Beautifully cooked and presented Chinese dishes. Loved the atmosphere and interior of the restaurant, the service as very good too. A bit pricey, but worth it! Will be coming here again.

Really good food, attentive service. It's very overpriced, but the quality is fantastic. You're definitely paying for the attention to detail both in the food and the decor and ambience. The chive and prawn dumpling was incredible.
Excellent dim sum in an elegant and trendy atmosphere
Awesome place. Great menu which caters for all tastes (providing you like Orienal food) Cocktails are also excellent. Ive been here a few times and some of my favourites are now not on the menu, like osterich and crocodile. The menu is still great though
This is the BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT i have EVER been to. It provides excellent customer services and if i could i would go every day! This is the best Chinese restaurant in London. I have been to many Chinese restaurants but I forgot all about this when I found out about this place.. I do have to worn you though, it is pretty expensive but its worth it!
Loved the food here. This place is not cheap but the dim sum was worth every cent. Not greasy, superb flavour - best duck I've ever had
One of the most impressive Dim Sum restaurants in this part of London. I've celebrated my last 2 birthdays here, and the fact that I came back after the first one speaks for itself. The staff is attentive and responsive to special requests, which is really cool. The prices are also reasonable for a restaurant of this calibre.
Definitely recommend it.
Pleasant restaurant in a cozy atmosphere. Good quality food, quick and pleasant service.
if you enjoy Royal China, you will enjoy this place even more. Excellent selection dim sums and delicious authentic Chinese dishes. Also, it has a huge select of Chinese teas.
If I could put zero and even less I would have done! Being literally put out because we just wanted to order desserts is just aberrant.
Nobody told us that we were
supposed to have dinner to order desserts. We were seated and warned the waitress that we wanted to order only desserts (it was 22:30). Instead of telling us directly that we had dinner to order desserts, she went directly to her superior who was eager to hunt us! The people who accompanied me, had already been in their establishment to consume only their desserts. We were really surprised and for my part shocked! I wanted to start a discussion calmly to show the stupidity of the thing but the superior followed me very closely to get me out as soon as possible. It is an establishment to avoid! We treated as less than nothing and that's just intolerable! Never in London have I been treated this way.
My boyfriend and I booked a table for our anniversary and had the most delicious dinner ever.
I would definitely recommend it for special occasions. I also really appreciated the special touch as our desserts arrived with a chocolate happy anniversary writing on the plate!
My completepreferred dishes are the Shark's fin Hot & Sour Soup; just the thought of it makes my glands flow, the Shitake& Duck Roll, the Spinach Cube Oh Great!
Endure in mind; this is not a traditional dim sum or high street Chinese restaurant. The dishes are, for the most part, variantsof the oldies. A lot of the dim sum dishes would be familiar to many, but this is a menu worth taking time over and trying as many of those that appeal to you. Chances are you won't be disappointed with the tastes of the dishes. The ingredients are obviously of the main quality and kitchen consistently produces the same high standard all the time we've been there. This place was so good, great service too. Outstanding crowd!Absolutely will go back
We asked for recommendations but was told by the waitress all on the menu are good. Daft! The lobster dumplings is a big disappointment. The cheong dun is good but nothing unique. The food here is mot worth wasting tummy space!
Service is a bit disappointing given they charge 13% service fee.
3rd time here! Love it. Very simple food but very well cooked! Great selection and not over priced for a michelin star restaurant! Can't wait to go again!
Great food and service, nice ambient and I strongly recommend!
hakkasan food at a slightly more reasonable price, plus kickass cocktails and fab pastries. and venison puffs, always with the vension puffs.
Lovely dinner with family outing . Really enjoyed a lot . Asian Daiquiri and bean beef were delicious recommended by waiting server Mamun . . Hope to go another weekend again.
A bit mixed. Food very good but service was indifferent; ambiance not very special for the price. We prefer the branch in the City
Went there with bunch of French friends - cocktail (lil lau?) was very very good and all the dim sums were so lovely. Do not forget to order Venison Puff - it is to die for!!! I this this place is mainly suitable for a date but who cares? Just try with anyone and you will appreciate the moment. It is about 50% more expensive than chinese restaurants in china town but it's worth a penny. Period. Strongly recommend here.
My first choice for dim sum. Best quality dim sum in London - Elegant design and top service.
