They are great! My Asus ROG Strix 502vs was given in tiptop shape, nothing out of the ordinary so far. Even better however, the free deals were given after asking for them (I did not receive them with the Laptop), a LOT of great savings.
After much research for a gaming laptop to fit my needs, I was torn between a couple models and came across Xotic PC. I decided to employ them to make modifications to an MSI GE62 Apache Pro-001 so that it met my expectations. I was hesitant at first because of their relatively low Google plus rating (2.7 at the time) with many people complaining about build times. My laptop was ordered on a Tuesday and delivered the following Wednesday which shattered my expectations because I was ready to wait for three weeks or so because I didnt buy the "rush build" service.
So far my computer is functioning as expected, if things change I will update the review. I have had my laptop for 2 days as of this review.

Most of my laptop purchases have been less than $1000. I searched the WWW looking for the best and least expensive gaming laptop. How did I end up buying a laptop with Xotic PC for over $2000? I decided to go all out - for me, anyway - and purchase a powerful system. I wanted a laptop which allowed me to make changes which I felt were important to me. Xotic PC gives you that option. Yes, you pay for it but it is laughable to compare a paint-by-number painting to a Rembrandt. This is MY laptop - designed per my directions. You will be hard-pressed to find another company like Xotic PC.
I built and received a laptop from this fantastic company 3 years ago. It continues to be my primary gaming computer, holding the highest settings even in today's modern games. Customer support during the ordering process was phenomenal and fast. I'll be ordering again soon and so should you!
I've bought three computers from XOTIC now, and all have been great. The support is very friendly and professional.
While I have yet to buy anything, I've browsed the site repeatedly and have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the site and have had nice chats when I've had a question. I will be in the market for a desktop by spring and this site will be strongly considered.

Order one model and they did not have it in stock. Then i changed it to one that had a eta for late jan, but when the time came they updated me saying it should have it early feb. I cant wait 3 months for a laptop since its going to be outdated for the price. And there is a 3% cancellation fee for them ordering parts, but have not even started building yet. There are other sites that are faster.

If in the off-chance something catastrophic happens I know I'm in good hands with Xotic and I can trust any repairs needed will be quickly taken care of.
I highly recommend buying your laptop or computer from them, the extra options and features they offer are top quality.

While I was warned about bad customer support and did experience what I would consider bad service when I first encountered a problem, I was eventually put in touch with Tanner who was very responsive to my issues and was able to resolve them following his instructions over the phone via my request. I was even compensated with a free game code as an apology for my previous experience, which in my opinion, shows that they do care about the customer. Now my machine is running like I expected it to and I'm very happy with it.
Do not buy from this company. They are a third party retailer and have no hand in anything after purchase. if you have any issue you have to send it to a manufacturer and you're at the mercy of the manufacturer and I have waited over 2 months just to get my computer being repaired. This company is worthless, do not give them your money

I've used XoticPC for my last 3 laptops. Service has been great each time, and the one time I had to send one back for maintenance (after 2 years) it was fixed quickly and without fuss. Sales reps are helpful without being pushy (they're not on commission).

I bought an Aorus X5s V5 from Xotic, and after working with their customer service department, I am content with this laptop now.
I initially had a bunch of problems with the laptop, but we were able to get them fixed in a way that was relatively easy on me. You could call me satisfied.
Message to Xotic PC: Make your customer service department more useful. Make your quality control more strict. Stop relying on your damage control department to fix all of the mistakes that your other departments make. My issues weren't resolved until I posted a less-than favorable review, and that is a terrible business practice.
Honestly, I have yet to have an experience with XOTIC PC, but i look forward to from all the good stuff I've read!
I purchased a custom built laptop back in the end of September/Early October (2016). From the beginning I've had nothing but problems with this company. Took a week to process my purchase, another 3 weeks to begin building my PC. When it was all said an done I got a faulty 1400 pile of junk in November. I have since sent it in 3 or 4 times now...I've honestly lost track and it is still crashing randomly, whether I am watching a show for 20 minutes for gaming for several hours it random crashes with no crash reports. Each time I've sent my PC in to be "repaired" I've gotten no information as to what repairs were done...so I am left to believe none were done because I still have the same broken $1400 pile of junk that I originally ordered. I have requested to send them back their equipment and have my money returned to me but they refuse to do so.
While the staff is friendly, their product is awful.

