I needed a new laptop for school and was not satisfied with my most of my options elsewhere. The laptops I wanted were very pricey but I am a student so I have to get a good deal. XOTIC PC had by far the best prices out there and the follow up after purchase was great. If I would have purchased from somewhere else, I would have paid quite a bit more (I could even afford to double my RAM!). I am absolutely satisfied with my experience with XOTIC PC and my killer laptop. I will buy my next rig from them for sure!

I paid a laptop in january 8th for my wife's birthday (yesterday). I thought that buying something almost 20 days before her birthday I will have it on time. Noooo, big mistake. Today, January 27th I have talked to them and they are telling me that they haven't put a tech in front of my computer yet. They haven't started yet!!!! This is unbelievable. I don't know when I am going to receive my laptop, that of course, I wasn't cheap.

The customer service and response time from Xotic was fantastic, they interacted with me daily on changes or update's that were made to current stock. I would recommend Xotic to anyone and as a Director of a company I very much appreciate when a company is hand's on and take's care of problem's that fast. Great company, Great Staff.
This reseller had some of the better prices available on Clevo laptops, so I decided to buy a Sager NP8171 while it was on sale. My configuration was pretty simple, I spoke with a customer service representative named Jake and he helped me out with the order. Got a few freebies as part of the sale, and am overall very pleased! In terms of service, you won't be disappointed.

The ability to get some whitebox notebooks not put together so I could do it myself. Which I love that idea. Been with my G73JW for 5 years now, Xotic offered decent customer/computer services when the Hard drive had a malfunction. The fan was just died on me a few days ago. Now it's time to change and you are the first place I look for.

I hardly ever write a review! But I just want to say that xotic is an amazing company to work with! I purchased a MSI gs60 Ghost pro 4k on amazon from them. Since the time of purchase I had a few minor complications (mainly things a non experienced computer person would have). But they have been completely helpful and patient with me the whole time! I will recommend them to my family and friends for future computer purchases!
I got my laptop customized to a dual 1TB RAID-0 setup and a cleaned Windows install as a result. It took about a week from the time I ordered until it arrived.
Terrible speed. The customer service always pushed my question to another person. Then no more feedback. I don't know how the backend treats order, but for me, it's a chaos at all! I waited for three days for the payment confirmation but no feedback. I placed another order and there's even no confirmation email to my mailbox. The reason why i chose Xotic at first is that i think you are experts. However, at last, i bought my laptop from Sager official. I PLACED THE ORDER AT THE AFTERNOON AND I CONFIRMED THE PAYMENT AT THE NIGHT. Do you see the speed? I think the products are great, but the service is a nightmare. I hope Xotic PC can improve the order system. Not for joking, the order system is even worse than my project at school.
However, the attitude of COO was great and he solved some problem i made. Thanks for him. I hope i can have a better shopping experience next time at Xotic.

Lag issues right away. XoticPC was suppose to test my laptop before hand for these kind of problems. Slow access to my second hard drive. Started contacting support and over time we ended up upgrading my second hard drive (200$) to a SSD. I installed the second hard drive and had the same issue.

I wasn't happy about going to ups and having an RMA without a shipping label both ways after paying for the service.. another hour of my life in driving.
I've had the laptop for a few months and haven't been able to game on it. Now it's sent off to MSI who I cannot get ahold. I understand there's issues and parts are defective. But to receive the laptop right away an have issues shows XoticPC didn't properly check my laptop before hand.
I use my laptop for work and my girlfriend uses it for school. Not a very happy customer right now and I have no clue when it's coming back.
I want to give you guys a good review because I'm sure your pcs are great but I've had a pretty poor experience at the moment. I hope when the laptop comes back (someday) it will be working properly. As I stated before the support team is great. And we're trying to resolve the issue at the moment.
Bad experience. Purchased a stock MSI laptop from their site. After 1 week they finally just processed my order (Stage 0 they call it). When I asked about the delay they said it takes time to build a PC and acquire parts. They didn't have an answer when I told them the laptop was prebuilt. All they had to do was ship it...I asked if I could get a resolution to ship it out and they said they couldn't discuss shipping details over chat. I cancelled my order due to lack of support and delays to ship something that was already built by MSI.

These people move at a snails pace. If you need a computer in a relatively short space of time, DO NOT ORDER from these people. I ordered my computer 10 days ago and it is still in phase 1 of 4 phases - 10 days for them to get just the computer and parts into their warehouse and still counting!! I suspect they carry very little stock. I don't even want to think when I will end up getting it.

Other than Sager not having my item in stock to ship (not Xotics fault in any way), the entire experience was great. I was contacted to inform me of the delay, when it was expected and was contacted again once they'd received, and once they'd shipped my order. Shipping was fast, and the build/upgrades were super solid. Worth every penny. I'm thinking of upgrading the desktop I built a few years back, and will DEFINITELY be going back to them for that purchase as well.

