Just received my Asus laptop from Xoticpc. Mods were minimal, more RAM, upgraded SSDs, stripped Win 10. Assembly, attention to detail, cosmetically clean were all as expected and the laptop performs way better than I expected. Payment processing was a bit slow (I paid credit card), but all other steps were done quickly and shipping was fast. Accessories offered are overpriced and they did put an Xoticpc sticker on the machine (small neg) that I removed. Sales support and tech support (I contacted tech support once) were also fast and right on. I would buy again from my NE friends at Xotic.

My order was processed, invoiced, and paid (including rush build) on January 4th, the first business day after I placed my order. It is now the 11th and my order hasn't even started the production phase. It took 2 emails and a phone call to learn that it could take a up to 2 weeks from payment processing before the build begins even with the parts in stock. I was told on the phone by customer service/sales that there was no inventory delay on my order, but they couldn't tell me when the build would start and I had to push to have them actually look into my order details. I told the sales rep my frustration over paying for rush build, then learning after placing my order that it could take an undisclosed amount of time before the build phase starts. The rep acknowledged that the description of the rush build was misleading. I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth, $1,600 poorer, no laptop, and no information on when my laptop will get to me. I would recommend staying away from Xotic until they resolve their expediency, customer service, and deceptive ordering practices. Update: Xoticpc has made a good faith effort to make things right. I wish they had been more straight forward with their production and shipping promises prior to ordering, and providing more clear communication during the build phase. But! Alex, the customer service manager has reached out to me, provided the information I was looking for, and is pushing my order into the production phase. I have updated my rating and will do so again once I have received my order. Final Update: I received my order today and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Alex for pushing through my order, the frequent updates, and personalized service. I love the laptop and am happy I decided to customize the build through Xotic rather than buying off the shelf.

Update: After posting a review here I was quickly contacted by a Xotic PC representative and offered a full refund, this has gone a long way in restoring my trust and I have updated this review to reflect that. It seems the much of the confusion was due to mixed signals from an upstream parts distributor. However, if your order is at all time sensitive I would definitely recommend speaking with a customer service representative at the outset to better clarify the expected time frame and parts status. The time-line for my experience with them is as follows: 10/30 Place order for machine online. 11/2 Credit card payment is processed and a confirmation e-mail is sent (estimated time for parts allocation is roughly 3-8 business days but this is not guaranteed). 11/17 Called to get an update on order status. Turns out they are still waiting on the machine from the distributor but they made no attempt to contact me about the delay, and the representative can't tell me when it will arrive as he doesn't have access to that information. Tells me to call back at the end of the week. 11/20 Called again on Friday, different representative who seems to know more says they should be receiving a shipment that day. Tells me to call back on Monday if I am not updated. 11/23 Not updated, so I call again, this time a representative says they didn't get any shipments that past Friday and has no idea when they will come in. At this point it has been 3 weeks since I placed the order and I can't wait any longer for a replacement, so I cancel my order. They tell me it will be 3-5 days before I am issued a refund. 12/4 Contact them again to see when refund will be processed. Transaction is finally processed on 12/5 and posted 12/9, minus a service/re-stocking fee. 12/10 Very quickly after posting a review here, I was given a full refund of the re-stocking fee, and told that they are considering changing their cancellation policy in the future. In light of their effort to make things right in the end, I would consider them when making future purchases.

