This museum is amazing, i really enjoyed this place.

The museum is gigantic. Plan a long stay. The dinosaur exhibit was amazing, as was the Egyptian mummy exhibit.

Visited with my wife and daughters. No way to see the collection in an afternoon. Dinosaurs were awesome. The Terracota Warrior exhibit was great. Great value for the admission price.

There's a lot to cover. But it's a very interesting place. Don't forget to carry your student ID if you want the discount. The foods alright.

This museum is a place that takes you places you have never gone. It is a real exceptional experiene.

If youve got an EBT card youre in luck you can bring 6 people and pay for basic passes a super discounted rate $3 a person. You wont get into any of the special exhibits but you can pay extra to go to thoses (not sure on the price cause we didnt go to any on the special ones) we had fun anyway and saw a bunch of cool things and the kids liked the elephants in the front. Mostly for the older kids my 5yr old liked it but only the the dino bones and some statues. I wish they haad some more hands on stuff.

Great collection, and the offers for residents are awesome

Great place to spend the day and relax. All the displays are beautiful and very informal. I could spend hours on hours there just reading through the displays. If you don t get want an escape from the busy commute of Chicago spend your day there and just take in the sight of the museum. I had an amazing time there.

Awesome museum. Loved that they let Loyola have the honors program here. Very nice to tour the museum with not a lot of people.

Immensely large museum with great taxonomic classification and well preserved existing and extinct flaura and fauna. Everything is well organised. Must visit for kids and biologists as they have a plethora of information to see and learn. To top it all, there is a Mummy in the Egyptian area which is not to be missed! Overall cool experience!

Great museum, been here multiple times and would love to visit multiple times in the future.

Amazing museum! It is entirely possible to get wrapped up in even just one exhibit and spend hours there.

It is SO big! I was amazed at the size of the museum! It would take a week to see all the exhibits and shows. Our tickets got us into all the special exhibits and a 3D show. Although we didn't have any kid with us, there were plenty of activities for children. Some exhibits were more text heavy, so we adults learned something as well. I wish we had dedicated more time to see everything.

We went to a special event here. It was nice and spacious and we enjoyed the artifacts.

Great experience for my 2 year old boy who loves dinosaurs. Just wish they had more animated things that move. But a overall good family field trip!

Always a full days worth of entertainment (learning for all ages). Great exhibits and interactive displays too. From dinosaurs to German U boats, farming to space exploration.

Nice place to visit with family. Maybe more suitable for older kids. Price not bad for all there is to see. They need to update their videos, lol

You could visit every week for a year and still find something new and interesting. Sue's new exhibit is breathtaking.

Lots to see. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. Not impressed with the cafeteria. Bring your own food.

Mi kids and I loved this place. You'll be amazed by all the things available to see in the museum. From Mummies, Dinosaur skeletons to displays of different types of animals. We had a blast.

Kids and I always love the Field. Great staff and great exhibits. Egypt is our favorite section. Plenty of info and mummies...

Prepare for a whole day of walking. This place is huge with variety of different exhibitions.

Love this museum... My 9 year old can't get enough of it. When we come to Chicago, so goes multiple times each trip. It's worth buying the member pass.

The exibets were good, nothing much interactive or for young people

It is amazing! You will need several hours to visit all the exhibitions in the museum, the most important is of course Sue but really it is enjoyable the full museum

Very interesting, all the showrooms that I visited. Impressive part of the dinosaurs. Although the exhibition I most enjoy 'was that of Photography of children from 8 to 16 years old, it fascinated me.

Our family visited and found it interesting, but not interesting enough to keep our young ones occupied . Highlight was definitely the dinosaur exhibits.

Amazing museum covering many diverse subjects. Definatly get the all inclusive pass to check out the mummy exhibit and china exhibit. Absolutely amazing and helped me grow my gray matter most definatly. The diaramas were pretty amazing as well. Loved all the animal diaramas the created.

Awesome place to spend a day or two! Not 2-3 hours as I planned! We end up spending all day there! Very family oriented! Play area for kids , picnic area to eat, lots of activities!

The new SUE setup is gorgeous. Really worth seeing. We didn't have much time to spend but we had to see that. A lot of the other stuff feels quite dated, but still a great time.

Why does a fountain drink with a meal cost over 10 dollars. I d rather out of a garbage can. The food isn t even halfway decent and I can find better French fries at my old elementary school.

Quite a collection of mummies - Egyptian, Mayan and Aztec

Awesome. The best place ever to spend a day. Very well organized. It's a little bit expensive, but if you live in Chicago area, it suits you to buy an annual family pass and save. I wish I lived there, and I had children to take there every week.

One for the Lascaux cave exhibit, more than half the animatronics were broken I asked for my money back.

Always a great time. The movies are not great but the special setups are really good

So much to see and do. Very informative, not as big as the Smithsonian, but still very nice. I wish they'd have better directions to get around while inside, but still a very nice museum.

My favorite museum in the country. Incredible exhibits and reasonable admission prices.

Fun for the whole family and they frequently have free admission for residents.

Classic museum set on the beautiful Chicago lakeshore. The Sue exhibit is definitely a must see.

Amazing! Took my son there for a life-changing experience and they did not disappoint!