I have purchased several laptops through XPC and one had some issues, but they stepped right up and helped me through it. The problem was with the machine, none of their services. They're always totally available for you and they have the best online customization options, IMO.
They helped me get my dream gaming computer by not only helping me order it, but by helping me build it, customize it, and even pick out a monitor for the killer rig. They are my go-to for anything now.

Like a few others I'm also having issues with Xotic's repair timeframes. It took over a month to receive the computer, which was DOA. Now that I've sent it back ($90 w/insurance, which was my own expense, kudos to you guys that got a shipping label sent to you), I've had to wait another 3 weeks on a repair that was supposed to be a day (a bad memory stick was the issue they said). Since, I've sent in my laptop, other than a confirmation of receipt, I've had no follow up or status updates unless I call. I can't see myself purchasing any other equipment from these guys in the near future if this is how customers are treated. FYI I ordered my laptop in August... AUGUST!!! Maybe I'll have a working computer by Christmas. And like a few other comments, I have not been offered anything thing in consideration for the time that has gone by. Here's a hint boys, if you screw up an order throw in a freebee or an upgrade or both depending on how bad things have gotten. You may actually salvage a repeat customer here and there.
12.2 update: I have been in touch with Xotic and we are working together to resolve the issue, I will update further at the end of the process. It's at least good to know someone over there is listening.
12.16.15 update: like some fortunate others, I was able to get a hold of Tanner M. and he was much more inline with my idea of "customer service." We were able to communicate effectively and resolve the issues I was having. I am happy to report I now have a new laptop in hand, thanks to his efforts. I'm upping my rating two full stars to 4 because of his desire to work with me to make sure I was happy. Thanks, Tanner!

First I order from this web, after order i receive a call from confirm order, i asked how long i can get my laptop, she said about 7-10 days. they really slow processing , been a week, still phase 2, not ship yet, most online order 2-4 days, I don't know how long I need wait? I help ASAP they ship my order.
Getting the "cash" price was easier than I thought. I didnt skimp on my Sager NP9150 and it paid off. My laptop shipped out very quickly and worked perfectly out of the box but I have to say, their customer service is the reason I chose to buy from them instead of iBuyPower. They have impeccable customer service for such a small company. Even 6 years after my purchase they are helping me like the day I bought it. They talk to you like a human instead of an outsourced script program pawn and that was what I needed. XoticPC is where I'll be buying all my laptops from 2010 on. Thanks guys.

Purchased two (2) MSI WS60 6QI-001 laptops for my company. I needed a workstation laptop that could handle the workload of CAD/Revit for my architectural practice. This was the firs time I purchased from a dealer other than Dell/HP..so I was a bit concerned. The laptops came engraved with our company logo and were just what we needed. Several months later one the keyboards went bad and Xotic PC with the assistance of MSI repaired and delivered the Laptop back at no cost. Very happy and appreciate great service.
Best customer support ever, From sales to service. Months almost a year after getting your laptop and the support guy knows your name,laptop issues,and jokes with you while trying to fix what you screwed up. Would give 10 stars and a extra cheesecake but the system is rigged!
Took a week for them to notify me the computer was no longer in stock. Their customer service is good, but 2 weeks of processing time just to know that an item isn't available is a bit ridiculous.

Still in the process of seeing if a similar computer is available for a similar price, but the fact the A) someone at XOTIC cares about their reviews, B) responds quickly, and C) offered a free game is pretty outstanding to me.
Ordered a computer which was then put on back order, I was not notified and I was forced to order a different one after finding out from calling them. I order a different laptop and it arrives non functional. I've tried to get support and RMA the device but they have not been responding. Poor customer support experience.

Initially I was angry. After ordering a pc and having to contact customer service for updates, about 2 weeks later I was notified that the order I had placed was for a model that was no longer being produced. But after about 20 minutes of back and forth with their Sales Manager, Alex P, I had a replacement order that was rushed for me on the books. The staff is super helpful and accomodating after you make contact with a rep and continue your back and forth. I'll come back and update my rating to 5 stars once my computer arrives and I'm satisfied with it.

Everyone is posting bad reviews about customer service and the time it takes to process an order. Well, so far, my experience has been AMAZING! Everytime I have contacted them for help I receive very quick responses and my expectations are exceeded. As soon as my payment posted, BOOM, order was sent to Sager for rush build. I haven't received my notebook yet, but soon it will be here. The build time process depends on Sager not Xotic PC because they're a resaler, but they do build their own as well. Their staff is so helpful, funny, and courteous. I will post another review when I have tested out my laptop. It will probably be another 5 star review because I've owned a Sager before and I know Xotic PC will help out if needed. I will defintely only do business with this company from now on. Thank you!