Good food, good service. Nice atmosphere. I wouldnt give the service A 5 most likely a 3.
I would come to it if I don't have preservations.
Google says this is expensive, but if you're smart, you can get away with buying an absolutely delicious meal for a reasonable price. Just order dim sum separately, and that will do it!
it was the third time I went there. unfortunately it was a disappointment. too rowdy environment and unprepared and unsuitable waiters. I was sitting downstairs in the corridor near the cashier and the waiters hit me at least 4 times. The food is still good even if it has become a little "industrial".
it is an inadequate place for those who want to spend a relaxing evening
The price was fair for the one star. Some din sum dishes are creative. Overall a good dining experience.
Great place for food and drink but not copy! Busy as hell, have your food Nd go
Really delicious Chinese food! You get almost everything there!
To-die-for Dim Sum. Simply the best I've had - creative, incredibly tasty, and beautiful to look at. Main dishes and cocktails are great, too. Together with a sexy vibe, this is a place I'll go back to (once I collect enough money, that is)
Up-market dim sum in a nice setting. The food is quite good and it's a nice place for a special occasion or a business dinner.
If your wanting to treat your loved one or family then this is a great place to visit. It's not cheap but great food and drinks available
Highly Recommended. A culinary experience and super nice service. Thanks here to Yeon. Yeon was really great. You feel very well.
Stunner! Went here for the first time yesterday evening, had the dim sum tasting menu and I was blown away. The venison puffs were out of this world and the buzz and vibe of the restaurant was so cool!
Fantastic Asian food, not exactly cheap but price aligned in this part of London
A beautiful Asian restaurant serves a nice delicate dim sum variety, along with other wonderful dishes.
We chose a set menu of dim sums, but looking over the shoulder of our neighbors it seemed that it worth diving into the menu and order a la carte dishes.
As a dessert, they serve French little cakes which look fantastic, but not as tasty as they seem. Maybe it is just my picky taste.
We will come back.
Great place. Lovely ambiance. Decent sized portions. However some dishes are overprized. Lovely staff. Great service.
Probably best Dimsum place in London. Pricey but worth it. Great cocktail menu as well.
Spectacular and what to do or a must see, products and a magnificent attention by its staff. I would definitely go back
It s okay, but it s too depressing and uncomfortable.
Very good for Dim Sum. Very creative dishes served in a modern ambiance. Found the place slightly too dark and loud overall. Make sure to book a table because it is always packed.
lovely evening excellent food and great service from our Italian waiter Simone.
Loved the experience , the staff were generally nice . I would go back
The girlfriend said that the taste is average, and the work is still fine.
Lovely food, unlike the ones I got before of Chinese food. Very nice and attentive service.
This is on the cheaper size of Hakasan. The food, service and vibe is beyond great. The dim sum so wow. My husband eats meat and am a vegetarian and there are so much good food to choose from. This is a place we visit and no matter the location there is a consistency.
@vienstylez
Excellent dim sum; great service in a fine (but noisy) setting. Never disappoints on the detail. Recommended for dinner - on the eve of the (Chinese) New Year.
Kung Pao Chicken is good, recommended, black pepper venison is also very good. Others will be fine.
Terrible service, no value for money! Regret my spending for nothing here. Too bad
Amazing. Everything about this place was amazing; the drinks; the food; the staff. It wasn't cheap but we feasted and it's a memory which I'll savour for a long time to come.
Absolutely fantastic food and service. I would highly recommend.
My all the time favourite place for dim sum in London. Love their jasmine tea smoked ribs, it's like melting in the mouth, the crab shells are fantastic in terms of texture and flavours. All sorts of dumplings are good as well. Their desserts are must try!
I just went there food was OK but they couldn't find my scarf so tomorrow I will be back!
AVOID
They must have bought their michelin star. There's no way they earned it.
Rude staff with no interest in customer service. Food mediocre at best. One of the desert offerings tastes of soap
Great atmosphere, nice staff and amazing deserts. I do understand their reasons but I haven't felt cozy when the girl said that we have to be done within one hour cause of reservations. Raspberry rose looking cake and mandarin chocolate one are sent from Heaven.