I ordered a computer for my son as a Christmas present on Dec 9 . It is now January 4 and haven't receive the pc I tried to contacted them by phone , tried to chat , sent them an e-mail and no answer at all. when I called no representatives available spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to speak with someone. This is not a good for a company that advertise to be all that , I am not sure if they are even legit . I am extremely frustrated about my order seems to me they don't care about customers no updates on my order nothing. (Edit) In contrast, XoticPC has notified me that they've been held up due to a massive influx of orders, most likely because of the holiday season. XoticPC has contacted me by email, and sped my order along. They were sorry for any problems that the order being held back caused. Don't turn away from XoticPC just because of these reviews, they simply had a little trouble with the holiday season. And for the record, after my review, a Chief Operating Officer of XoticPC contacted me, and sped my order along. This is a amazing company. After the computer I ordered seems more than just a tad outdated, or in 8 years a brand new one is on the market, I'll be sure to try and order it from this company.
I bought a p157sm from Xoticpc a few years back and it stills runs pretty great. The 780m is starting to shows its age, but with the customer experience and customization options available from Xoticpc I'll be looking to them when it's time to upgrade! I really love the full screen wrap :)

I recently purchased a Sager through XoticPC. It wasn't the first time I have worked with them. I have never used a Sager, but it was recommended heavily to me for my purposes by Matthew. Man, was he ever right. This model is really perfect for me in every way. I really took my time too, looking at every option and asking questions. Off and on for months really. Matthew was always ready to help me any time I needed help thinking through everything. These guys are legit. Custom laptops can have their issues, but these guys will take care of you.
Love my computer, great support great pricing and overall good experience till I lost my headphones. And unless you compare their shipping times to Amazon's 2 day shipping, everything seems to be pretty great about this company.

Shopped with Xotic PC before. Gaming laptops and custom upgrade quality makes me happy. Customer Service and Sales always helpful. However, Xotic PC's shipping department screwed up my order that was delivered this week. Laptop was to be shipped to my business address, directly to my office. Delivery label had only a partial address, so FedEx didn't know which department in my building it belonged to. Laptop got lost as the mail room had to figure out who ordered it. Spent time running around the building trying to chase down my package. Also, order promised me game codes for two free games (Rainbow Six and Warhammer). No game codes delivered as of yet. Given a free Android Smart Watch, which was a cheap non-working Chinese brand. Can't complain too much since it was a freebie. Nice surprise in my laptop box was a Xotic PC chocolate chip cookie. Made me smile. Overall, I'm happy with the hardware, not happy with how it was shipped. Will continue to do business with Xotic PC.

I first purchased a laptop from these fine folks 4 years ago and had a great experience. I just bought another one as that first laptop was showing its age.
Great experience with placing order and making payment. I wanted a Saeger Laptop, and Xotic PC had it for the same price as Saeger but offered a free smartwatch or bluetooth speaker, so I ordered through them instead of directly through Saeger. They called me and confirmed my order, which makes me trust them with my credit card info. They also explained that I wouldn't have to pay CA sales tax since Saeger ships the product from CA to Nebraska and Xotic PC ships it from Nebraska to CA. This saved me about $100. The only issue I had was that when the laptop arrived in Nebraska it mistakenly sat at their office for a couple days because they had marked it as needing modifications by them. I believe the only modification was to put the free smartwatch into the order. So it was delayed a few days getting to me. But it is now on its way to me. Their customer service has been top notch. I'd recommend them.

Processed and sent the laptop I ordered promptly. The many customization options are nice, and the customization interface is straightforward and clear, with a number of cool way to personalize a device. I was very pleased with the free game offers bundled with purchases. I believe that the customer service deserves special mention. I did not receive the previously mentioned free game offers with my purchase, even though I had put all the necessary information in with the order. It took only a couple of minutes with their online chat support and everything was taken care of. The entire experience was extremely pleasant.
The Force 1761 I bought from them years ago still works great. Actually upgraded the GPU to a 770m at one point.
I Ordered my first gaming laptop 4 years ago and its still going strong. As an international customer its not always easy top to have a retailer ship directly to you without using and 3 party handler. With XOTICPC Gaming is always just outside your door.
I have purchased two labtops from them now and have been very impressed both times. Customer service is some of the best out there and if your looking for a high powered laptop for gaming or engineering or other like tasks I consider them the best option by far. They also are able to answer my questions no matter how complicated or silly and help me find the best deal. They sell a great selection and have some of the lowest prices around. The the ability to customize your computer and the extra services they provide is what really makes them special though. You can add or take away just about everything and the prices for it are about the same as if you did it yourself. They also check everything out to make sure it works and will preform extra services like adding copper heat sinks or custom skins and designs. Personally I always get their cooling upgrades cause any laptop with a cpu and gpu is going to get hot. Overall I have had 2 great experiences with them and i often suggest them to other people over Newegg, Amazon and especially best buy.

