Travelled from Australia to see the worlds first National Park. I d do it differently next time by hiring a motor home and camping. That s the way to go. Traversing every day form outside the park became a mission. I rated it five star regardless of things that annoyed us. Some areas lacked toilets or were poorly maintained etc ...but in this modern world where outcompete nature its true lay something to behold. The US needs to take stock of the situation and restrict the visor numbers before the damage is done ... I feel.

The land of Geysers, hot springs, mud pots and Waterfalls! The sheer size of this National Park is amazing with it's own Yellowstone Grand Canyon! Top things to see Old Faithful, (with surrounding geysers.. Favorite was also Riverside is impressive, Grand Geyser, and Castle Geyser on the walkway by Faithful). Firehole Falls, Fountain pots, and Grand Prismatic Springs. We loved the impressive Canyons Waterfalls of Yellowstone grand canyon and was our first time camping in our RV overnight there, great campground, aaand the next day was our first time up to Mammoth hot springs and Liberty Park... Amazing!! We liked it better than grand Prismatic Springs and wish we would've had more time up at Mammoth.. It's Cascading waterfalls, and several miles of fun boardwalks, with a cute little town of gift shops and picnic areas, several lookouts and geysers up there as well. Boiling River was closed for now due to high rushing water. We loved Yellowstone! We will definitely be back for our 4th time there!

We loved Yellowstone! We hiked to some beautiful places, we loved Old Faithful and the prismatic geyser. We saw black bears, a grizzly bear and her cubs, wolves, pronghorn, bison, elk, a moose and her baby, mountain goats, bighorn sheep and some beautiful swans. I just wish other visitors would be respectful of the wildlife and stop speeding through the park. Slow down and enjoy.

$35 for a weeks pass or $89 for a ' Beautiful America' season pass, get this if you plan on visiting over more than a week, or different parks.
We are here during early October and some facilities are closing from end September . Mammoth remains open all year round. Old Faithful services close end Oct.
In one week we have experienced blue skies golden Aspens - rain and snow, but always amazing scenery, stunning volcanic landscapes. Bit light on animals though, we seemed to miss many of them, despite driving at an annoying 25 mile per hour!
This place needs your money, so visit, but don't leave rubbish ( yep, some do...) enjoy our weird planet, it's scary to think the crust is boiling and heaving so close to the surface.

There are not enough adjectives to describe this national park. It's a must for anyone's bucket list. Many boardwalks to walk throughout the park and many handicap accesses and accommodations. We went in August and the weather was ideal (72-74 degrees during the day and 30-34 degrees at night).

Beautiful park with lots to see if you like nature. One major negative part is their campgrounds and Yellowstone Website info is outdated and just does not give you proper info. Make Sure to try to reserve a campsite a few months in advance because it will be a headache trying to find a campsite. We always managed to find a spot but had to move each day even tho it appeared that the campground was at 50% capacity. If you arrive without a reservation, don't give up!! just keep asking for a site and they will give you one.

What can I say about it that hasn't already been said, it's just an amazing experience! I was especially impressed by how accessible it was for people with mobility issues as many sights can be seen from the car or a very short walk and there are ramps and boardwalks in most places.

Love this park but seems to be getting overcrowded as spring/summer season approaches. Restroom situation has declined tremendously in past few years as tourists unfamiliar with our hygiene customs have been trashing the bathrooms . Plenty of wildlife around- saw bear, bison, fox, antelope. Beautiful park!

Such an amazing view of nature, waterfalls, animals, hot springs and geysers !

The Old Faithful Cabins were a nice, clean, not very roomy, no A/C, but in July the temperatures were 71, with an over night low of 38. There was a heater which we did use! We were there 3 days and could have stayed longer!

We kept a record of the animals we saw, Canadian Geese, Buffalo, Coyote, Grizzly, Elk, Deer and many more.

The hot springs are so unique and range in multiple colors. There's even one called "Dragon's Den", with a sulfurous smell and rumbling sound from the cave!

With so many things to see and hikes to take (some minor ones as well), Yellowstone is a must add to your bucket list!

So much to do I wish we lived closer! We enjoyed the thermal features and animal watching. Spring time is great for seeing young bison. Check out a valley and stop to watch for a while. The rivers and waterfalls are plenty full in the spring thaw, beautiful rushing waterfalls. The weather was mild but there was a snow day in or weeks stay in June, you never know what will happen in Yellowstone!

This park is so beautiful. There is so much to see and do. Be prepared to wait in long lines as people stop to look at animals or animals block roadways. You definitely can't see it all in one day.

