Beware of Duty Free, especially when you have cash...

Beware of Duty Free, especially when you have cash left in local currency and you buy by topping up the card charge. Twice the same day in two different funds, while taking the cash, they "forgot" to deduct it from the amount charged on the card. After the protest they returned the 15 euros in the first case, in the second case they "forgot" to deduct 4 euros, which they did not prevent due to boarding the plane.

Staff is friendly, but there are a lot of inefficiencies which cause a lot of frustration, but could be easily avoided. Simple things such as directing people in single rows rather than multiple ones, would reduce confusion and improve efficiency.

Avoid! The security check is literally at the gate, so you won't be allowed to bring any drinks on board, even those bought in the tax-free. The security staff are also very rude and poorly trained, so if you can, put everything in your checked luggage (and hope it doesn't get stolen).
I have no idea how anyone can give this aweful airport 5 stars, let alone publicly claim to love it. Heathrow Airport used to be the airport I disliked the most, but Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport has shown me it's possible to be even worse than Heathrow.
Prepare for a confusing experience and rude people.
(Belgrade itself and the people there were nice though. Just this airport sucks)

Nothing wrong with this small/mid size airport but one travel tip if flying internationally: keep your liquids on you until you board! You pass through passport control first and then enter the access hallways ti the gates. THEN as you go to get into the gates you pass security. A quirky unique system that allows you to keep your drinks longer!!

I recommend avoiding this airport as a connection at all costs. I flew from Amsterdam to Bulgaria, connecting through Belgrade (roundtrip) - we missed our connection by over an hour on the first leg and just barely made it on the way back. Staff was uninformed, and even rude at times.

I fly through this airport around 30-40 times per year, for many years now. I landed on Tuesday evening, disembarked at 23.40 and at 23.47 I was in a cab. It s like this every time, absolutely brilliant!

Just posting to say that you can get a simcard at Hudson News once you get out of the international arrivals because it s not very obvious. I took a Telenor sim for 500 dinar, with 5gb data, there may be other options. This seems to be 3 or 4 times cheaper than the people selling sims in the baggage area. Also the guy at the shop was very very nice. Recommended.

Our passports were checked in front of us at the Nikola Tesla airport, which is 30 minutes away from the city center. Then we passed the passport control. After these steps you can go to get your suitcases. Do not believe it, although the airport is high, the rates in the center are higher. We continued to make money from a machine we found at the airport. In this airport, landings and boarding passes into and out of the same area. So input-output is not different like Saw or AHL. At the airport exit, bus number A1 takes you to the center. (The fare is 300 Dinar - ticket is taken from the driver.) You can also go to the taxiway. Taxi fares are fixed according to the area, our hotel was staying in Zone 2 at 1800 dinars.

There is free shuttle service from Atlas Tesla Airport to the city center. Following the landing, you will see the building exit on the right.

For the return, we move from certain points of the city to three hours before departure (website stops are available)

Transportation, taxi, minibus, bus etc. you don't need to search and make accounts.

The airport has an average service quality.

I read these compliments for the airport, so I wonder if I'm in the right place. The airport is a circus. Calcutta- Europe. Just not to offend Calcutta.Red "kilometer", check on 4 salter. As I've been writing this, I've been waiting for an hour and a half, and it's reaching the middle. I'm thinking of taking the bus to Crete ...
Ps. Can it be rated 0?

If you are leaving, the check takes place at each gate. If you are arriving, it is not clear where to go to collect your luggage and get out (you have to go down one floor with escalators, check documents and then enter the baggage hall). Disorganized and poorly structured.

DO not take taxi from arrival area. Taxi charge 25-30 euros. Shuttle bus for 300 RSD or approx 3 dollars takes you to Slavia Center. Wait for it just outside the arrival area. Trying to improve this airport but still a shock when I come home from US. Airport is small and easy to go about.

Say goodbye to the Balkans at Nikola Tesla Airport...

Say goodbye to the Balkans at Nikola Tesla Airport ( ) in Belgrade. The international airport of the Serbian capital is named after Tesla, and there are also shadows on the 100-dollar bill of the country.

The father of AC-Tesla, a pioneering mad scientist whose title is "Austrian Empire - a Serbian-American inventor, physicist, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, chemist and futurist in the autonomous kingdom of Croatia." "." Therefore, when traveling to Croatia and Serbia, the team leader must introduce him. And I also want to thank him, because he is a good friend of lazy people, remote control system radio, driverless dream car... patent invention is too much!

The P.S. movie 'The Current War' is the story of Edison, Westinghouse and Tesla. When the kerosene lamp was blown out in the dark, Edison lit the world; even if the opponent's name was over-the-counter, Mr. Westinghouse won a great victory in the current, and Tesla was recognized as the man closest to God. They are eager to sell not just the bulbs, but the light. Its invention was to change the world's alternative revolution, leaving behind an epoch-making world of scientific and technological heritage. Conclusion: The world is the ultimate winner.

When landing at the airport in the zone where lugg...