Because of my great experience with the first laptop I purchased from XOTIC PC, I looked to them first when I needed a new laptop. Again they provided the best MSI laptop at the best price among their competitors. They've earned my trust.
Few bumps along the way but they were very helpful sorting everything else product was just what i ordered salespeople were very helpful and understanding.
I would fully recommend anyone who is looking to purchase a new PC to do it through XoticPC. They have excellent prices and deals at all times and I've always had pleasant experiences working with the company itself. Assisted my aunt on buying a Sager NP8151 gaming laptop for my cousin as a present and everything went well, the chat support is very accomodating they will assist you as far as they can, no hiccups, no delays and the product arrived earlier than expected. My only concern is that their website is kinda messy or something. Some radio buttons doesn't function very well but other than that everything is good the service is good. 5/5
I ordered a $2300 MSI Ghost Pro 002 laptop. Took about two weeks to ship and I was kept informed along the process. However, due to personal reasons, I had to place my order on a weekend using only the website, which didn't really provide enough details in my opinion. The computer arrived and mostly works well. There are definite problems with the Killer wireless and Windows 10...BSOD code 0x000001d8 (which apparently is due to Qualcomm drivers), problems where Windows Explorer won't display at all (which is apparently due to booting when no wi-fi is enabled) and finally having DNS not resolve pages at times (workaround is disable bandwidth control on Killer wireless). Overall experience with computer was decent other than above hassles. However, I didn't get to use the $45 dollar USB laptop cooler I ordered until about 6 weeks after arrival. Once I opened the box, there was no cord for the USB. The only port on the cooler unit was a circular DC input. So either they sent me the wrong cooler or sent one without a USB to DC in adapter cord. Either way, it was wrong. Also, it was total cheap junk! Would have never ordered it if their website actually showed any photos of the accessories you're getting. So, I contacted their customer support multiple times and they simply refused to do anything about it since it was beyond their return period. I buy a $2300 computer from them, they ship me the wrong/missing-parts unit and they won't budge a lick. At this point, it's clear to me that they make their profit off selling crappy accessories that are intentionally not detailed or photographed on their site. It's like the profit car dealers make on the options. I won't ever purchase from XOTIC again. This is terrible business tactics. I'll be sure that all of the guys in my gaming group also avoid this company if I have anything to do with it. Apparently it's worth it to them to stick me with this useless $45 cooler rather than keep me as a valued customer. ===== Update: An XOTIC PC manager has reached out to me upon seeing this review and has decided to resolve the matter. He has sent along an RMA for me to return this item and get a refund. I will update once again after resolution has been finalized. ====== Update: Matthew at XOTIC has been in constant contact with me since this incident and is being very proactive in getting things resolved. I will still update this post upon final resolution, but Matthew has been pleasant to deal with and eager to help. ======= Update: Matthew at XOTIC has accepted my return and posted credit to my account. At this point, the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction and I'm raising the review to four stars. However, I'm going to leave it there because I still think the XOTIC website has some serious flaws w/regards to providing enough details for purchase of accessories. If that's not addressed, these problems will continue.
Xotic is awesome everything I would ever need in a gaming pc
My experience with Xotic PC was actually rather disappointing, but I suppose it may be my fault for buying one of their lower-end laptops. I bought an ASUS, which was a HUGE MISTAKE because of the poor quality. I had to wait two or three weeks before my laptop was shipped from Xotic because they didn't have the computer I ordered in stock, so that was a hassle, but after that Xotic was pretty good. Their one on one customer service works very nicely. The one big problem is that the ASUS laptops that they sell are very bad. Edit: After posting this review, XOTIC reached out to me to try to make things right. They offered a bit of compensation for the trouble that I had, and the representative excitedly offered his personal service should I want to order another computer from them. It was nice to her from them so promptly when it had been so long since I purchased my laptop (over a year).
I have purchased two laptops from Xotic PC over the years and the reason I go back to them is that I know exactly what I am going to get with the amazing customization options available and real people I know will work with me. Over all the internet you wont find a more solid place to purchase a laptop or PC that you know will stay with you for a long while. I only have one thing to note, Customer service wait times can be long but that's only because each representative is helping another customer with the same time and dedication they will show you when you reach them. They treat me like a human being and in turn appreciate being treated like a person too. They are real people who genuinely want to help you if an issue pops up. I will always come back to Xotic PC for any new laptop needs.
I purchased a Sager np 8268-S from Xotic PC a while back. The purchase went somewhat smoothly and i got my laptop in the end. The shipping caused some frustration, but that was mainly the fault of FedEX. When i ordered my laptop, it advertised being bundled with the game the WItcher 3. I couldn't find any game code in the box nor could i find anything online about it. I sent two emails to them over the course of the year with no success. It wasn't until the third email that i finally got a response. They were very prompt and answered my questions in a timely manner. I guess the problem with my first two emails was that i put in a pretty sketchy subject line.Overall, the experience with Xotic PC has been satisfactory and I'm comfortable with buying from them in the future.
I found XOTIC PC by accident when looking for a new gaming laptop. I was looking at Alienware and found XOTIC PC as a vendor. When I wrote XOTIC PC and asked about the best gaming laptop and I was looking at Alienware, Matthew N. came back immediately with a recommendation for a Sager laptop. Not being familiar with Sager, I did some research and then told Matthew that I didn't like that particular model so he recommended an alternative. That turned out to be the Sager NP8678-S. I easily modified some of the options and placed an order. All the emails I sent to Matthew were answered within 30 minutes of being sent. From 12 April until my new laptop arrived on 19 April, I received some kind of status email telling me the Phase my purchase was in. Every email fully explained the XOTIC PC process and always said they were ready to answer any questions I might have. On 19 April, 7 days after placing my order, I received a brand new Sager laptop. I had requested no badging, a 500GB SSD, and Windows 10 Pro as upgrades. All were there exactly as ordered. Additionally, Windows 10 was fully loaded and all drivers had been installed. I did a Windows update and only had to download a daily Defender file. I didn't know that XOTIC PC existed until I went shopping for a new laptop. I know now that this is the place I will come back to if and when I need a new machine. They have desktops also. I have a lot of friends that are already envious of my Sager, so XOTIC PC might just be getting some more orders. I would highly recommend this company if you're in the market for a new PC.
I ordered a brand NEW MSI gaming laptop from XOTIC PC and was given a laptop that didn't have a working screen on it. I called and was told to fill out a form to get it fixed. It's been more than 2 days and I still don't have a response. Now my "brand new" laptop is just sitting here doing everything else besides working. Update: I was amaze on how fast they responded after my negative review. Josh T helped me out right quick.