Ordered a tower about a month and a half ago- probably the best customer service and computer buying experience I've had. Everyone I talked to, they were the most polite people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
They build the computer in phases- you are contacted at the start of each phase; Order received, parts allocation, building, testing, ect. You're kept well-informed, and if you ever have doubts about what's going on, you can contact them in pretty much any vector and get a near-immediate response.
Anyway- the computer came in a quite large cardboard box- within was the box for the motherboard, a small pouch for power supply cables, a cardboard binder-like box, and the box for the case, all of which was absolutely surrounded by a quality packing foam. Loved that I didn't have to deal with the mess of Styrofoam. Notably, I also got a neat little Intel bobblehead/pencil holder, which was really cool.
So, instead of trying to find a way to balance the PC in this box, they took the smart approached and just put it back in the box the case came in, which was clever, and effective. Computer came unscathed, as far as I could tell externally. Within the mobo box were all the extra screws, a few extra cables, a couple of driver CDs, and a wireless adapter antenna, which I ordered.
After the case was unboxed, I quickly put it in its place, and noticed a rattling noise within. I popped off the side panel, and the culprit was a loose stick of RAM. I'll write that one off as being knocked loose during transit- popped it back in, and after the fastest boot of my life, verified that it was working correctly. No damage. One other thing I noticed immediately, was one of the LED strips had been knocked loose, as well. Is was held in place by 3 squares of 2-sided mounting tape at the top of the case, and at some point got knocked loose, and deposited itself between the blades of one of the fans. Luckily, no damage, but definitely feel like that could have been prevented.
Besides those two things, everything was very well put together. The techs at Xotic have a knack for tidy cable management- everything is well secured in place, and the small flairs of their company were in good taste: on the outside, there's "Xotic PC" running vertically on the side of the case, in matching colors, and doesn't take away from it. Within, the water cooler has an awesome "X" design right over the CPU, which combined with LEDs, makes for a very cool sight.
Really, the only thing I'm disappointed with internally was the way the graphics card sagged. It's well known that the newest cards are quite hefty, and tend to make PCI-E slots scream a bit- so I expected the Xotic team to counter this with a simple bracket, or some sort of fancy sling. Still, an easy thing to mend by yourself, just thought it would be something these guys would have addressed.
That's all I really have to say about my experience- they have an in-depth PC and laptop customizer on their site that's easy to use, their employees are top-notch, and they build a good computer. Would definitely recommend to a friend, and will probably take my business back here, if I ever have an itch for a new computer.

They did a great job building my custom Sager laptop. The prices seemed reasonable as well. Absolutely no complaints. They were also very good about keeping in contact with me when I had questions or needed a replacement part (lost one of the little rubber feet from the bottom of the laptop).
i love the customization im allowed on my orders, and with plenty of payment options to work for anyone. They always work with me when i call in for issues or quesitons, and remember me by name.

bought my laptop via getfinancing. t took over 2 weeks and it was still n processing. Never got passed that phase. I canceled the order. I mean f they couldn't get that right. How many more issues would have occurred if I went through with the order.
I have been trying to purchase a laptop from this website for well over a week now. I have gone through different credit cards and none of them have worked. I called my financial institution, there was no problem with the payment. It was valid. Nonetheless, it was voided by XoticPC. I had to wait to have my money back. Then, I tried again as suggested by XoticPC's poor customer support, and it was declined by XoticPC again. I have lost plenty of time among different customer support lines, and it has all been for nothing. I give up. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make a purchase on this website.
Ordered from them twice over a 3 year period, once for me and once for my father. Both laptops arrived when promised and exactly as we ordered them. Their customer service and tech support are awesome, really going above and beyond the call of duty to assist when needed. Will definitely be getting my future computers from them and gladly recommend them to anyone on the market for computers.