Where to start-it s Yellowstone-A Must See Experience. While wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, we saw elk, buffalo, deer, and birds. The waterfalls, other geysers, sulfur pools are all wonderful. Even the devastation old fires have an eerie beauty. Old Faithful blew pretty much on schedule (consider viewing from the back where it is much less crowded). We visited at the end of peak season, but still fairly busy with campgrounds and hotels filling up fast. Suggest planning your trip and booking hotels in advance.

The Grant Village campground had some good spots and some not so desirable. Our spot happened to be right on the road leading in and a few feet away from the restrooms. The nature affect was ruined with constant cars and loud people going to bathroom.

Gorgeous scenery. Went here on a trip, for Upward Bound, as a college student. The high schoolers loved the ride--we drove on charter buses. Saw several deer, and even a grizzly! Very cool experience. If you plan on traveling, take at least a week off, better yet two. There is a whole lot of land to explore and enjoy!

Breathtaking and great finds! The only down fall was the long wait for traffic.... and you have motorcycles weaving in and out cutting in line... some people even giving the bird while they are cutting you off in a line! Don't ruin it for others be respectful

The very best National Park. The weather was bipolar, but it was perfect for wild life viewing. The geothermal features are everything! The Yellowstone Canyon, Firehole Canyon, Mammoth Springs, Lamar Valley; all of these are a must see!! Camping in a tent was kind of harsh, because it got really cold at night! The freezing nights are worth it though and I am not one to choose the cold for anything; only for Yellowstone.

Wish we had had more time to get to all the sights. It is breathtaking - from the lakes and rivers and waterfalls to the wildlife, be prepared to take lots of photos. We only spent 2 days in the park and missed a lot. Two weeks might be enough time, but if you want to stay IN the park, make reservations at least 6 months in advance.

Yellowstone National Park is the most picturesque ...

Yellowstone National Park is the most picturesque place I've ever been! I joke with my friends that you can give a blind person a camera and they will take beautiful photos. The Grand Loop is about 140 miles round. It's incredible how much the scenery changes when you turn a corner. You can go from what looks like a canyon to snowy hills (Mammoth Springs) in less than a mile.

With beauty and wildlife surrounding you, it's hard not to be at peace and wear a smile.

I want to start a tradition of visiting Yellowstone National Park every 10 years. It's an ever-changing ecosystem and I'd love to see it evolve.

Place was awesome except the fact that the main places were literally 15+ miles apart from each other. Other than that geysers, waterfall, and the big lake was awesome! We saw wild animals such as deers and bisons, but the most amazing part was seeing this one white wolf on top of a cliff near the road. I didn t get to take a picture sadly but the memory of it was worth it . Almost thought it was a white cub but realized there s no white bears around here. Awesome trip!

Beat place ever. The old faithful is the most beautiful thing when it lets out it's boiling water. The rainbow place that shows off steam was very very cool! We got to see bysens, EVEN A WOLF! The cabin was big enough for 6 people and very high in quality!

It's a nice place and it's good that it exists for the wildlife. However I don't understand why it is so popular. It's mostly forest with a few attractions like Old Faithful and others. There are much more spectacular national parks in the US. I was a little disappointed. But Wyoming is a wonderful state, so it is definitely worth a trip.

Love coming here, the only thing that makes the visit horrible is the inconsiderate tourist stopping in the middle of the road. If that s you, please keep moving and let everyone see the wildlife. Don t get out of your cars to take a picture of the bear next to the road, we watched someone nearly get attacked by a black bear because he was out of the vehicle and 10ft away from the bear.

Yellowstone national park is so huge. You need 5 days minimum to see and explore. If you are going on camping that makes it more fun and need lot more days. It was fun filled vacation here. No words to explain. You can spot as many bisons, elks, deers.

The best National Park I have ever been to, and one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen anywhere on the globe. My only regret is not spending more than a week there. Five stars, will definitely be back.

A taste of the Frontier accessible from your vehicle! We were in the right place, at the right time and got to see Elk, Antelope, Deer, Fox Buffalo & Bears, not all in the same place, or the same day. So exciting! If you get a chance to go, PLEASE! View the animals from a safe distance! And if you see an animal, DON'T cause a "Bear Jam". The two lane roads are narrow and easy to clog up with inconsiderate visitor's vehicles and foot traffic.

The most beautiful place I've ever been. We planned a 2 week family road trip when I received my sons 4th grade every kid in a park pass. I naturally had pretty high expectations for Yellowstone and it completely exceeded expectations. Unfortunately, we were only able to spend 24 hours at the park but we fit in as much as we could. The only thing we didnt get to do is hike the trail above grand prismatic spring. The park is massive and you could easily spend a week there exploring and hiking. Just make sure you leave the pups st hims and grab some bear spray.

