Me and a couple of friends heard about the tasting menu on offer so decided to visit. We were not disappointed.... It was a fabulous mix of food and we got to try lots of different elements off the menu. We also paid a little more and got a glass of champagne which is definitely worth it price wise! We stayed for a cocktail which broke the bank a little but what do you expect for London! We also bought some macaroons in the patisserie to take home which was a good treat the next day.

Hi, I been Yesterday there. We been more times there. Before, Used to be amazing 10 stars and now it not, it -9 and 1 for the food!!The food was really good but really really poor service. Really bad personal attention. They didn't give us de apperitive, we had to ask for that. When 2 tables that came more late that us, they had it on table. We saw that another people that came more late that us, They had the food before us. And we had to wait too much for everything. We spent 2h for eat!. They pass cross us, we been calling them and even almost shouting them, because we needed an spoon. In the end I had to get up because they was watching us and ignoring us. We thought that maybe it was because we are women couple, if not, we don't understand why they are unprofessional!. The last meal came very late and it was almost cold. As well, The waitress who brought the drinks was rude and she looks upsetting and angry... she sent really bad vibrations.
They had a lot mistakes with the food. Bringing food that it wasn't for us. Then another waitress was chewing a gum...... We think, they should change the staff!!. The food is amazing but the staff really bad. We came for a birthday celebration and We had a really bad time there. 0 professionality! Very expensive for the service that they offered 13% service fee!! We paid because for the cooking staff, I will not go back again!! No reccomend anymore!!

This place has been around for years in old days you had only 90mins max at the table. Food is still good and pricey but worth it..cocktails are great too. Try the turnip cake.(it's not a normal cake)

Out of this world dim sum and I grew up having a lot of dim sum! We especially loved the siu mai and prawn cheng fun. Next time we won t get the Har gao as it was not memorable. Service was average for what it was but I guess the food made up for it.

Impressive tea selection, delicious sweets and perfectly prepared dumplings. The decor and layout upstairs were a bit sterile. Ask to be seated downstairs where it's a bit more welcoming.

Very nice place to have dinner, the food is simply delicious and the waiter was very kind to help me choose the best dishes for me. It can be very crowded so make a reservation to avoid disappointments.

Yauatcha has a great vegetarian friendly menu! Service was good and attentive however did find they overpacked the table a bit so ended up dropping and breaking a glass. Food was good but wasn't a fan of the veg crispy 'duck'! I would like to try more of the menu!

Service was a bit slow, food was tasty but it wasn't good enough/ there wasn't enough of it to justify the high prices.
They forgot to bring out our Prosecco until we'd nearly finished our mains as well.

The tofu skin is added with tofu skin, which is very crispy to taste. The taste is much better than the traditional intestine powder, and the seasoning is also excellent. The tape is quite delicious, there is no smell of meat, and the palate is slightly elastic, retaining the umami taste. The venison is ok, and the characteristics of the venison can not be eaten. The feeling is that the fine-tuned version of the honey sauce is fried. Tea-smoked pork ribs are a bit too sweet, and the two will be very tired when they eat it. The environment is more distinctive.

The best Chinese cuisine in london.i haveh been working in hospitality's industry for almost 10 years and I highly recommend this restaurant to people who wants to have a good quality time. we went there on Friday night with a group of five people. As one of our friend how works there she recommended. The food was super delicious and very well presented, you definitely should try squid , veg stir fried beef and Singapore noodles they were the best! The Service was excellent ,our waiter Omar and Victor were really polite and helpful and kept serving the table all the time, at the end even the general manager himself served us and we splited our bill with him, he was very nice and asked if everything was alright and we all left very happy, Thank you Yauatcha we will definitely come back again

The restaurant lives up to its name and reputation. The seating area downstairs is well appointed. There is a bar on the right with a large seating space opposite

The food. Very tasty and very well presented. Definitely a class above. There are loads of starters and you could really just have those and skip the main meal section. This is what half our party did. The mains were also very tasty and it is a difficult choice to make whether to go starter only or not.

The service is very personable and appears very caring.

Although I typically prefer more traditional dimsum (or Chinese) restaurants over modern, contemporary-styled ones, this place had pretty good dimsum. It's on the pricier side and the menu isn't as deep as I would have liked, but the service is good and the atmosphere during the evening is great for coming with friends. If you like traditional decor and service on a cart for dimsum, this isn't the place to come.

The decoration is very cool, I like the bottom part more. Ideally, ask for a variety to share and drink jasmine tea :) The dim sum is very rich, although the truth is that everything we ate was delicious. It is not a cheap place but it is worth going.

The first time I was eating at Houston, I felt very good. I didn t have any service at the time of dining in London. (Tea drinks and bills have been waiting for a long time, waiting for a long time, the waiter has an indifferent attitude), not worth Michelin. The title of the star is overstated and will not come again.

Not worth it..Won't come back again..

My favorite chinese restoration in London! Very nice and relaxing atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious! Service is always top notch. And one more thing - don't forget top try their deserts, you will regret if you miss their cakes!

Took my wife on our first date here, did the trick ;-) was my favourite restaurant before that night, and has solidified it's place as number 1. Love dining here, superior decor/atmosphere/food/service and style. A must for foodies

Had a really disappointing experience here for my birthday dinner. My husband called ahead to book for our special occasion dinner but the whole time we were being rushed through cold and greasy food that we had to send back. The waiters were not helpful or friendly and we just felt like he they were trying to rush us out. I'm only giving 2 stars because the dim sum was delicious.

Second visit at Yauatcha. Food is five stars, amazing dim sum selection & everything we tried was tasty.
However, service level ruins the experience. Took too much time to order, the there was a 15-20min gap between the first dish (venison puff) and the rest of the food.
Also a note to the restaurant, you should really allow more space between tables! No excuses for putting so many people at the basement next to each other during a pandemic!

