I m so so disappointed in the park services right now. We went to the park and had a wonderful time, thank you nature. On the way out of the Northeast entrance the roads were dangerous, snow and ice on the roads and we saw track marks leading off the road to suggest that someone slid off of the road. It was dark. I tried calling all of the Yellowstone Park services and not one answered. I waited on the phone for each one and they all just rang on forever. I still don t know what happened to those people or person. I hope someone reads this and goes to see if they re alright, or that they were already helped. The park is beautiful even in the winter, Park services could do better.

We've been to 30+ National Parks. Yellowstone is usually one of the best--we visit every Fall and this time visited during a snowstorm and in Lamar Valley saw coyotes, Bison, baby elk, and one of largest bull moose I've ever seen. Definitely an interesting trip in mid-October. Don't try driving in the snow unless you have 4WD--some visitors were not equipped for the weather.

Enormous and beautiful. I was here for a full day and barely scratched the surface. The geyser plains are amazing, but make sure you don't spend too long there or you'll miss out on so much!

Am always amazed at our earth's natural wonders. Everyone must go at least one time just make sure it is not the day that the volcsno erupts. Old faithful is not as faithful in its erupting as it used to be. Be prepared to have to wait until she ready.

This was even better than I expected. If you go, be SURE to check out the East side and the Northern areas of the park. The geysers are special, but there is sky much more to see. We came in from the Eastern side through the Shoshone National Forest. The mountain views are not to be missed.

Incredibly beautiful Park. So much to see and experience. Im extremely grateful this park continues to be protected and that I had a chance to visit. No picture beats seeing this place yourself in person. I definitely plan on visiting again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing.
Definitely watch for the animals on the road though, had one buffalo in front of the car, and one behind. They really don't care that you're there. Same with the elk that just casually strolled in front of us today. My favorite part has been they midway geyser basin. The stunning colors, and crystal clear water, I don't have the words to describe right now. Some of these pictures look like clouds in the sky, but it's actually a geyser in the ground(sorry, had to), at the midway point.

Must-see national park. Do it for two days at least. Plan ahead at least 6 months in advance and if you can stay near the park it's worth it. Distance is vast here and time flies. Have your camera ready and know the weather. Go early to avoid crowds and don't try to take a selfie with a buffalo.

We spent 3 days camping at the canyon campground. No showers but you can swim in firehole river :). I recommend going to the geysers after midday to get the place to yourself. Saw a cougar when we came in the West entrance around 11pm. Amazing, beautiful place.

WOW. I have always wanted to visit Yellowstone but coming here out did every expectation I had about the place. We saw an abundance of wildlife and all the different geothermal featured the park has to offer. The cafeteria by Old Faithful is well worth a visit if you are hungry - it serves really reasonably priced and yummy food and the building also has a lovely gift shop.

Way cooler the expected. So much to do and see, even our technology addicted children loved all the cool things we saw...old faithful, hot springs, the waterfalls and the magnificent canyon. We even had a few buffalo walk right past us on the road.

Top 5 favorite places I ve ever visited. Absolutely out of this world. We did a self-guided tour and drove pretty much all day and was able to visit most of South, East, and West Yellowstone. Planning to come back here as soon as we can.

Came here fully aware that it was high season (mid July), got in around 9am - there were already SO many people. We drove straight to the Old Faithful and made it just in time to see it go off. The crowd there was not as big as it gets later on in the day.

A long drive around the basin from Gardiner but it's all worth the eye-candies. Old faithful is truly magnificent and as are the prismatic pools and thermal geysers nearby.

Take the route around Yellowstone Lake and West Thumb. The sight of a large lake in the mountains is breathtaking. There are camping and hiking trails all over the entire loop. If you own an RV that is even better.

Perfect topping for our 2-week trip around the Rocky Mountains.

Was able to see majority of the park in 3 days. Lots of driving but and long days but was well worth it! Old Faithful was probably the biggest let down but it s still a must see. The prismatic pools and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone were my favorite locations. Other notables include the boiling mud pots and the hot springs located at the north entrance of the park.

Simply one of the most extraordinary place in American if not on Earth. Magical experience. It is quite far from the nearest convenient airport but clearly worth going to. 5 days was a good start.

Quite simply the most breathtaking place I have ever been to.
Nowhere on this planet have I seen more outstanding natural beauty.
It is a dream vacation for anyone interested in wildlife, nature and geology.

In addition the park is laid out expertly for visitors including first timers. It is so easy to get around and visit all the magical locations within the park.
There are simply too many great photos to attach but I have added a few. Enjoy.

Absolutely amazing place! Everywhere you turn is just a breathtaking view. It can get pretty busy at times so reserving your campsite is recommended if you plan on staying in the park.

We cooked all our own food but I was surprised to see the prices at most of the restaurants throughout the park were very affordable. I expected them to be higher for the convenience of not needing to leave the park but was glad to see that's not the case.

AWESOME place to visit. Unlike any other National Park. Our second visit and we tried out a guided tour this time with Yellowstone Vacations. Our driver John was very knowledgable and educated us with all kinds of facts. We did the lower loop today and will do a tour tomorrow with the upper loop. Were so glad we arranged these tours.

