Yugoslav Air Transport Review

Normal airport, a little boring. The currency used is dinars and euros. We had dollars, it was possible to change, but there were no people willing to help from the airport staff. The police stopped us, asked us to show our passports and interrogated us, they beat us in the 90s.

Compact and well organized. As it is not very large, you can get quickly from one terminal to another

They took over 500s from my husband's account for the jeep we rented, and when we came to retrieve it, they said we couldn't because they didn't accept that card. The same company we paid online with those same cards now says no we can take the jeep and not even get the money back. And they accepted the money from the account but we can't get our money back, because no one is answering the number. The main number of this company is the very top in Australia, which we find out after 100 calls to various banks here and in America. The scariest thing is that no one here speaks English at the airport. Neither the chief of staff nor the "airport police" would NEVER. NO ONE LIVES TO ENGLISH WITH MY HUSBAND! They hang up my husband's phone saying it's because we don't know English. They literally stole our money. And about salter grandma girls not to talk about, you roll your eyes, they are all insolent, cheeky and slow. They should all be fired.

Letela sam za Frankfurt I bio je red putnika koji su imali problem sa formularima, osoblje im je svima pomoglo, re avali su svaki izazov strpljivo i profesionalno i potrudili se da svaki putnik u e na let. Gospo a na alteru 211 je bila divna, re ila je I moj slu aj i zahvaljuju i njoj ja sam uspe no i sre no stigla do svoje destinacije, iako je imala puno pravo da me skine sa leta i da moram leteti slede eg dana. Clean airport including toilets. Has a handful of local shops and cafes as well as Hudson News and Illy. Food is expensive - about $10 for two coffees and a doughnut for example. Some places take euros. There is also a small section of the National Museum to spend a few minutes in. Staff throughout the airport are quite brusque. The biggest problem is that the WiFi is limited to one hour only! None of the shops/cafes seem to have their own WiFi. To make it worse we could not even pay the advertised 5 euros for extra WiFi use (some sort of prepaid card is needed that nobody in the airport knew about). They have plenty of seating but only a few charging ports. There are two airport lounges and one of them can be accessed for 35-45 euros for 3 hours. One other issue is the security check at the gate which others have mentioned.

Half of the bags out of my travel bag disappeared. Has anyone ever done this anymore?

Simple, organized airport .. Easy to navigate .. Service staff ..

AVOID THIS AIRPORT.

Staff needs training. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE TSA... One in particular, grab my backpack opened it without asking me made a mess inside throw away the water that was given to me in the Serbian plane.... I didn't care at all about that..but why do you have to be so rude?? I had my backpack checked before but it was always followed by the question "May I open it?" I don't mind a check at all. In fact makes me feel more safe knowing that the TSA's are doing a detailed job...but to do it in a very rude, arrogant way.. making me feel like he is doing me a favor letting me go ... is just not right. I understand that they are not educated...but they can be professional at least. After all they do represent the country culture. If a supervisor is reading this I am willing to go in details with the name of the TSA just reply in private email. ...I honestly think they need to travel just to see how other TSA's act with passengers.

Modern, clean. Check-in atrocious. 15 counters for the local airline, and a handful for the rest. And don't think web check in will make it easier because it won't.

I spent a fair amount of time in Serbia virtually incident free which was amazing for any international trip however this airport did it for me. The staff at the check in counter were abrupt and snappy, the staff at the cafe near gate 3-7 were pretty rude with myself and other english speaking customers. I understand language barriers are frustrating but everyone is trying their best. The toilets floors were wet, and dirty as a result. Security clearance staff were ok.

The "lady" at the passport control freaked out and insulted and made fun of me and my girlfriend several times,because my id had a small cut on the plastic around it. She even threatend to send us back to Athens, like if we ware some kind of terrorists trying to enter her glorious country. What a way to say welcome to tourists. Shame on her. Ruined our whole first day.

Usually would get 3 stars but 4 today for being nice and quiet ;-)

THE WORST AIRPORT that I have done in all my life the staff, the salesmen, security guards, the hostess, maintenance agent were all really rude to the arrival for the stopover person to welcome us no information and no indication effort to speak in English he speaks that their language limits he will insult you because you disturb them in their work he does not like strangers than their race to them and feels it.

We did not get out of the plane 10 policeman in front of the exit, we asked for our identity papers and searched all of us, EXCEPT THE SERBIAN WHO HAD THE RIGHT TO PASS BEFORE EVERYONE WITHOUT CONTROL.

The airport and very dark and dirty it looks like a prison no food and relaxation point no place to sit embarkation start 30 minutes before the flight and you would be locked in a small non-air conditioned room with other passengers all heap one on the other like animals.

I do not advise you to stop there if you value your life and health must be strong mentally.

Everything is well organized. Make sure you arrive early so everything can be done on time.

Nice little airport about about half an hour from the city center 20 kilometers with good connection to the city everything is nice and clean well organized with a few chargers to charge your device there are lots of shops and restaurants checking is good and fast and they have duty free shops

Tax-free shops before the security crossing in Belgrade. What about liquor and liquids bought? Linija A1 Airport Shuttle far too small for luggage and passengers and especially badly indicated whether from the airport or the train station .. Not really planned for tourists not speaking Serbian. Otherwise the staff whether it's customs or security is nice. We once arrived in Paris ironed the security controls .. How would we have done if we had bought liquids in Belgrade tax-free?

I'm in shock guys seriously. I was waiting for my next flight for 4 hours and there is a super small waiting area, so it was terrible experience.