One of the advantages of being a computer hardware enthusiast is that you know what you want and how much you should get something for. That being said, Xotic PC is one of the best custom hardware makers out there. Reasonably priced and with great service, go for Xotic.
I had bought a sager from them a long time ago and till date, that laptop performs pretty well(for her specs tbh) and hasn't lost much as it sheen considering the hell I put her through (+1 Clevos) haha
Anyway, Xotic makes great laptops and their desktops are by far the neatest, I'd highly recommend you buy from them!

Up until now, I had just purchased inexpensive, non-performance laptops at Best Buy and was always unsatisfied with the performance of those laptops. So when I was just recently in the market for a fast, gaming-style laptop to use for music production, I spent some time searching for other computer retailers and eventually came across XOTICPC. They had a great variety of laptops, and seemed like a very good company after reading about them and checking out some reviews. I was especially drawn to XOTICPC because of the ability to switch out components and parts, which I wanted to do to ensure that I got a laptop that would meet my performance needs.
I found the laptop I wanted, had a SSD installed, and selected the laptop to be shipped with form-fitting foam in the box for extra protection. I did have to wait a few weeks for XOTICPC to get their shipment from the laptop manufacturer (it was a brand new item), but this was absolutely no fault of XOTICPC's and they regularly emailed me updates on when they expected to receive the shipment. Once they received the shipment of the laptop, they were pretty fast with putting my laptop together and doing all of their testing, and it was great to get the status update emails informing me when they had installed the extra parts I had requested, had finished testing, etc. I received my laptop when they said I would, and there were no shipping problems whatsoever.
It was evident to me that XOTICPC seems to care about supplying quality, performance computers first and foremost, and I was incredibly happy with my experience. I bought an MSI laptop for what I felt was a good price, and was very happy with the work XOTICPC did to swap out the parts I requested. I love this laptop, and I am never buying a computer from Best Buy ever again!! From now on, when a friend is in the market for a new computer, I will definitely recommend that they check out XOTICPC.
If you are going to buy a pre-built PC, you absolutely must use Xotic PC. They are incredibly professional and their customer service is second-to-none. I recommend this company in it's entirety.
Everything was excellent except for how long it took to verify the payment method (which was a personal check) - I don't know that this is even their fault, but it took over a month from ordering my laptop before I received my order. The wait was almost not worth the pay-with-cash (not credit) discount, because I wanted the machine so badly.
TLDR: Bought laptop that can play/stream games and even record/edit videos. If something went wrong, we spoke to resolve issues. I still use it today as a workhorse for editing and recording.
Ordered a laptop (online) from them some time ago since my job required me to travel. Within 24 hours I received an e-mail from them saying some of my configuration wouldn't work. I called the provided phone number for further consultation on uses to better configure my order.
The representatives I spoke with on the occasions I did call to follow up were great. And they even followed up after receiving my laptop to make sure everything was ok.

