A fantastic unique building like a Spanish or Italian Plaza has been transported to Yorkshire. Unfortunately since the revamp there seems to be fewer but more expensive shops. I used to like the market and the bohemian vibe it had before but it's still an enjoyable afternoon.

An absolute treasure of a place! A fantastic place to visit whether you're local in Yorkshire or from elsewhere. It has been newly renovated and brought to life by the council and is absolutely beautiful. There are so many different little shops and bars to visit! Its a must visit. From sweet shops to Gin bars and libraries to emporiums. Everyone is so friendly.

Popped in to the Piece Hall for a bit of fun and laughter. Nice place to have a walk around with a few shops scattered about. This looks to be a great place for holding events - the day we went there were various street performers and bits and pieces going on, it cartainly seemed to grab the attention of those who were there!!

It should be noted that a fair few of the units did not seem to have anything in them as of yet - but might be worth another visit when it has re-estabished itself a bit more. Dont let this put you off if in the area, its still worth a wonder...!

I think this is great since it has been updated. My son loves the little step fountains and like most kids loves playing in them. The shops are lovely to look around, and we go nearly every time we go into town. There are some great events on too which is always fun

Went here to watch the Tour of Yorkshire grand depart. Great picturesque location beautiful restored. Multiple levels with lift access for shops, restaurants and bars. Large central area for events. The amount of Toilets in each corner are the only tiny issue if I had to be nitpicking.

We went to visit the Piece Hall for the Carol Service on Xmas Eve, the place was packed with families and was a fab atmosphere. The only down fall was that no one could hear the choir as there was no microphones for them. It was so disappointing as it was obvious how much hard work had gone into the planning. Such a shame! Hopefully next year the sound will be much better.

The place is looking amazing , love the lay out , the small shop are amazing everyone is like an Aladdin cave never know what you are going to find . The atmosphere is relaxed within and the kids enjoy playing there and a good choice if food and coffee outlet to choice from.

Had an extensive renovation, we love it, it is just a pity all the grass was removed. There is a couple of water features that the kids love playing in on a nice day. There are many kids there, but unfortunately as there is no grass to play on any more I have seen quite a few skinned knees. The shots are nice, small, local traders, so great for keeping the local economy. It is very beautiful and worth a trip just to see it. It is very close to Eureka so if you have young kids on a warm day, bring your splash wear and make a day of it. I would advise to any food in Halifax, which is just by the top exit, before heading to Eureka though. There are plenty off eateries very close if you don't fancy one of the cafes in piece hall.

Ok

The Piece Hall is brilliant and a must visit location, great space with an amazing building that has been carefully restored and enhanced with the modern landscaping. Great shops, eating and heritage interpretation. Also excellent events programme so make sure to check their website for what's on.
