A very cool museum. My daughter loves seeing the animals and dinosaurs. She's a bit young for some of it but she still seems to enjoy herself when we go. It's usually crowded but not unbearable so. This is a nice amenity to have in the city.

I have never been to a museum that I have enjoyed more than the Field. It is educational without being dull, which I think makes it a great place to bring kids, too. Every time I go, I feel like there is more that I want to see. Definitely worth a visit.

Great place for kids and families to come to! Large enough to walk for 2 hours and exolore and learn! We even got the basic package and there was enough to see! Very clean only wished the food were more affordable but otherwise definitely recommend to others!

I'm not a history buff or really into it. I could give this four or five stars for as much as my husband loves it though and it did look very full and informative to me. For me and my 3 and 5 year old, it wasn't for us. And I have been here twice as a kid and twice as an adult, I was bored everytime....But because it's just not my thing.

They do have a family kid lab/play area in the lower level, which is where I ended up taking my kids. They liked it and had fun, but on the Sunday we went, it closed at 3 and so I was stuck chasing my kids through the rest of the museum while their father looked around. There also isn't that much to do in the play area and they were starting to get bored after an hour.

If this kind of stuff interest you, you will love it. Definitely go. They have a lot.

An absolute must visit place in Chicago.

One must keep one day in hand to visit this museum in order to properly experience the exhibits. I particularly liked the exhibits on Egyptian pyramids, but other exhibits on dinosaurs and on oceans in general were also great!!

Awesome place to spend the day. My only gripe is the way they do the lines when doors open. Lots of people standing around when a line is out the door. Especially when most of the people already bought tickets through GO PASS or CITY cards.

Undoubtedly I loved this Museum or you see the real skeleton of T-Rex Sue to an Egyptian mummy! What more could you want. You see a bit of different cultures. It arrives perfectly is CTA bus. It has 2 entrances and using public transport in either of the two you arrive well. There is simple food but this place takes all day so you can eat without problems.

Loved the Mummies exhibit. The staff member inside the exhibit was quite rude, but all other staff were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The dinosaurs were very cool, as well. I would definitely go back and recommended it to first timers.

This was our 3rd visit. We always find new things to see and experience. There's a nice Cafe and several shops inside, too. We noticed many child friendly interactive displays, as well. Just wear comfy shoes!

Very large with tons of things to look at, read and take pictures of. You'll have to be hoghly motivated and focused to take it all in on one day. Otherwise, I recommend taking it in over two days or prioritizing your favorite/most interesting exhibits first.

Another world class museum in Chicago. The people that live here should feel spoild with the museum riches they have. Great location near the South East edge of Grant Park which makes accessible from mass transit. Helpfully hint: If you plan on doing other tourist attractions in the city, you might want to consider a City Pass or Go Pass (can be purchased from Costco on line at a discount). These could save you a fair amount of money.

It's well worth a day! The exhibitions are well separated and so different that we do not hesitate to start another when we just finished one! Very playful, the museum is very suitable for a public of children ...

I think for the amount of money they are charging for this place, it is worth every penny. There is so much to see, so wear some comfortable shoes and get there early. When you are tired don't forget to sit and enjoy a nice hot meal at the restaurant inside the museum.

This museum was incredible. The big draw is the Dinos, especially the T-Rex, the whole museum is just so good. It's very educational and perfect for both kids and adults. I wish there was more time in the day so we could see it all

Not gonna lie, definitely got giddy in Sue's exhibit. The whole prehistoric section is spectacular.

I loved it, in simple words. If you are in Chicago for a few days definitely visit even if you don't like museums. Spare at least 4 hrs. It is never ending. Research online and decide beforehand what you want to see. If you try to see everything in one visit you will get tired.