XoticPC is possibly the best place I know to get an awesome PC, especially laptops. They aren't all cheap, but if you know what you're doing, you can possibly buy one of the best gaming laptop for instance as they seems to be the best at selling them. Their website is always well updated for a great browsing experience, they always take their time to answer every questions, and they are so friendly to chat directly. They seems to have an amazing job too on top of all that if you look at their pictures on Facebook. They offer amazing customization options like never seen before. I definitely recommend it.
I purchased my machine a GE62 Apache laptop from Xotic PC in March 2016. They kept me informed throughout the whole process and are always willing to help a customer. The build quality was excellent and the laptop performed well beyond my expectations.
Placed an order for a PC two month ago (paid $4000+ for a high end desktop). 1 week after the order was placed and the payment was received, they notified me that the RAM was out of stock and proposed a replacement which I accepted in order to get the order moving along. After 2 weeks of no change, I messaged them asking of for an update and no useful information was provide. After that conversation, they came back to me with "good" news because apparently the 1st RAM replacement was out of stock once again and they offered me an "upgrade" to my RAM free of charge. I accepted the change to my order since it was an upgrade and at that point, I was waiting for a month already and all I wanted was to get the PC I have already paid for. An order inquiry was placed but none of that was shown in my order on the XoticPC website; I thought there was a delay so I waited. After another two weeks, I messaged them again and asked what is happening with my order and why the change have not been added to my order. The only useful reply I got was that there was some error in their system and it did not go through.
At this point, it has been 1.5 months since the order was placed and XoticPC is still trying to allocate inventory to fill my order. I would have been fine with this order being delayed if the unit has already been built or it moved a long even in the slightest but there was just error after error and the people working at XoticPC does not seem to have any way to communicate with each other. Every time I asked for an update, the only reply I would get is that it is in production and since inventory allocation is part of production, that reply gave no information. I asked for a more detailed update and sales told me that it would take 1-2 days for their manufacturing to give them that update.
After two months of back and forth, my patience ran out with XoticPC since they have not shown and sign of competence in moving my order forward and can not seem to get my PC build started even after two months of what they call "production". I requested my order to be canceled and they were finally prompt to give me a detailed update and to no surprise the update was that there was another problem: this time it was not the RAM (thank god they actually got that part done in 2 months) but it was the motherboard was defective (whatever that means, you would think that after 2 months of "inventory allocation" they would have allocated a working motherboard). The lack of competence and organization show by XoticPC really baffled me; I order a laptop from them a few years ago and I had a great experience and was really happy with what I got but the difference I had from that time and this time was like night and day. I do not know what happened throughout these couple of years but it seems like their service has really gone downhill.
On a positive note; they were really fast with giving me back the money I paid for this after I canceled (3 business days).
Bottom line is: I would not order from here again and would not recommend anyone to order from here unless you want to spend money on a place that can not even allocate working parts for the order in 2 months. There are plenty of other options out there.

My experience with this company has been miserable. I usually build my own PCs, but I've been hammered with work, starting classes again soon, and I need a CAD machine so I decided to pay to have one built due to lack of free time. I also thought it would be neat to have a mobile workhorse.
On July 29th, I configured and placed an order for a Gigabyte laptop. After a week had passed and I hadn't heard anything from XOTIC, I contacted them and was told that laptop was discontinued and that a free rush build would be provided on my next laptop... which really wasn't worth it as I had already paid for rush building on the original order. I was told to select a new machine.
I did select a machine that night, however, the next morning after XOTIC opened and I went to place the order and the Acer Predator I was going to select was now also removed from the site.
After much more back and forth with customer support and time (3 weeks have now gone by) , I decided to go ahead and continue to use XOTIC PC to build a desktop. I am now currently awaiting death... or the arrival of my computer, whatever comes first.
tl;dr
This is probably the most stressful purchasing experience I've had in my life.

He spoke with me and actually explained why the orders I had made were not available and the troubles of of their suppliers communicating with them, etc. He offered me their upgraded priority build and some promotional gear for my troubles. I have updated the review for the time being and possibly will do so again providing the VIP build process is as quick or nearly as quick as mentioned. Matthew was extremely friendly and a pleasure to speak with.
I recently helped purchase a laptop for my Brother since he knows nothing about computers. The process was quick and painless, and the quality of the Sager laptop that came was amazing. I am about to order another for myself I was so impressed. This thing is solid, well built, and blazing fast. It should last a good 8 years or so. If you're looking for a well built laptop to last a long time look no further.

I've used Asus gaming laptops all of my adult life. After having some issues with the power jack and getting frustrated with repairs (two straight Asus comps needed the jack repaired), I decided to try something new. I build a computer on the XOTIC website - the process was easy, the price was very good for what I got, and my computer is amazing. It's crazy fast, stays cool, and have given me zero problems. It plays any game I throw at it (which I'm impressed with, given that it's going on two years old). Once I need a new computer, I'll definitely be a customer again.