Amazing food! We had the wild mushroom dumpling, crystal dumpling wrap with pumpkin, mushroom spring roll, the hand pulled noodle with shimeji mushroom and the fried vegetarian duck - all vegetarian and everything was delicious. Also, the atmosphere at the downstairs floor is very nice. Will definitely come back here again.

As a Cantonese, this restaurant tastes not right, and the freshness of the ingredients needs to be improved. The steamed fish that I ordered is very salty, the tea ribs are particularly greasy, and the intestine powder is the worst intestine powder I have ever eaten. The service aspect is also when I go, it is probably the peak period, it is a mess. Obviously there must be a blacklist. (A star is for the face, there is a place for the location, the comparison is about the soho area)Bad service. My friend and I wait for too long time for our dishes.Probably that time was very busy but still not make sense And make me a really bad impression.Another point is that the waiter thought we have finished so he remove our dishes!!Its embarrassing!! Also about the taste of the food is absolutely not that genuine Chinese food. And the price is too High doesn't worth that much to spend in this restaurant.

Good food, excellent service, fancy atmosphere. This place is definitely trying to elevate the Chinese dining scene. It is not cheap, but it is not crazy expensive either. Also many good vegetarian options. Authentic and delicious, definitely recommend.

Had a really disappointing meal there yesterday and felt like it really let down the birthday treat I had planned for my wife. While the food tasted decent enough the service had alot to be desired, how this place has a star I'll never know.
After waiting 25 minutes for our first drink and to order, the dishes started whipping out at quite a rate, though I have no idea what we eat as nothing was explained. Don't even get me started on the wine flight, I have no idea about any of the wines apart from what colour they were, and that they appeared after the course they should have come with. After a few courses the food went back on the go slow, with waiting staff asking us what we are waiting for !
To be fair we mentioned this and we did get our cocktails comped, but this is no where near the level of service I would expect from a 1 star, your bog standard takeaway maybe !

Been a couple of times before and its always been great, today was terrible. Service was good but the food was nauseating. Everything was extremely fishy, and the prawns tasted like how a dock smells, nice and oceany.

High end beautiful dim sum restaurant. Very fancy and pricy for dim sum in London but quite delicious and surprisingly the few dishes I had tasted authentic. I was expecting it to be westernized since it's not like your typical dim sum restaurant.

I went solo so couldn't order too many things thus just got a few classics.

- steamed pork buns : pork was good mix of sweet and savory and the buns are nicely filled with the pork, they didn't skimp on the filling. It was slightly oversteamed but the taste was still really yummy.

- scallop and pork siu Mai : unlike traditional siu Mai, the scallop wasn't dried it was a fresh one! Probably why it was so expensive for just 3 pieces. I prefer the cheaper version with dried scallop but this was also quite tasty.

- Xiao long bao(pork soup buns) : the wrapper is thicker than I usually prefer it but the taste of the soup and pork were on point!

Overall really good experience, great service and ambiance. Heard their cocktails are worth trying as well. Will have to come back with a bunch of people to try more dishes!

The dim sum and dessert here was amazing! I ordered a scallop shui mai, har gau, char siew cheong fun, chicken soup, wagyu beef puff and the king crab siew long bao. No complaints about any of them though they are a bit pricey. For dessert, I went for the pear almond tart which was a great combination of flavours. Would definitely recommend this place if your budget allows!

Experienced a much better dinner than the one I had last time I visited this restaurant a few years ago. Very well done and tasty dishes from the dumplings to the crunchy duck. Tastes are well defined and ingredients of good quality. Impressive the desserts which are beautiful and very good. Great the selection of teas and interesting the offer of the beers coming from a brewery specialised in low alcohol but tasty products. Excellent service!

Always a reliable choice for some good Chinese food. It s a bit pricey but compared to some inedible Chinese food in Chinatown, it s better to pay a bit more and get something that is far superior in quality. Reservation is recommended but I have gotten in without reservation a few time with no problem.

Dim sum at night?? Yes this place offer off the menu dimsum. The dishes are refine but still had old HK dimsum style attached to it. Bring a lot of people so you can order variety of dishes to try. They also have beautiful cakes in the front to have as desserts or get to go.

Wow, this was a good one! Nice atmosphere, dark but happy. Dress code is casual - always a plus. The venison puffs were seriously delicious. Other recommendations include the duck and squash fried dumpling and the spicy Sichuan pork wonton. Desserts were good as well!

Not as good as the one at the ice rink. Noisy, crowded and rushed service. Wine by the glass is very expensive. Though food from the tasting menue was good, the overall experience left a bad aftertaste. Won't return.

I went here years ago for cocktails and dim sum which I thought was meh. Today went for dessert and had the green tea choux and the strawberry eclair. Both seemed stale and were very bland. The green tea choux was difficult to cut with a spoon and fork (I suppose we could eat it with a knife but that's not how it was served). The ice cream on both were bland. The eclair's little white chocolate topping was nice. The strawberrys we picked at Garson's farm was way better than the ones that were used which I thought was a bit tart.

Service was nice and attentive. Environment was a bit loud but very nice and modern.

We had high mountain fo shou tea which was very nice.

Thanks Mamun. Hope we will come back again

Really great food, high quality dim sum with a twist. Great service as well. Had their set menu, which was a great way to try their menu. Unfortunatly we couldn't finish all the food, we we're too full.

Great dim sum, lovely cocktails, brilliant desserts, and friendly service at a premium price. Changfen might be the best we've had in London. Can't believe I haven't been here before.

2 stars only because the food is pretty consistent and decent - nothing spectacular for this price range and being a Michelin starred restaurant. I ve been here four times and the service gets worse and worse. Will not be returning.