In the hakasan group this is the best value. The standard of cuisine is good as you'd expect. Can feel cramped down stairs in parts. So I suggest sitting on the ground floor
Very busy and slow. Not ideal for a quick lunch. We had the Taste of Y menu. It took 25 mins between courses and took 15 mins to get the bill. Food wasn't particularly mind blowing especially for a high class restaurant. There was no macaroon, instead a very small scoop of vanilla ice cream. They seem to be short staffed and service charged has now increased to 15%. Not as good as previous visits. Not recommended.
Wonderful food and service. Can't believe it took me so long to discover it...!
It's OK. Lacks character considering how expensive it is. Lots of blue perspex with a very modern vibe. Food was good, not notable enough that I would recommend anyone to go there.
The staff were friendly.
The air-conditioning wasn't working properly at ground level, but we were reseated downstairs where it did work.
Good food and service just a little on the pricey side.
The receptionist was seriously poorly served. There is a position that is not allowed to enter the seat and we are positioned
Despite the fact there were a few errors made with the food, the dishes I ordered between me and my date were absolutely exceptional, we had the Har gow, Mushroom dim sum and Prawn cheung fun. I've never eaten Michelin Star food before. They also gave us macaroons to correct their mistake. This shows that making sure the customers are happy is their priority!
We ate at some good restaurants in London - Mash
Fratelli la Bufala
But must dwell on
Yauatcha. Asian Restaurant
The place itself is beautifully decorated and the service is great and the dishes are superb. Also delicious vegetarian, also the dampling dishes, also seafood of all kinds and those who love desserts - the eyes and lips will be kissed. pleasure.
Very delicious food, shame it s sooooo expensive! Definitely recommend the truffle dumplings
Expensive dimsum in a classy modern Americanized setting. The desserts in the opening room space are beautiful and the rose cake we tried was delicious. However, the dimsum is just standard and nothing special; doesn't justify the price. Waiters were a bit aloof and rude (perhaps it's cause we're tourists?).
Amazing food, really good vegetarian options. Service was excellent. Thanks for a great evening, would love to visit here again.
Looks delicious and is delicious.
If the wallet allows it it is definitely worth a visit. The desserts in particular are there to melt away.
Really surprised at someone saying masks weren't on, when I was there this weekend all the staff had them on and no physical menus. The set up was fine and the food was delicious, plenty to choose from.
I would recommend going as a group and ordering platters to share to be cost effective. My children were satisfied too, which is a rarity.
My favorite place to go eat chinese food. Very delicious and tasty. Moreover, the place is very cosy. I recommended it for special occasions or romantic rendez vous even if it is still a bit lousy sometimes
Amazing experience 5stars. Extremely good ambience, Mamun the server very good eye contact, must try Lychee martini
We arrived at 6pm for an early dinner and I was initially impressed with the decor and ambience but this all changed pretty quickly.
We ordered our food and all throughout the meal there was a constant sense that we were deliberately being hurried so we would leave. When this was raised with the manager his response was that yes we were being rushed because they needed the table. I could maybe understand it if it were a budget restaurant but it's not.
It's a real shame because the food was pretty good but would have been a whole lot better if we'd been allowed to enjoy it.
Avoid...
Amazing dumplings great service. Sharing portions so have to order a lot to get variety and volume.
Have been to and have reviewed this restaurant multiple times, used to be 5 star fan. HORRIBLE and I mean HORRIBLE service today. Food was served cold. Had to go to manager JUST TO GET OUR FOOD after waiting for 50 minutes. AND without asking they charged our card in US dollars which is a complete rip off. Oh...and service is included. We have been coming here for MANY MANY years...people who worked here used to know us but today was AWFUL and we will NOT RETURN. They have gotten too big for their u know what. USED TO BE GREAT...not so much any more. If you see most of my hundreds of other reviews I am usually complimentary unless it is abominable. Well YAUTCHA has hit the jackpot.
Overall I have to say that we were very impressed by the food. The dim sum was fantastic. You get 3 portions per dim sum order, so it could get awkward of there's an even number of people sharing.
The mains were also very tasty, and very substantial. It's worth noting that if you're ordering rice to accompany your main, then one between two is enough.
Finishing off the evening, we saw that there was a selection of handmade chocolates and macarons. Without a doubt, the macrons were amongst some of the best I'd ever had. This feeling was echoed by one of the group who happens to be a professional baker.
All in all, I would recommend the place to anyone, for the food and drinks. However, I'm docking a star because the restaurant staff were at times a little inattentive.
Delicious, unfortunately, very noisy
Very expensive
