Food good. cafeteria price and service good. Main dining room price high but service very good.

I loved it here. Great atmosphere for my kid. Lots of slides for big and small alike. The pizza was surprisingly really good and the breakfast was amazing. It's a great family fun place!!! The option to add dinner and breakfast to your stay was the reason I booked here instead of the Bavarian inn. The dinner it's self was amazing. A true experience!

Bland food served by people who seem to wish you weren't there.

This is a great place for families. We had a party of 14 and we all had the family-style chicken dinner. The service was impeccable. The meal includes appetizers, soup, and a nice variety of side dishes. Everything was fresh and seasoned just right.

Good food,good service. You get a ton of food almost to much alot of our went to waste.Thr flavor was amazing on almost all the dishes.Overall a good experience

So Awesome. My Mom and visited to see the lights and went to Zehnder's gift shop for special Gifts she wanted for my sister. As normal, my sister was very disrespectful to her own Mom and the entire family. Including Jesus. Love her anyways and pray for her always.

Friendly staff, wonderful experience, lots of little shops to checkout downstairs. I recommend skipping the formal dining upstairs and getting the cafeteria style downstairs. It's the same food but much better priced and less wait. Still, if you haven't had a standard chicken dinner upstairs, then it's a must try.

Went to Zenders , with all our kids . . They don't hand out straws anymore. . Which is great but my son who is handicapped needs one to drink his chocolate milk, our server went out of his way to get him a pasta straw . . . So nice . . . I appreciate that more that anything. . Server was Nick . . . Great food not much of a wait and great service . Thank you Zenders. .

Extremely over priced. Instant potatoes. Bland friend chicken. Best part of the noodles was the bread crumbs. Very disappointed at the cost vs the hype.

My family and i were amazed at this restaurant the food is out of this world and i hope tour ready to eat when you arrive cause they give you alot of food and i liked everything even things i didnt even like before .We cant stop talking about it to our friends and family and we are already planning a trip back .We love everything about it and i think you will too.

I love the chicken and the staff is always friendly. The wait time has never been an issue and we love ordering pies from the bakery. You just have to remember to order them a day ahead so that they have what you want.

Haven't been to Zehnder's since I was a kid. My husband had a free dinner for his birthday and we decided to come here. I got the same thing and wow!!! Everything was delicious!! I can't get over how much food they serve you and it's all you can eat! We're definitely going to start making this a tradition. The staff is friendly, the food is great, Frankenmuth is a romantic little town. We loved it!

The family style chicken and perch dinners were delicious. Michelle quickly brought our drinks, salads and sides... so we were feasting within minutes of being seated. Everything super fresh and tasty. Looking forward to coming back soon.

To avoid lines for the restaurant, we went to Z Chef's cafe. Very good food.

Reservations were not correct. Requested main dining hall and they tried seating us in the basement. Waitress was slow. Especially considering all 10 of us had the buffet.

I was very disappointed in this place since it's so much hype about how good the chicken is. My chicken was dry the breading was falling off and it was flavorless no seasoning at all the coleslaw on the other hand was excellent

Arrived at noon and made a reservation for the cow patch room. We arrived at the time given, 7:45, and they said it was full and the wait would be at least anot hour. No apologies from them!! We sat where they had available and our server was awful...saw the manager and he couldn't give a rats ass! Next time bavariann MN restaurant!

VERY VERY expensive for OK food. $26.95 for a chicken dinner. Big Boy would charge $9.95.

Great family restaurant. AYCE chicken dinners served family style are the bomb. Go there whenever we are in Frankenmuth. We have never been disappointed!

Great restaurant with history and hospitality! Loved our experience, my only recommendation/concern would be to cut the straws and stryfoam out! We did notice they asked IF we wanted straws which was nice as we didn t.

Food is good just a little cramp down on the bottom floor

Best Easter food I've ever had. Go here every year for the Easter buffet and it definitely doesn't disappoint.

Home style family meals, ayce. Really busy during the vacation seasons.

The town of Frankenmuth is really nice. But for the restaurants, they're really overpriced

Service and ambiance is good. But the food and value for money is bad to meh.

All of the employees were clueless and choraled many people into the wrong lines. Stood in the front of the line for an hour and a half. It smelled great but just put up a reservation only sign or something. Horrible experience and I didn't even get to sit down.

Great family style chicken dinner, or order separately. They have a good gluten free menu, including chicken.

We went for the 1st time tonight. We were really excited because we have always heard such good things. However, the food was not very good. You get plenty of it but when it doesn't taste good it doesn't really matter. The chicken was dry and bland. Pretty much everything was bland. My husbands vanilla ice cream tasted like they used spoiled milk to make it. The service was great and the ambience was great. But for the price you pay it wasn't worth it.

We heard so much of Zehnders that we just had to try it. We only had a 40 minute wait; when we were leaving, we some say they were waiting for two hours! They are famous for fried chicken, and we were disappointed that our pieces were cold and dry. Everything else on the buffet was fine, and now we can say that we've been there.

The food was cold and bland. Everything has the look and texture of reheated cafeteria food. Staff was fine, but this place needs a major overhaul.

I love the chicken at this place. The All You Can Eat is enough for 3 normal meals.

2nd time visiting from Arizona. I love the old-timey feel of the decor, and the food is soul-warming. Every visit I have to Michigan requires a trip every time.

The restaurant is delicious, the typical food is fried chicken but we order onion soup (the best one I ever tried since today), cream chicken in puff pastry bread and a Moscow mule for drink. I love our selection. Also they bring a lot of sides that are delicious (cole salad, bread, butter, jam, etc). Totally worth it!

How can you not go here? Yes, a little pricey but you only live once. I think it's a great value with the variety of food with the chicken dinner. People come from all over the world to dine here. It's a great experience! Sign up for the rewards program, free chicken dinner during your birthday month. You must sign up at least a month in advance in order to receive it. Great bakery downstairs and small Cafe that you can order smaller to go portions of all the things served upstairs. Must say that my favorite is definitely the buttered noodles... Sometimes I make the drive just to get a container of those to go. I always request that they package the breadcrumbs separately. The Pate is delicious and so is the stollen. We had a great time. The food was really good and so was our service! Our experience last year wasn't as good so they sent us a gift card. So glad we came back and tried it again!! We will be back!
