Great place for the whole family. Excellent range of individual shops and restaurants, and on some days activities in the central courtyard. The fascinating history is well explained in the visitor centre's well-designed exhibition. We easily spent a few hours here.

Saw this on the Antiques Roadshow and decided we wanted to see it. It's a bit smaller than I expected but still magnificent. The public realm works in the centre work really well and the water features are wonderful. Lots of nice shops etc and cafes. Can't wait to visit when it's nicer weather

Tour was more of a talk as we walked around the quadrangle. Interesting but pedestrian. Could do with 'beefing up' somehow. Although the information was certainly in depth. Worth a visit but a little lackluster.

The Piece Hall was buzzing with cameras, music, laughter, action and familiar faces... it was so good to see it open again. I talked to a couple who were 88 years young who were so happy to see the children enjoying the steps cascading with water. They were characters who had met at school, they also appreciated the new flooring as it was easier for them to walk on. I am looking forward to seeing it lit up at night.

Halifax is a beautiful city but the Piece Hall is still unexpectedly breathtaking. Like a Northern St Mark's Square (Venice). We were there on a summer weekend and enjoyed live music and a great rarebit (fancy cheese toast )

Work is still in progress, but even since the re-opening the improvements are visible and felt.

The new balcony stores compared to the old ones are a vast improvement, though it's a shame many of the previous occupents haven't returned. Thankfully, there's Chocolate Box :)

Always liked this place and am impressed with the refurbishment. Shame the bandstand wasn't kept and still not as many traders as there used to be. Good to see chap selling model cars is still going strong. Better now you can get food in there though don't leave out the rest of the town with the impressive old mills etc.

Excellent place to visit. Close to the railway station, easy access. Contains a variety of quality shops, highly recommend Loafers vinyl and coffee shop where you can buy new and old vinyl whilst being treated to your favourite tea or coffee. The Piece Hall is a must visit destination and with Christmas coming up you won't be disappointed.

Love coming here. All the bars are lovely and a evening with a drink here doesn't get much better it's so peaceful, extremely well lit to provide a calming atmosphere and the waterfall created sounds lovely. Definitely one of my favourite places to be in Halifax and a must visit!

Beautiful restorative/conservation work. Nice to see so many small shops open and a choice of bars/restaurants and cafes. I would highly recommend Elder for food - especially the Welsh rarebit with haddock and the treacle tart!

Newly refurbished. Lots of small independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants along with all kinds of entertainment. I think it's the only cloth hall left in Europe. It's now the centre piece of halifax.

The Piece Hall is architecturally stunning.. All units need to be let. Shops do need open to fulfil its potential.. But it must be the right shops. A lot of the shops were quite expensive. Maybe a nice place for a unique gift I had the priveledge of watching the Enchanting Chandiler... An amazing evening Many more evening events please... Or fun filled family days.

Beautiful place to see. Places to eat and to look around. It is easy walking distance from the main town centre. I popped into three or four shops on my brief visit and found the staff were friendly and relaxed.

Is a big and friendly place to explore. They have some shops, cafe and they do have some art lesson on the top build for everyone to join in. They do Christmas charity fare in the piece hall once a year to celebrate Christmas and do good things for the needy people.

Very impressed with the structural repairs to the original building. The work is of a very high standard. The new paving and water features are also done to a very high standard. A marvelous building to admire, and relax with a coffee,or a bit of retail therapy. Far too good for the people of Halifax!!

What a glorious, architectural delight. Even more so since it's renovation. Coffee shops, wine/gin bars, pubs, arts & crafts shops and seasonal attractions make it somewhere to spend a few hours in delight. I love wandering around looking through the windows or spending money on local products or with local vendors and just appreciating the beauty of the structure.
