A gem of a historic building mixing old (1776) and new... love visiting The Piece Hall when ever I'm in Halifax

Hallelujah Calderdale Council and et al get something completely right. The renovation and modernisation of the Piece Hall and bottom side area is a Joy. I've travelled extensively in Europe and this holds up there with the very best I've seen. As this develops it will become a must visit when ever in the North of England. Congratulations to all involved and keep up the good work. This is only the beginning. ....

Really nice after the recent renovation. Plenty of shops and cafes, very clean

Went to the antique roadshow , a lovely place and the ice cream is delicious.

Interesting old building but needs a better range of interesting shops, like they used to have.

What the Piece Hall trust have done to redevelop the Piece Hall is fantastic. Plenty of independent stores to browse and many more are due to open in a couple of months including a couple of restaurants.

I think it's clever that this links to the Square Chapel, the new Library and the Industrial Museum. I think this quarter on the town centre could be a real hive of activity.

A fabulous landmark building, tastefully renovated to keep its history and bring a modern user friendly space. Great Christmas entertainment and atmosphere.

What a great place to go for a day out lots of little shops to browse in, bars, coffee shops and lots of eating places and it s dog friendly too. The staff are helpful and polite. At the minute you have to social distancing and a one way system.

Nice place full of expensive shops with nice things in. If you like that sort of thing you will love it here.

Fantastic space. Great entertainment and fab shops. Very friendly and helpful staff, lots of sanitisers if needed.

Not really worth the visit as the 'improvements' are horrible a few trendy but overpriced shops that's all there is now!

Renovation has really Improved the piece hall. Still needs more shops - not many here at the moment. Great installation art attraction here this weekend.

A great place to just sit and "be". The renovations are impressive. Lots of local outlets selling a variety of unique and interesting products. The Piece Hall makes Halifax a destination in itself, besides all the other local attractions.

Visited just after reopening and 60% of shops empty. We were so disappointed as no atmosphere and centre is dreadful as it needs an installation or sculptures

Lovely wide open space with wheelchair access.Lifts to all floors.Good shopping in the various shops... Clothes, crystals and food

The Piece Hall is an amazing building, but most of its units have yet to be let. The few businesses that have moved in don't give me confidence that they will entice the sorts of artisan, arts and craft businesses that would give me reason for a return visit. I hoped for more and left disappointed.

Very interesting place. Nice shops and visitor friendly. Plenty of seating.

Sorry, you've spoilt it! Where are the beautiful cobbles and grass? Now it's just out of character grey stone and dangerous steps?
Only good thing. . It's pretty at night when it's all lit up.

Lovely inspiring place with amazing restoration. Lots to see eat drink and buy but a shame that the doors to the lovely exhibition and the disabled toilet open outwards making wheelchair access tricky unless a member of the public leaps forwards to assist. Such is a problem with a Grade 1 listed building and a grade1 tourist attraction. If you are disabled visit and enjoy.

Beautiful setting and some interesting independent shops. Sat and drank a lovely glass of red wine in the sunshine

It's got a good modern cute vibe in a medium town with lovely cafes,bars and nice little unique shops

Have revisited and added an extra * as it appears they have improved since my visit, with nearly all the units now let. Excellent and full of variety

Not many shops. Middle paving doesn't really go with the traditional stone build
