God used YWAM to change my life. This Christian community is extremely dedicated to serving the local community of Fulton in Richmond VA. The neighborhood would not be the same without people like Ms. Thelma and Jesse who serve, serve and serve with one purpose, to love people like Jesus loves us all. I highly recommend a DTS or other mission program through this community.
I ve known of YWAM Richmond for years, but as I ve gotten to know the base more, I ve discovered something truly special. The team of folks are genuine, and are investing their lives into serving their community and beyond. The base itself is a beautiful location, set up on a hill in Fulton overlooking the valley between it and Church Hill, creating a space to rest and connect with God. And the community meals are DELICIOUS.
The YWAM Richmond base is anointed, filled with dedicated staff and eager students from all over the world - all having something in common - wanting to know, love and serve Jesus better. I always sense the presence of the Holy Spirit each time I am on campus and the changed lives that come in and out of the schools operating out of the base are proof of His presence!
They do a lot of community based programs. The new facility for social distancing is beautiful. The staff is very gracious and they also take the time to pray with you and for you.
I love the way they serve our community and are always ready to help out the neighborhood.

Having been to the YWAM Richmond several times over the last decade and more I can honesty say when you set your feet on the grounds of this ministry you will know you are where you are suppose to be. The staff is very welcoming and the events are life changing. To put it in one word, "Awesome." We know every time we visit we will leave having been touched in a special way. Ywam Richmond is life changing. I've been a part of many youth mission organizations but coming to this place was different. They exhibit a real Chris like attitude in the way they serve, live, and love one another. It has been a blessing to have been a part of this team for 5 years.
