creme brulee just wasn't our cup of tea. This is a rather upscale establishment approaching fine dining, not withstanding some of the patrons picnic attire, so the prices seem commensurate with the quality of the food and service.

I have held several corporate events at the Blue Bell Inn over the last three years and also stop by for lunch from time to time. In fact, we just had our holiday luncheon there and I also booked our company anniversary party in March at another venue of theirs called the Country House at Bluestone located behind the Inn. I have always been pleased with the service and the food. The staff is very professional and personable. Will definitely book more events here.

First I am going to say the food was very good. The service was not so good. The place is loud. Again the service was not good. The food was good but things had to go back due to it not being hot. The appetizers were stellar. The Cheese Board is beautiful. Some of the old rooms are still there. Its kind of foolish they make you walk through a very loud bar to get to your table. Again, We had to waitresses which we heard state " they did not want to wait on us" and I had to eventually ask a manager for assistance.

Nice atmosphere. Excellent service (Kevin F) who read the situation consistently well during the entire evening. Food was good. Steak/meat quality okay with regards to the strip, delicious prime rib though. Definitely not a great wine list, but some very nice mid and high end options.

Update May 23, 2019: I'm increasing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Kevin continues to offer the highest level of service and care with his unique and personal style. The menu continues to be very good, the prime rib is a truly great meat option. Prices continue to be extremely fair and they continue to have Chateau Musar 2004 on the wine list for what must be the lowest price in the country.