I had bought three laptops for a little over $3,000 each, all of which crapped out within 6 months due to the GPU or CPU fried from overheating. It seems as if these builders lack a little knowledge on ventilating heat as the "copper cooling upgrade" actually seals off the entire portion of the motherboard that exerts heat.
The PCs themselves work fine as per your custom specs. but are generally not designed to handle gaming very well.
I've sent all my PCs back for warranty but the product qualities are unacceptable for their cost. They've removed the copper cooling unit as a "repair" and simply replaced some of my hardware as part of the warranty.
Oh, they also kept the cooling unit when they returned it without any compensation.
I've been getting the best customer support help with customizing a new laptop for my wife and I while we're finishing our degrees. Amazing experience!

A good company, that sells awesome computers at a truly honest price. The customer service is always exemplary and they always go above and beyond. They are very cautious with personal information and go through a very thorough credential verification process before charging you. The stress testing before shipping is also an awesome part of their wonderful service that very few companies offer, though it should be mandatory. Your chances of getting a DOA device or a failure within the first few months are really low thanks to that.
Nearly three years ago I bought an NP9150 w GTX680M from XoticPC. Their service and communication was top-notch. They were also willing to ship without a hard drive as I already had an SSD and HDD that I was planning on using (something a competitor would not do). Shipping was fast and the laptop was in great condition.
It's held up very well over the years. The only thing I've had to do was replace a CPU fan which cost a total of 15$. Using it right now to type this review and every works and appears as it did day one.

I decided to make my laptop purchase on August 9th 2016 thru XOTIC PC because they were recommended to me by my brother, who had made a purchase there a few years back. The process of building a computer thru their website was a breeze, make your selections, add them to cart and you are set, I selected the Acer Predator 17 (G9-792-79VJ). I opted for the cash discount, so I had to wait for a sales representative to e-mail me wire transfer information, the total time for my order / payment to be accepted and moved to Phase 1 [Payment Processed & Inventory Gathering] was 6 days; 4 business days (August 9th-15th 2016). Unfortunately for me, I ended up waiting a total of 9 days only to be notified my order had to be placed on back order and I had to contact XOTIC PC asap; so I did, my laptop was discontinued by the manufacturer. After contacting them, one of the sales members; Barry H, helped me select a different laptop so I could move forward with my order plus, for my inconvenience and delay of my now cancelled order, he offered me a rush shipment for the new order. I went back into research mode, both Barry H of XOTIC PC and my brother helped me select a different laptop. After my new order was placed, it ended up costing a bit more then my original, so I again had to wait for my additional payment to be approved; so the new order could begin the XOTIC PC order/phasing process. As you can imagine, I was already frustrated, especially since I built the other laptop and was really excited about it; to then have to replace it for a different laptop, a more expensive one that I didn t pick because I wanted it, but rather because it was the next best thing I could afford and how much time had already gone by; my old laptop was dying on me, so I needed a new one asap so I could work. However, I can t blame XOTIC PC for Acer discontinuing my model, what I wasn t happy about though was that it almost took 9 days of idle time to be told about it. Okay, so back to my new order - I decided to go with GIGABYTE P57Xv6-PC3D, this replacement machine was ordered on August 19th 2016. On August 26th 2016 my new order finally was moved into Phase 1 [Payment Processed & Inventory Gathering] a whole week! While waiting for this phase, I grew impatient and frustrated - so I contacted XOTIC PC (eChat option) to vent about the delay, because Barry H said my order would be rushed and I felt like time was standing still there is where I encountered a breath of fresh air; I was connected to an AWESOME, HELPFUL and DEDICATED XOTIC PC Sales team member; Danielle G. Whenever I would ask for her thru chat or phone, she made herself available and made sure to reach out to the appropriate teams to figure out why my new order was taking so long. In all, the new order took a total of 13 days to go from ordered to shipped, and another 7 days to finally arrive on September 7th 2016. My overall experience with XOTIC PC was all right; PROS: great sales team members, easy to communicate through chat, you can build a customized machine. CONS: my biggest gripe would have to be with the amount of time it takes to go through the phases, between both orders I waited over a month. Patience is a virtue lol and Danielle H really helped calm my nerves by keeping open communication. I would highly recommend people to seek her out, if you need assistance with purchasing a PC/laptop or help with a current order, she is awesome.
