Zehnders is a fantastic place to eat. Warm and cozy atmosphere tied with friendly and helpful staff makes Zehnder's a great place to eat!

This place is great, especially if you want to walk out feeling like you are overstuffed and about to barf! But it sure is fun going down, everything is delicious, and the service is wonderful :-)

My group experience at Zehbde's of Frankenmuth was super exciting. The service was wonderful. The food was delightful and filling and the music was toned where it didn't interfere with the monitored tv program or the waiters and waitresses voices. We had an wonderful visit at Zehbde's .

This place the win downhill since last year I will not be returning back the only good thing that I got from out of this place was my waitress she was very friendly and nice

Always excellent food and service, been coming here ever since I can remember chicken dinner is all you can eat, which consists of a garlic toast, chicken liver pate and cheese plate, white bread, stollen bread, and butter, noodle soup, cottage cheese, cranberry salad, and coleslaw... then out comes dinner with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, noodle with crumb topping, veggie, and chicken so much delicious food, it's hard to not leave stuffed. A great place to come with the family, its been a tradition in mine for years

Love the food!! Try and go as often as we can. Worth the hour plus drive. But be prepared to wait. Even when having a reservation. I always recommend the buffet seating. More variety.

Been to this restaurant many times I always enjoyed my dinner great atmosphere very very friendly people that work there everybody is happy great place to relax eat maybe have a few drinks nice beautiful shopping stores lower level wheelchair accessible no problem elevators nice parking lot!

The line looked very long but moved quickly. Our server's personality was phenomenal. The food was good, only down side was we waited a long time for drink refills and no straws available which was an accessibility issue.

This is a brilliant location. Delicious food, wonderful staff, and a delightful decor that puts you right in the mood of the town. Make this a destination you eat at if you visit Frankenmuth.

Food kind of sucks..famous chicken is flavorless...but I LOVE the atmosphere

Due to Covid, their dinning room was closed but the shop downstairs was open to browse. Most importantly the ZCheff takeaway was open and offered the same great food to go!

Nice idea, but if I didn't get it as part of my package, I would have not purchased the full dinner. The dinner choices were neat, but not great tasting, and can get the same for cheaper downstairs. Our waiter was not very good, and slow, and quirky. The tables were card tables... Regardless, I'm glad I went and you should make a reservation for the experience.

World famous chicken was the worlds worst. Mashed potatoes and dressing were even worse. Not worth the stop.

Went for Easter dinner , it included family style chicken dinner Plus , the jumbo shrimp were fabulous. Our family has visited Zehnders for decades , they still have consistently good food , service , and hospitality!!

Was a nice visit, we have had better experiances with them in the past though.

What can you say. A Christmas wonderland. If you Can't find it here, stop looking.

The family chicken dinner is definitely an experience. It's very tasty if a little pricey, I've never taken anyone who didn't enjoy it. As a bonus, you get a free meal the month of your birthday.

Jamie took Ashley her mom and me his mom to zehnder's for dinner on mother's day it was a great meal we even took Damien with us and it was a fantastic day the food was very good

This looked like every time we've dined previously...if there were covid protocols in place I didn't see them. Tables seemed as close as ever. Was a little disheartening since there are so many older folks that dine here, and I wish they'd spread everyone out a bit more. Our server Sandy was lovely, and I'd love to see her on our next visit. Post covid hopefully!

We make the hour plus drive at least once a year to Frankenmuth and while there eat at Zehnder's.. We always have the family style Chicken dinner. Go to there web sight for more details on the meal. I recommend reservations. Go early or eat early to enjoy the rest of Frankinmuth.

Service was solid, food was hit or miss. I didn't hate it but you feel like after so many years you could add some seasoning to the chicken and just add both to the menu

The food seems to have gone down hill. The chicken was very salty and dry.

Really disappointed with this place. We were offered regular bread or garlic bread and chose garlic. They came and were very hard and crunchy, more so than croutons. We mentioned this to the waitress and she did not offer to swap them out with the other option. The primed rub sandwich states that it comes on a pretzel bun but arrived on French bread like a dip. I mentioned ehhh to the (same) waitress, she shrugged it off and said she would check into it and never did. She didn't offer to replace it either. Very poor service for a place that is often talked up but serves just ok food.
I won't go back and do not recommed it. Next time I'm going across the street to the Bavarian Inn.

Always a stop when in Frankenmuth. The food is excellent - as is the service. For some it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Always enjoy a visit to beautiful Frankenmuth, and enjoying a great dinner at Zehnder's. A shout out to a great waitress by the name of Kennedy, she went out of her way to make it a very pleasant experience!

I have gone here since I was little. They have the widest selection of food I have ever seen. The food is prepared correctly and tastes astounding, and the employees only want to help you. We had a very funny server who was in a rush but still found the time to share a laugh with us. While it may take some time for them to get you your food, it is normally due to the crowd and is always worth the wait. And, they serve food in a buffet style downstairs if you are impatiant and normally harass the staff, or just want a fast and easy way to choose what you eat by what looks the best. The decor is amazing, the people are nice, the food is GOOD.

The king of chicken fell flat on its beak. Chicken was terrible and meal was way below par in general.

Zhenders has amazing food! The chicken is really good! It's not dry or anything! The soups and all the other sides they bring out for your meal are amazing, and no one can forget about their ice cream for dessert!

This place has delicious chicken and noodles and drinks and bread and it was a little pricey but overall with the old timey colonial atmosphere and everything, it was worth the money

We ate at Z Chefs with a large group of friends during our Rally for Frankenmuth with JCI Michigan. The service was fast and the food incredible. It was enjoyed by both the kids and adults. I had some kielbasa and mac and cheese and it was great!

Everything was good except the prime rib, it was Raw.

We had 5 for New year's Eve and, it was The BEST New years Eve. The service was just the Best. We have already said we will be back next year!!!!