When landing at the airport in the zone where luggage was bought, someone stole my jacket because I left the jacket for 10 minutes, when I wanted to return camera shots, they told me that I had to call the police, the employees were completely disinterested in helping me, which is desperately.
During the summer with AirSerbi, everything had to be paid, I did not have a dinar or the euro, because I came from the USA and I only had a dollar, that was why I was not served coffee. Honestly to be it's a disgrace to AirSerbia, it's even more absurd that it was on the day they celebrated their 5th birthday, more precisely 26.10. 2018.
I was not in Serbia for a long time and I was lucky enough to be hungry and thirsty during the flight, to steal my jacket at the airport and that the total employees are indifferent.
When I came home and opened the luggage, I noticed that I was missing something, I do not want to say that someone took it from AirSerbia employees, but looking at all the services I can rightly doubt that this is a real situation.
I advise everyone to avoid flight and contact with AirSerbia in any way, because the service is desperate. I'm flying and I have contact with other airlines, but I can rightly say that AirSerbia is convincingly the worst. I'm also a Serb then, if anyone reads this, he can assume what I had experience and it would be logical to defend AirSerbie's interest, but I can not simply because of all the experiences.
Nice greeting of AirSerbio and I want to never again have contact with you!

Nikola Tesla International Airport (BEG) is the largest airport in Serbia and is located 18km from Belgrade in the municipality of Surcin.
Belgrade Airport is equipped to the highest world standards. The immediate environment of the airport has four precision aircraft guidance systems (VOR, DME). Both runway approaches are equipped with precision ILS-type radio navigation equipment and guidance radar, as well as other radio navigation equipment (VOR, DME and the like) that ensures safe flight in bad weather.

Don't get on the black market taxis, so you're supposed to be using the taximeter on the phone, but you're expecting a charge of more than three times the size of the car, take the cars with the taxi letter on the car, the last two letters on the plate are TX. (Pile-driving haramzadenin BG 1594 GG and "taximeter" (about 4000 Dinars))

Since we arrived at Belgrade Airport early, we eat up at a self-service restaurant in the lobby before departure. Spacious bench seats are connected to airport free wifi, and there are few people in the first place, so it is comfortable. The freshly made sandwich was not good, but the Caesar salad is delicious with grilled chicken and bacon on order. The price is cheaper at 870 dinar with a cheap Serbian self, but it is a good size to share with two people because of the large amount of meat.

It was 1200 dinar from the vicinity of the old central station to the airport by CAR: GO (Belgrade uber white tak dispatch app).
Cargo is recommended if the A1 airport shuttle is 300 dinars per person and there is a suitcase.
Credit card registered in Japan.
It was easy to use smartphones in Serbia and Bulgaria with Stoke Mobile eSIM. However, it is 3G.

A small airport, but functional. It has all the necessary amenities, but nothing beyond that. I use his services once every three months and every time we see progress, renew and modernize it. The ground staff is ok, but it does not give the impression of sufficient competence, unlike the old Jat cadre who (at least to me) instilled confidence.

Maybe it's not the biggest, maybe it's not the most functional ... but it's definitely for me. We travel a lot with little children. Never and ever at other airports we have not experienced so much kindness towards families with children. We never waited with children in the ranks, everything was very efficient and we had every advantage with children. Parents with young children and babies are extremely well understood what I want to say. On two occasions, sincic got a chocolate banana from a police officer on passport control. And, of course, every time I come to Belgrade Airport I see great progress. Go ahead! Belgrade deserves to have at least 15 million passengers annually! I have the impression that many sabotage the airport and behave harshly. Personally, I am convinced that some of the foreigners are emerging in the newly renovated C-gate toilets. Such ones need heavy fines, not to think that everything can be done in Serbia, and they can not be heard in their countries.

You probably won't be shot but don't ask for anything and do not expect anything ... The unavoidable ground stuff - is not there to make your arrival or departure a pleasant experience. I guess they're there because they have to put on uniforms and show up for work but the anger, arogancy, rudness, blutness ... In a country whith high unemployment you would imagine that anyone having a job would strive for excellence in customer relation every minute on the job. Bt they're all obviously there becuase they have connections with political establishments that emplyed them and their position and emplyment certainly does not depend on customer satissfaction. You as a passenger are unpleasant necessity that will eventuall go away this way or the other.
Unfortunatelly there's no alternative when it comes to air-travel.
Another one - on their side - so why would they care ...

Pretty much the rudest airport in Europe. While the hospitality in the city has been impressive, the behavior of the airport personnel is shockingly arrogant and impolite. Even with flight personnel what was a first to see Airport to be avoided in general. (I allow myself with 200 flights a year on 5 continemtssto to at least comment what is or isn't acceptable)

Clean and tidy airport. I use it about 6/8 times a year and everything is always up to standards. One thing to improve ASAP is the arivals area. Once you leave the airport the outdoors area is so old, the ceiling is rusty and falling apart and the smoking area ashtrays are pre-historic! Please renovate the arivals as well please!