The laptop is AMAZING. Best $2500 I've ever spent. Although, I should have paid them $130 for Windows 10 Pro and got them to format the computer rather than doing it myself. After going to the store, buying Windows 10 Pro which is $144 in store, external CD Drive, and going through the whole headache of formatting and downloading drivers sucked. As soon as I finished everything I have been amazed by this machine. The bottom left of the screen does have dead pixels and doesn't display black at all, but I don't care that much because I have z35 Predator monitors to hook up to the laptop. Thank you Xotic PC for your excellent customer service and help throughout this process! I will definitely do business with your company again.
My first gaming laptop(MSI GT-72 Pro G-034) was purchased from Xotic PC. I've never had any issues with it and they were great to deal with the first time around.
Fast forward to now when I wanted to get another laptop, I compared the prices from here to another custom laptop place, and I couldn't get them down to the same price, and one of the guys I spoke to on the phone was really annoying me with his responses, trying to say they're not using new items for that price and such.
At the end of the day, XOTIC PC lost $3k worth of business from me and I ended up going elsewhere.

Just bought a high end gaming laptop from XOTIC PC. They were very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. Their prices for their customizable units are the best on the market. I highly recommend them!
Bought a Samsung here two years ago and they helped me fix it last year when it got some issues. Will be buying from them again later this fall for my work computers.
I ordered a laptop from them and it took about a month to get to me but I just think that because it was the holiday season and most likely they were dealing with a large amount of orders. I did make an order change part way in, and that was easy to do on the website live chat. The only downside is that they forgot to ship my part. But that is fine because most likely they just wanted to get my system done and shipped so they could work on other orders. I did get my part shipped after contacting customer support a few times.
Overall they have good computers and I would order from them again.
Garbage company. They overcharge, lie about parts and services, and mishandle product. So many instances of damaged shipments I cant count. Stay far away from this company.
I have had nothing but good experiences so far. Customer support has been helpful and only reason not 5 stars is I have no hands on experience with any of their products. When I do, hopefully someday, the review will change to reflect a complete and full experience

My experience with Xoticpc was great! They have helped me find the solution to the problem, and helped me know what I needed to know! I would say they are beyond compare, compared to other experiences I've had with other companies.
Now I would like this to be a fair review so I had to think of some things I didn't cooperate with. But the thing is, is that there was no problem or mass confusion we had. So technically, they're extremely good at customer service, and I would think if they didn't, they wouldn't be here today... And I have no complaints so far.
I would like to say that their products are pretty well done compared to others that caused me to have minor headaches before, this organization knows what they're doing and I would put great trust in them. Anything they can't do probably has a really good reason to why, I hope they can treat you the same as I was! I hope this has helped some people out.
I bought a Sager NP8268-S from here, and it runs like a dream! It is my first gaming machine, so it was a great and exhilarating experience. XoticPC does everything they can to cater to every customer's specific needs, and their customer service literally one of the best around! They were able to help me with any questions or issues in a timely fashion with no robocall bs or typical customer service phrases. Great company and great products. I will definitely be making my next purchase from here when the time comes.
Very good experience. I upgraded my MSI GT60 barebones from an 880m to a 980m. To do this I had to modify the heatsink with power tools... Xotic still let me keep the warranty on everything but the gpu. Pretty surprised they allowed that haha. S/O to Tanner.
They have slow response times for their e-mail correspondence, and towards the end, stopped replying altogether. They forgot to ship the free set of headphones that came with the $1300 computer I bought from them and then refused to do so when I e-mailed back, making up a bogus claim that I didn't qualify when the website clearly said otherwise.
Additionally, the computer does tend to overheat, even when not playing a game which could be quite problematic.
Always prompt responses with this company. I'm always asking release dates and questions about pricing and they are not shy or secretive about most everything I ask. Nothing like getting answers you need in order to make good financial decisions & plan for your best opportunity to save money on a rig! Not to mention the plethora or options on customization...holy crap!

I purchased a MSI dominator G from XOTIC. I had a great experience with the company. I got mine during a free headphone promotion, and due to a huge number of purchases they were on back order. When I called and asked about the headphones they answered all of my questions and treated me with respect. I will be purchasing all of my computers with them from now on.
XOTIC PC has some of the best customer service I've personally seen in a business. The customer service employees were willing, and able to walk me through anything I had problems with. They were very friendly, and overall great service!
Always see the nicest equipment put together from them, they have the best equipment, no one has equipment as good as these guys.