Hands down, the best customer service I've ever encountered from an online company! Let me start by saying that I am very tech savvy, having had my own computer repair and support business for several years. So I am a very particular customer when it comes to technology and computer products. As such, I did an extensive amount of research before I decided to contact Xotic PC in regard to a custom build laptop. I was thrilled to know that I was dealing with a company that is located right here in the the good old U.S.A., but above and beyond that, from the very first contact, I was impressed Xotic PC! Starting with the level of knowledge and expertise that the sales reps have about their products, as well as their professional communication and follow up to questions! Then once I ordered my system, I was again impressed with the communications via email and phone by the technician that was assembling my system. Yes, I said communication via PHONE, with a live person who was actually personally working on my system build!!! Anyway, due to a configuration conflict, I ended up ordering a different system, and the person in the accounting dept who assisted me with the change order and processing of new payment was also awesome, with communication via both email and phone! And finally, when I had an issue resulting from something that was overlooked prior to the system being shipped, the customer service rep who assisted me with getting the issue resolved was also amazing! She immediately went to work on an answer and a solution, and made me feel as if I was their only customer! She was great, and I couldn't be more impressed with her efforts, as well as those of her co-workers. And it didn't take days or even hours...she had answers and a solution in less than a hour. I was blown away! In a day and age where old fashioned customer service has become a thing of the past, at Xotic PC, it's still alive and well! What an incredible breath of fresh air! And the peace of mind to know that you are working with a company that has that kind of business ethic....priceless!!!
Good overall experience. I do think that the website could use some fine tuning, to make it a little more user friendly. However the questions I had were able to be answered by both Live online support and the telephone sales team. again I had a good overall experience and the price was right. I would shop here again in the future.
Update: After making a purchase elsewhere, Alex the Sales Manage, continued to contact me to try address my frustration with the original purchase. I explained multiple times that I had already moved on, but he remained persistent to do anything to make it better even knowing that a purchase would not be made. While still frustrated with original situation I cannot deny that the efforts of Alex were not of a higher standard than most places Ive done business with, especially when he knew there was no monetary gain from that effort. Its unfortunate that circumstances lead me to moving to another retailer for my most recent purchase, but, because of his efforts its probable that I may look into/recommend Xotic pc for future purchases. Previous Review: The customer service with this company is abysmal. I placed an order on the 1st and did not receive any real notification until the 12th, when I received and email stating the product was out of stock indefinitely. While I can accept that the item I originally wanted was no longer carried, what I am upset with is that it took near two weeks for this to be brought to my attention, especially after I submitted two tickets over the course of the two week period, and, to only have one of the responded to. Once I was able to get a refund processed, the 13th, it took another week to have the money deposited back into my account, during that time I submitted another ticket that was not answered as well. This entire experience took 20 days to get through with nothing to show for it. Once the money was back in my account I was able to find the laptop elsewhere(easily) and placed it on order for 3 day shipping as Ive grown tired of waiting. It came in the following day. I strongly advise you to avoid xotic pc should you want anything done in a timely manner