It was truly an amazing trip. Across the country to Yellowstone. See you in the. Old Faithful going off. I will remember for the rest of my life. And the Grand Canyon Gorge. Was breathtaking. Truly an amazing adventure. The hot springs was wild. Not a good idea to boil an egg in them. But if you do. Make sure nobody sees you. You could get in trouble. But my best suggestion would be have a few weeks to enjoy not just a couple of days I don't think you could see it all in just a couple of days it would be hard to see it in a couple of weeks from the buffalo to the elk to the American wolf so much to see I will definitely be back and bring the family with me again and stay much much longer. Saving my pennies right now I am. Enjoy these pictures from Yellowstone they will be quite a few. Enjoy thank you Yellowstone is awesome. A must-see

WOW!! This was my first time ever visiting Yellows...

WOW!! This was my first time ever visiting Yellowstone and it was a trip of a lifetime. We were able to witness a pack of 4 wolves stalk and kill an elk in Hayden Valley. It was an amazing sight to see. We traveled around the grand loop and spent just 3 short days here. In that time besides witnessing the wolves hunt, we saw black bear, a bull snake, horned owl owlets, elk and of course BISON....they are everywhere and if you re are entering the park through the West entrance plan for anywhere from 30 mins to 3 hour delays. The 2nd day we entered from the West entrance we sat in traffic for 3 hours because of the bison in the road. If I ever get the chance to come back I will NOT be using the West entrance. This park was the first national park and its beauty has only grown since it was established. There s tons to see at this national treasure and could easily spend weeks here without seeing everything. I challenge anyone who reads this to go outside your comfort zone and hike some trails and get out of your car. The average Yellowstone visitor travels less than a mile from their cars. Oh and lastly please do NOT stop on the roadways for pictures, be considerate and use the pullouts.

The park is probably one of the most impressive places in the USA, at least in my opinion. Thanks to Covid, it s not crowded this year and visiting is pretty easy. You d need at least 2, ideally 3 days to explore it by car and without taking many hikes. Add more days if you want to hike a lot or camp here. You may or may not see a lot of wildlife, but having a bear spray is a good idea. You will definitely see beautiful geyser eruptions and be prepared for some smells :) The ponds and springs are colorful and magnificent - let s keep them that way.

Read all the official signs and pamphlets carefully - every year there are people who get in trouble for doing something wrong.

Animals become more active at dusk so if you drive to one of the valleys you might see bison, elk, and other species. There are some restaurants here (like one near Old Faithful) and some service stations for gas and essentials shopping.

I ve also seen some people driving crazy - tailgating and dangerously passing others with no need for that at all. Please exhibit some patience and let s all enjoy the beautiful park. It s not a racetrack and there is no rush here.

In addition to geysers, ponds, and animals, there are some waterfalls, mountains, lakes, and canyons to see. Each and every of them being very pretty in their own ways.

All in all, it s a fantastic place to be, very unusual scenery and high concentration of wildlife in one spot. A must see if you re in America and the park where you have to be especially careful. Have fun!

The Outdoor Disneyland - for a small fraction of the Disneyland price. Absolutely stunning displays of nature, from thermal features to canyons, lakes, forests, meadows, and wildlife! And family friendly too (although parents will need to keep a watchful eye on younger children.

It was our first time visiting Yellowstone and although the park was beautiful we were very disappointed by the horrible attitude and lack of service of literally EVERY employee we met in the park. We never got helpful answers (or answers at all) to any questions we had. Employees should at least try to be polite and helpful, especially to first-timers who need direction or recommendations.

Absolutely one of the most exciting adventures ever! Every part of the park we visited was very well groomed and breathtakingly beautiful! The gorgeous landscape around us looked even more incredible as the huge bison, coyotes, wolves, eagles, swans, ducks, elk, etc appeared around us! Winter rides on snowmobiles and in coaches opened a beautiful wonderland for us!! Thank you!!!!

Beautiful park with lots for the family to see and do. If you love the outdoors, this beautiful park is something you don't want to miss. You can also see the Grand Tetons of Montana from the park. Buffalo, elk and grizzly bears can also be seen with numerous sulphur springs. Great family or couples trip as well.

As far as national parks go, this one is one of my favorites because of its uniqueness. The scope of geothermal activity in Yellowstone can t be found anywhere else on earth, and the wildlife viewing is outstanding. I think other parks have better opportunities for backcountry hiking and camping, but Yellowstone is far more accessible and family friendly than most other parks. Regardless, Yellowstone offers interesting activities for all fitness levels, and it is a must see for anyone mildly interested in nature and the outdoors.