One of the wonders of the world.. You will see all the extremes - the lake, the mountain, the snow, the geysers, the fountains, mount burns and what not!! I wouldn t get bored if I visit in another season. The connectivity for mobile is very limited download the maps on phone or carry the prints with you when you drive around..

I loved Yellowstone, but do not make the mistake of eating in the park. Actually if you eat at one of the establishments not owned by the government they are ok, still fast food but ok. The park itself has plenty of eateries that are horrible. Probably the most unhealthy food you can find. Bring your own food into the park, or go back out to one of the towns to eat. They should be ashamed to call what they serve food and charge what they charge. Nothing like price gouging.

Yellowstone is an incredible place that everyone should visit at least once in their lives - especially if you live in the USA! We visited in June and the weather was gorgeous, although a bit chilly at night (something to keep in mind if you re camping). The park gets crowded with tourists in the summer but there s ample parking for the most part. Just keep your distance from the bison and STAY ON MARKED TRAILS!!! They try to keep the park in its natural state by not erecting many gates or fences but walking anywhere you re not supposed to is extremely dangerous. All you have to do is Google Yellowstone deaths and you ll get the idea. That being said - enjoy!!!!

I love this park. Just driving through is beautiful. We stopped here a few times, and each time discovered new spots, to camp, or just pull off and hike around. Truly a national treasure. Stop in one of the visitor centers to learn a little more about the area, they are glad to teach. I completely recommend this park for anyone.

The natural beauty is astounding. Old Faithful was a must see. Norris was also a lot of fun to see all the different types of gysers and pools. Lamar Valley is home to Buffalo (BISON), Bears, wolves, and tons of other wildlife. Got to see a bear scratching a tree, and a bunch of Bison.

Love this place, absolutely love it. Plan ahead. There is a cool app called GypSy that will give you a historic fun tour while you drive through, tons of fun. Also stay late and get a star chart app to see all the stars, that is something a lot of people forget to do besides the normal hikes and falls and geysers. Be safe, we saw multiple bears, wolves, and all kinds of deer, elk and of course Bison. Go to Lamar early AM at sunrise for best showing of bears and wolves and coyotes.

So amazing the views, the wildlife, the beauty of the entire place was breathtaking. Definitely recommend you spend at least 3 to 4 days there to get the full experience. A lot of driving and a lot of traffic jams caused by wildlife and they weren't even on the road.

I cannot put into a review exactly how great this place is, but here is a shot. The park is awesome...just awesome. So much to see and setup very nicely. The views are great and we saw tons of animals. The nature scenery here is great also. The kids loved it and didn't mind the driving that it entails. Only downside is that the food spots were hard to find. I get Covid rules, but how everywhere else can allow dine in but this place will not let you sit anywhere inside, is kind of annoying. We stopped for food and had nowhere to sit with our food. All picnic tables outside were full of course so having to stand there with your food that was all crammed into a paper bag was less than pleasant. Overall though, the park is amazing and we could have spent more time here than we did

Well, after you've been to the Tetons, Yellowstone...

Well, after you've been to the Tetons, Yellowstone is just a bit too big and too long of a drive. While geologically interesting - it's not a place you can expect something exciting at every corner. However, most people seem to think so and they chronically drive 5-10 mph under the speed limit... Everywhere. It's NOT Disneyland people!! There are 100's of thousands of acres here so wildlife is probably not going to leap out at every turn. Be patient, be considerate and for heaven's sake go for a hike. Best time/ way to see Yellowstone: after Labor Day or by horseback on a several day trek. Best hot springs pools: West Thumb. Best mineral springs: Mammoth of course. Best Geyser - not Old Faithful... Check out the entire basin and bring water + good shoes. Expect an entire day to take in the Old Faithful geyser basin.

I for one, loved it. Some people get mad 'cause the ground wasn't yellow, or the geysers stunk, or the ground shook. Like COME ON PEOPLE. THIS IS NATURE. THIS STUFF HAPPENS. But seriously. It's beautiful. 10/10 would do it again

Such an amazing experience! Like nothing else on the planet!
There isn t enough time to experience it all! So awesome!

Best places we saw on the Lower loop: West Thumb, Old Faithful, Midway Geyser Basin, Great Fountain Geyser, Canyon Village (upper and lower falls), Mud volcano, and Sulfur Caldron.
That took us about 10 hours!

One of the great places in Western America, Yellowstone lives up to the hype. There are few places, if any, that offers this combination of geothermal features, great forestlands, abundant wildlife, stunning waterfalls, nice facilities, I would highly recommend this amazing park to anybody.

The place has its name big enough so it doesn't need any description. In the top 3 parks in US. We spent over a week camping there.

One down side, comparing to other mountainous parks we have been to is that they drill into you the fear of Grizzly bears so much that we only took one single hike in the mountains. They even rent bear spray, and they push it onto visitors like it's your life at stake. This is the park where we mostly drove and explored only areas where there were people around. But even still, the park is so big that without any longer hikes there was plenty to see each day. Anyway, you will hear packs of wolves at night, all kids of wildlife. Incredible place!