Everything was great except your chat box is not functioning properly. I was able to chat initially with Emily, she was fantastic help. I closed it, then had another question. I entered my name and email again but chat box didn't pop up. I tried alt-tab and everything I knew but there was no chat box. I could hear a prompt sound when the agent typed and hit enter, but never saw what they were typing.
First off let me just say that if you are in a big hurry for a custom built laptop then Xotic may not be for you, with that being said, I ordered a MSI GT72vr-063 on November 30th and have made a few upgrades to the RAM and the SSD. As of today December 16th 2016 my order is in the 4th phase of the build out of 7. They have given me progress reports throughout the build and answered every question I had very quickly. I financed this laptop so it took a little more time to process but so far I am very satisfied. This is my first gaming laptop and I am glad that I chose Exotic for this build. Thank you, now get to work on my order !!! :)

Last year I ordered a MSI GS40 Phantom for cyber monday and got the best possible deal from Xotic PC. I was able to upgrade the SSD, Memory, got $100+ in games, and changed my logo LED for the retail price of the the original laptop. At first I was skeptical because I didn't know many things such as warranty, or how the deals worked but I was able to use the little helper thing on the website and a guy instantly began helping me and answered all my questions instantly so I bought the laptop. Also, after I got the laptop, I didn't quite understand how to get my game codes so I used the helper thing again and another guy came on and just emailed me the codes within 5 minutes, that simple. I really don't regret using Xotic PC and whenever I plan on getting another prebuilt computer I'm definitely using them again.
I bought a laptop about 2 years ago with Xotic PC and it is working EXCELLENT. I customized it at the time of purchase to make sure if I wanted to have it for a long time that it wouldn't need too much of an upgrade, which was worth it since I should get a better graphics card ;-)

