No responsible, no competent, no information available. Passport control is too slow, luggage is waiting for more than an hour. Complete disorganization. And all too expensive. And the passengers are waiting, who have paid dearly for it all.
It took me almost two hours to leave the airport building from the moment the plane landed. Shame.
It used to be that way.

It is well organized, starting from checking for flight and handing over luggage to passport control. Recommendation for Air Serbia: work on a web checkin online application that does not have an intuitive interface and in the end you are not sure what you paid for, especially when booking a seat on the plane.

I was surprised as to how efficient this airport is. Staff is polite, professional and speaks English well. There are two things that I don't really like about BEG but they are minor so I will leave it at 5 stars. First, there is an additional security check point right before entering the airplane. I don't see a point in that and no other airport I've been, has that. Second, no smoking section at all, smoking is permitted outside only.

The review does not refer to the airport itself, but to the lack of efficiency, rudeness and omissions in relation to AirSerbia's clients, especially when it comes to compensation for damage caused by their omission. I will gladly avoid their services in the future!

Terrible air quality in all public areas at the check-in desks. Visited on 27.7.2018. They want to spare money for electricity by recirculating air, without changing it. Colling it is expensive...The Airport has a new owner since this year, a French company. Before it was much better air.

People are funny. Compared to 16 devices for self-reporting on a flight, none has worked. I booked 5 days before the flight place with more legroom, gave me a usual place. Okay, people are patient, while Americans are playing over the line. Terrible.

Horrible security system. They wanted to copy the Berlin Tegel style, but does not work.

As you can see on the photo 3 gates have 1 security check, and it is a complete mess. They do not announce the boarding, so you need to look all the time.

We stood 15min before the 3 gates, because even though gate was open, the lady from air serbia was late and could not check our documents. After waiting like idiots, they all let us in without check in of documents in front of the gate....

Even the employees look confused....

The most horrible experience I've ever had at an international airport. Staff who work at the international airport do not speak English, aren't informative and are rude.
The corrupted custom officers try to pin you for anything that looks expensive in your suitcase before you're able to declare what you have.
They hope for you to bribe them after telling you how much tax they want you to pay, however if you don't, they will confiscated all items until your departure out of Serbia.
Our short stay in Serbia was to attend a wedding, the custom officers confiscated our clothing/accessories that we were going to wear to the wedding. We had to then re-purchase clothing/accessories (rather do this than pay money for their pockets).
The custom officers then accused us of taking photos of them (which was not true) so they called the police to investigate our phones, even after they themselves investigated our phones and found no photos of them.
They have wasted our time and ruined our short stay.
Before our departure we need to organise for a shipping agency to process paperwork for the release of our confiscated items and pay a fee for this, which we only became aware of after being told by the embassy, not being told by the custom officers.
All the stress, waste of time and money could have been avoided if the custom officers were legit and could speak English.
A review and cleanup of corruption at the airport needs to be done immediately to avoid unnecessary situations like this.

The total disorganization from the passage through the passageway to the plane enters and is pretty slow, even though the staff is overwhelming and seemingly ridiculed. And the toilet room rating is 1 out of 10, catastrophic.

Small, clean, convenient airport. Boarding and leaving the plane - on the "sausage". Customs passed quickly and without problems. At the entrance from the bus stop there is a kiosk with local pastries. Tasty and inexpensive. The customs area is large, with lots of good shops and good free wi-fi. We scored tasty inexpensive food in the city, bought coffee in a local cafe and had a good dinner, saving a lot. At the airport there are automatic scissors, where you can buy dinars, but the course at them is extremely disadvantageous (we had 1.2). I recommend going further to the exit and in the green zone in the exchanger the rate is better. We had 1.4. It is worth changing there a bit, getting to the Moscow Hotel, near which the bank had a rate of 1.7. That is, for 100 rubles 170 dinars. Travel by 72 bus from the airport to Zelenogo Venaz costs 150 dinars. This is the usual price for a ticket in Belgrade. Payment to the driver. A couple of times the ticket machine from the driver failed and he did not take money from us. It is worth noting that the controllers in Belgrade are very loyal, and if they hear Russian, they refuse to check the ticket and say goodbye in a friendly way.

The holes in the airport, the services, the officers, how kind they come to me to get back on the plane right away, and sometimes it is necessary to clean the dust from the roofs of those 500L's :)

Airport as a facility is alright, it has everything you need as well as the free WiFi provided by several providers.

However, it seems that problems occur along with bad weather conditions (beware of the fog and snow) when they aren't 100% prepared. In that case expect (long) delays.

Need to work on people skills. Educate your staff that passengers are King. And not vice versa. Also the security checks are terrible. One door for two gates and boarding at the same equals disaster!!! Flying business?? Who cares? No one!!! Your luggage comes out last and when you want to pass the security you still wait on the same time so don't get a chance to board first. Otherwise a good place to be ona few months now that the French have taken over.

Horrible customer service. Arrogant police who are not smiling nor telling good morning or hello.Arrivals are absolutely unprofessional.Group of security staff at the exit randomly stopping passengers to check their luggage which is already screened at departure destination and with baggage guys behind the scene when airplanes arrive. Horrible and unprofessional behaviour. Positive:Airport is small and functional and things moving fast. But since its Belgrade they can do something more to improve facilities. But what's the worst are the people who work there arrogant, impolite, unprofessional, not smiley, behaving like a gang.

Progress has been made in the development of the airport over the years. Of course it can do much better. Belgrade as a capital deserves it. Passport control on arrivals is perhaps the most urgent thing to do. Checking speeds, passport controls as well as boarding are faster than in Rome, for example. Free shop well stocked. And the presence of the "cafeteria" is commendable

A level that I don't think is an international flight.
The information staff leaves the seat to listen to and the ATM is broken and will not return my card.
The airport staff, the ATM bank and the police did not respond to this matter, and when I came to Serbia, I had the worst image.
Especially the female staff in gray uniforms were discriminatory and the worst.
But the city people were much better than the airport people.
When I come to Serbia in the future, I will try to land even if it takes time.
It seems that you can make a high-speed rail.

Airport is fine. Customs was simple and efficient. Make sure you know how you will get to the city from the airport before you get here- the "taxi sharks" are waiting for those confused-looking tourists. We took the bus to city center then walked a bit to our Airbnb. We also downloaded Car GO app and it was a lifesaver in Belgrade. Their alternative to Uber.

Nikola Tesla Airport is my pleasant surprise !! It may not be like the ones I visited, but it is well designed, so it has a rich and diverse offer. There, along with boutiques where you can find interesting little things, you can have great coffee and different beverages ... everyone is available to travelers and they want to make their time more enjoyable, they are kind and with a wide smile that fascinates ... Bravo!

It is not nice that the main international airport, which represents the country, has the dirtiest toilets in the country at the exit of the "Arrivals".
Some employees could learn a bit of manners and kindness, but it's still a picture of the country.

Standard airport. Lots of check-in counters, lots of controls, shops ... But there are plenty of vending machines and coffee to help with any flight delay.
When arriving at the airport, he would point out two things: first, cash change machines located in several locations that certainly speed things up when crowded (there is also a normal exchange office, of course); secondly, taxi info desk - come and say the address and get a note with the amount to be paid to the taxi driver (makes things easier).