The coffe is awful at illy coffee shop particulary. It is overrated and overpriced. The size of portion is not smal but tiny. Another coffee station close to the museum is making nice coffee although the price is not so much affordable.

The washrooms are clean. Almost all of the service people do not want to speak English.
It's a big deal to find a charge socket. But there is a charge station which doesnot work properly to lock your phone inside.

There is no healthy food. All the baked goods were terrible and overpriced.

So i wouldn't recommend my friends stay at this airport.

Small but nice. Nice ambience for an airport. Not like on a fairground. Clear and everything there, what you need. The staff is extremely friendly and the people helpful and accommodating. Had no problems there ....

It is unbelievable that a bottle of water cannot be brought into the zone after the control, which is quite normal in all European airports. Now I sit for almost 90 minutes and wait for the flight without being able to get to the water. This is uncivilized, not to mention what else.

The registrar (a woman) refused to register me. His cause was that my passport is not European, and that I have to wait until the end of the registration of the European passengers. She let me wait for more than an hour without any explanation. Finally, she told me it's over for the Europeans, we'll get you registered. She told me "Sorry for waiting", and I announced that I refuse her apology, and I will make a claim. In addition, security staff are rude, and people are not welcoming. At this airport, you will be treated according to your nationality. It was my first time in Serbia, and it will be the last.

Great Airport! And guys, if you are not a fig you do not understand how to connect wifi, then do not carry nonsense! THERE IS A SBBZONA NETWORK, CLICK AND GO TO THE WEBSITE, SELECT 30 MINES FOR FREE AND ENJOY WIFI!

If you are fling from "C" take care about yourself before the boarding. After you pass screening to your gate you have nothing - only toilets. No water even.

Pessimo The airport because it was 7:30 p.m. and there was no bar or restaurant until the next day. There are not even the service machines.

Nicely renovated space, with comfortable seating and a nook for mothers with young children.

Serbia stronk greatest airport in existence and would definitely go just for the airport.

It's time to expand. Just positive experiences. The only thing that strikes (in a negative sense) is the old defective information system. If you do not want to remove them, put any billboards over them. It'll be nicer.

Much has been done and improved! But toilets are horror! Some have been renovated but some seem to me from the time of Titus

The climate does not work when it is waiting on the plane, there is no place to sit. The ceiling fades away ... the loss is organized.

A small airport, but functional, has everything you need, the staff friendly, everything is clean, flights are on time, everything works even in winter if there is snow (the experience of five years ago). All in all, pure five :)

Well maintained and nice overall Airport. It got renovated and now has a very nice lounge area with chargers and chairs a plenty. The staff is polite and ready to answer questions, as this was my second time flying so kudos.

Note if you plan to visit Belgrade, please in advance ask your driver for the price and don t pay more then 20 ( 22$ ). I suggest looking for taxi companies that have an app and a company associated with them ( those are the ones that don t have plain white Taxi sign ), or use Serbian Uber alternative.

The very friendly staff at Nikola Tesla Airport itself deserves a clean 5 airline staff from the captain to the flight attendant 5 !!!!

I travel for 12 years. I always had a great opinion about the staff and the airport. Unfortunately, things have changed. The staff at the counters in all spheres became unkindly and cautiously, and the prices so much jumped that I really can not believe how much. I understand that airports are more expensive .. But for 250% more price, I can not justify it! I do not know who took over the business. But things were rapidly spreading here.

A small airport about 20km from Belgrade. Getting to and from the airport can be a bit tricky. Do use the taxi stand at the airport to get into the city for a set price. It's a good and safe deal. The airport has your usual assortment of More

The airport and infrastructure are good but the staff behaviour is really bad and arrogant. They see every person like a terrorist during the security check. I once agent went there for my transit. The security person responsible for frisking literally abused me.

it is well organized, and an illiterate person would cope; he just needs to ask for information or someone from security ... security at the best level.

The airport is small but per world standards but some additional services are missing such as food court or mobile chargers near seats...
The staff is nice and professional, there were very helpful.

A phenomenal place, a significant improvement in the provision of airport services, they are getting closer to some of the highly average levels and appearance of far larger and more famous airports. Just a small complaint about the price of parking could go a little lower in my opinion ............................... .................................................. .............................................

Nice airport, easy to navigate, clean. It seems to have exceeded its capacity for a long time, so I hope it will be expanded in the near future. It is well connected with city transport and taxi transport with an arrival terminal. It can not be said that there is a big airport, but it is us, and Belgrade's pride ...

Comparing to other international airport this is smaller one but well maintained, taxi service providers charges as per their wish especially be careful during traveling on weekends they will charge double or triple than normal fare.
If you are going for departure please try to eat before check-in area inside very less options for food.

Ok ... free shop too expensive ... like cafes ... but that's the case at most other airports ... gates in the old catastrophe like toilets ...

There are some issues with this airport. Some stuff not friendly looking but ok.
What is a really bad process design is the security check. It is placed before boarding. First, only one of two check stains were operating while but queue lined up. Second, priority boarding passengers skip the security queue. This is most annoying as I cannot pay to just sit around and come on time for boarding. I got to stand in line and let all priority boarding pass first. Usually I wouldn't find priority boarding worth the money but here it might be worth it.

A lot has been done to be top notch but something is missing

A nice, pretty, quite small airport, I didn't perceive a different attitude towards the Turks.

security is just before the gate, so no chance to buy water for the plane. This is totally insane.
Very small and very overpriced for what you get.