Bought a Sager NP8172 from these guys and this machine just handles every game I throw at it without problems. Only reason why I'm not giving this a five star is because when the laptop was sent to me I wanted to upgrade and add an SSD but the screws were all stripped pretty bad. Other than that these good overall customer service and products!
After being dealt with in a professional manner by Matthew from xoticpc, and being informed of new improvements to the RMA system that should eliminate the kind of communication black hole that used to exist, I feel comfortable awarding them a 5 star review. When MSI failed to reproduce the issue for which I had sent in my laptop and which had been reproduced by xotic, Matthew and the folks at xotic went to bat and insisted that they (MSI) perform the GPU replacement. I am happy to report that my laptop is on the way back to me now with the proper repairs.

Not a good experience at all. Trying to get a correct order to go through with this company is like pulling teeth...with a pair of rusty pliers...without novocaine. I've worked in IT for quite a while and have made countless tech/computer purchases over the years. This operation has been one of the most rickety & horribly managed that I have ever encountered.
I have been in need of a high-powered laptop to use for both personal and professional projects....and also games...cause games are awesome. Never worked with them before, so I decided to buy through Xotic PC. The payment processed immediately...then nothing....for weeks. No update on the order. I decided to reach out and contact them myself to find out what was up. They told me they didn't have the promotional materials in stock, but I could pay extra to have the promotional items sent separately in order to get the computer sooner...I asked why I should have to pay more just because they didn't have enough stock in place. No response. I caved and reached out again to ask them to go ahead and split the order (coming up on 3 weeks at this point)...they then respond that they DO have the promo items...but they don't have any more models of the laptop...and they don't know when more will come in. Then nothing for a couple of days....so I reached out AGAIN....only to be told that they have the models on order, but still don't know when they will arrive in house...plus it will take an additional 3-8 bus. days to "allocate" the inventory...then ANOTHER 9-16 bus. days for "build time" (keep in mind, I ordered a STOCK laptop!). Only after all of that will the 2-day shipping I'd paid $85 extra for actually kick in! At this point I decided to say screw it and placed an upgrade order for a different model that is $400 MORE EXPENSIVE but the rep. claims is actually in stock. I reach out to the rep via phone to pay the difference. I give him my credit card info...now it's 48 hours later and the payment has only just posted...and only after my having to reach out 2 more times to ask why it hasn't processed yet!!! The fact that it took that long for them to actually process the payment leads me to believe that my ccard info was just sitting in plain-text on a post-it note on someone's desk for a couple days...great.
It is now coming up on a month after I attempted to buy a laptop from a company that specializes in computer distribution... I still have no laptop, and I'm out hundreds of dollars more than I'd wanted to spend...and I'm told that it will probably be at least another week before I actually receive the computer that I DIDN'T want in the first place.
What makes it all worse...the only attempts made by Xotic PC to make this whole thing right have been half-assed at best. They offered "Rushed Production" (which still takes up to 4 days for a stock pc!) and a free game code...Should've just followed my instincts and stuck with my normal vendors.
I have documentation to support every single step of this insanity...and there's even more BS that I haven't included in this review!
Will not use Xotic PC again.
**Edit** Within an hour or so of posting this review Xotic PC has reached out in an attempt to make things right. They are saying that the new product will ship today. I certainly don't intend to hold them hostage with a bad review. I am absolutely willing to give them the benefit of the doubt by assuming this isn't their normal way of operating. Will consider raising my rating if things begin to perk up. It's also worth noting, that Pat with the sales dept. has put in a lot of much appreciated effort to try and help me with this order since he first became involved...ultimately, from my perspective, the problems seem to go beyond him and have more to do with an inefficient production/supply process.
**Edit #2** After finally receiving my new computer (1 month after ordering), I've decided to raise my rating by one star. As much as I appreciate the expedited recovery process, I'm still annoyed that a bad review was the only way to get things moving appropriately.
Couldn't be more pleased with sales and service. They were there to answer any questions that I had. I have purchased 2 laptops for Xoticpc.
I have never done a review before ever so it definitely is saying something about XoticPC. I have purchased multiple computers from XoticPC, soon to purchase my next. They have always had great sales and service. I have experienced RMA's even one really close to the end of a warranty time period and they had no problems with response and getting the machine back to me. I have suggested and directed multiple people to XoticPC for any of their machine purchases (they have always had the same experience as me). I have been with XoticPC since 2010 and will continue to do so. I have purchased an array of machines, gaming and business, all of which have performed pristine (if not they were glad to assist to correct the issue). If anybody is in the realm of purchasing a new laptop, I could not suggest any other company over XoticPC. I have done a ton of research, including pricing and customization, and XoticPC always comes out to be the best. I purchased a gaming laptop back in 2010 and it is what I am currently using with no issues at all, not even customization (XPC Service) I had XoticPC do. XoticPC you are a great company and invest in great employees, who are always willing to do whatever it takes and more! Keep up the great work/sales/service! You definitely have a vested customer that will continue to spread your name and purchase from you! Thank you for all of your assistance and dedication thus far, I know it will continue to be superb!