I bought 2 gaming laptops from XoticPC and it was an excellent experience. The price was the best in the market and you can customizate almost everything. I was outside USA when i had to buy them, so i did some chats with them asking a few things about payment, shipment and some technicals doubts, and they were very friendly and resolutive. Both laptops came at the estimated date and the customization was like i ordered. Also the technical service was great, when i had an issue with a sound software we did a remote connection with their technician and they solved the problem. So i really recommend them.
(FOUR STARS, because there is still a hiccup) I ordered a custom machine in November and it has arrived (Dec 5)! but there's a hiccup... While searching for a machine I found the chat function on the web page was bunk. I never received an actual human, after days of questioning (i am very thorough) I found a solid machine at Xotic. I got solid info from them. The email was effective, but slower. The call center was great. I received good intell that helped me make my choice. I pulled the trigger on an agile beast of a laptop. It arrived in the allotted time, which is nice. It was stress tested because it's custom, which is nice. But there is a hiccup. Despite the stress test, I am currently in the process of sending the machine back because there is a problem with the hard drive. Such a bummer but these things happen. The test is on. I will update my experience, which i must say, up to this point has been positive. The customer service is spot on, going an extra step to stay on the phone or send emails directly. When problems happen (and they will, such is life) its good to have people to talk to. I bought a beast of a machine from IBUYPOWER 2 years ago and a hiccup with them. They were not as human on the phone. I was talked down to and made to feel incompetent. The solution happened in a fair amount of time, but with little love from their customer service (I had to use my tech-know to resolve). Obviously I did not return to a company that thinks me a number and cattle to be herded. Hopefully Xotic is not just talk but will do right by me. (Update 12/7) LOSS ONE STAR: Tech support got in touch with me. The response showed a clear lack of attention. His support was directed at resolving things that were not problems, and neglected to address the machine killing issue. Because of this gross misstep I have deducted a start. BUT, we all make mistakes. redemption is still possible. (Update 12/8) Still unresolved. Waiting for tech support to contact me. (Update 12/8) GAINED A STAR: Had a great phone call with tech support. We are trying to resolve the problem. I have high hopes that things will be stellar. redemption seems imminent.

I've bought 2 sager notebooks from Xoticpc (NP5792 & NP6110) and am on the verge of buying a 3rd... I can't talk these guys up enough. I ordered a custom laptop from Xotic PC. First off I would like to say that this site offers quality computers at the best prices I have found on the internet after extensive searching. The transaction went smoothly and I encountered no technical difficulties on the website. The shipping process took a while, simply because my laptop had a lot of additional features that I had selected, but I was notified through each stage of my order being processed, which I really appreciated. Overall my experience was very positive and I will be looking here for my next laptop in a few years.

I placed an order last week and paid for rush production. After being in contact with them all week, I receive an email that the laptop I ordered is out of stock and they can not procure it for me. I wish they could have told me that right out of the gate instead of 7 days later.

I got 2 MSI GS7 3VR GRF systems to replace my and my wife's aging apple MacBook Pros. These are screaming machines! As a professional, I really appreciate how simple they make my life. I've got several VMs on the machine, running all the time and they never slow down. These are 17" 4k systems. They're thin and fit nicely in our old roll-on laptop bags. I can't imagine another workstation capable machine that is such a good all around system. Buy it!
Very good overall experience. Had to do a return and reorder which went very smoothly. My laptop was in good working condition when received.
Computer works well but they do not offer the Prema Mods UEFI. I recommend ordering from a Prema Bios partner if the bios aren't available to flash for your model yet.
Xotic PC has many options available to customize yur computer. There staff is highly trained and very friendly! I will always use Xotic for my PC needs!
