We go all the time. You must go to Lamar or Hayden Valley, the Great Prismatic Spring and Overlook (same parking lot as Fairy Falls), and Black Cauldron mudpots/mud volcano. There are so many things to see, but these are my favorites.

Must visit place if you are in USA or visiting USA. For visitors it may be difficult to visit as its remote place and at few places you wouldn t have any mobile coverage. Also its open mostly for 3-5 months only so time should be adjusted to visit the place.

Amazing. Awesome. Spectacular. Wonderful. Put it on your bucket list right now. Nothing else like it in the US. You won't regret the time it takes to get here. Spend minimum 3 days if you can.

We were only able to spend a half day here at this park but it has so much to offer. The park is so large and wide open that you can see so much just from driving from one attraction to the next. The most popular sites will be full of people throughout the day so we d suggest viewing them early. Old Faithful has only a certain number of times it goes off per day so that should be one of the first you visit since it is time sensitive and the times aren t all equally apart. This also gives you an opportunity to see what the park rangers suggest to visit and even see some of their informational presentations of the park. Considering there are so many unique features here it is cool to learn more about the park especially all of the hot springs here. One of the most popular and colorful is obviously the Grand Prismatic Spring. If you visit and want to see an aerial view you should stop by the nearby parking lot which has a trail that takes you to see the spring from above. This gives you some better perspective of the entire spring and the surrounding areas. We hope to be back for several days next time and camp at one of the many campgrounds they have along the rivers!

Absolutely gorgeous, definitely lives up to the hype. Bison will come right up to your car, it would be great to spend a week or two and really explore the park, but I was pregnant and exploring by car and then all of the big attractions were very accessible for me.

There's a reason this was Americas first national park. From Old Faithful, the geysers, hot springs, Grand Canyon Yellowstone upper and lower falls and the wild life! Saw a mama and her bear cub from a very safe distance and watched the cub climb up a tree. Herds of buffalo with one of them walking right by the car. Truly an American gem. Couldn't see or do it all so plan on a second trip!

Went here in late September with the family. It was rainy and a bit cold but the overcast created some beautiful scenery. It was not too crowded for a Saturday and there was so much to see. Some highlights were the prysmatic springs, the Grand canyon of Yellowstone, and the wildlife. Spent most of our day on the west side and wish we could have stayed longer!

If I had to choose between this place or Italy. I would pay to come here versus a free trip to Italy. It was absolutely amazing. We only did one day. Saw most of the sites. Best time to visit is after 1pm.

Mother nature at her best. Yellowstone National Park is a beautiful undisturbed place full of amazing landscapes, wildlife and geological miracles. The drive up to the park is scenic and it's really nice between August and September especially right as the fall season begins. It's less crowded after the first week in September. Family fun and a great learning experience can be found in the town of Yellowstone and in the basin surrounding "Old Faithful", the famous gyser that has wowed me since since I was only a child. Obey the rules and stay away from wildlife and it's a great way to spend the day. I strongly suggest getting tickets at the IMAX theatre in the Yellowstone townsite.

Did not realize this park was as big as it is. Paid the $25 entry fee and it gives you 7 days of access to this amazing and beautiful park. Well worth the sights, experience and memories! Definitely going back!

Beautiful as always. Bring a variety of clothing with you as you explore as the temperature fluctuates by ~30 degrees in the various zones. We saw elk, buffalo, deer, a swan, and a bear in 1 day driving the Grand Loop. Notable events include a buffalo charging a car, elk 2 feet away, and an Asian tourist ignoring warning signs and walking into a geyser area with thin crust over scalding water to take pictures. On that last note, keep track of your kids. Although there are signs and some fences it is quite easy to get hurt if you get too curious (animals and environmental).

It s a really really big place!!! Make sure to gas up before going in so you don t waste you time looking for a gas station even though they do have some but be prepared to stop sometimes on the side of the road so be careful! Don t speed your way through the place and I definitely recommend you to stay in Yellowstone for a few days to see everything!! I only went in Yellowstone for one day and it wasn t enough!! Make sure to pack food and take lots of pictures!

Beautiful place, you won't regret going here. Just a heads up, you will want to book a hotel one year in advance. I was lucky to find one five months in advance. July is the busiest time of the year. We went the first weekend of June and it was perfect. On our way home, we drove by the Grand Tetons and I think I loved those even more. It's a toss up. My next trip is there. Also, you have to spend at least three days there to really get in the entire park.

Yellowstone National Park is like no other. It s so diverse, that there s something for everyone.
The drive alone is beyond gorgeous. Along your way, you may in encounter majestic Bears, beautiful Elk heard s, Swans, Moose, Geese, Birds of all kinds. You can t forget the massive heard s if Buffalo.
Not including fishing, pick nicking, and all the sights.
From water falls to magical thermal pools and hot springs.
The list goes on and on. Would love to visit again and again. You need some time or be organized enough to see things.

I guess you have to go to say you went but in the summer, expect lines, lines, and more lines, terrible food, overpriced coffee, traffic....all the usual suspects (the geysers, the bisons) are over-rated. The Tetons and Beartooth Highway were much better experiences in my opinion. Get the photo then leave...

What can you say about Yellowstone? Be prepared for traffic (that usually means cars are stopped for wildlife). Lots of driving to the sights you want to see, but once you get there it's worth it.

I'm used to travel in the US or elsewhere, and I must say Yellowstone is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The fact that you can meet a lot of tourists does not change anything to the magic. It is very big and you can find some places where you can be alone or alomost

So many things to see! A couple of days was not enough to really enjoy it. Lots of good hikes for kids 7 and up. Please note that most of the famouse views are boardwalks where pets are not allowed. We boarded our pup with someone in Idaho Falls and were quite happy.

Beautiful and full of natural wonders, but NOT a place for aggressive drivers. The traffic is insanely slow due to the natural wonders surrounding the roads, so those rushing to get through the park should steer clear. Relax and enjoy the scenery rather than having road rage!

Yellowstone is unlike anywhere else I've ever been. Of course there's beautiful views and a ton of animals, but what sets it apart is all of the geothermal activity. I've never seen anything like Yellowstone before.

By far the best park in the country, if not the world. It's unbelievable how well taken care of and protected, yet still wide open it is here. Great job by park rangers and guests who help protect the park. Seriously mind blowing how amazing this gem is. Brother in law has a cabin on the outskirts and the entire park that others don't have access to these remote areas always leave us in for an adventure. Best park in the world in my view, mother nature at her best!

What a great national park! Take your time, remember that traffic is a real thing and animals do get in the road plus it is a huge park so remember that it can take a while to get from place to place. Take lots of photos, but remember to use the pullout and not block the roadway. Stay safe, have fun and come back another time or four because you wont be able to see everything in the first trip.

Park was nice with well placed and well paved roads. HUGE bummer with hotel. Costs over three hundred dollars each night (which you need at least two) including a very nice 150 in TV (also known as a wall) and no wi-fi. The only way you could get it was pay $5 an hour. Even if you got it, it would take that full hour to look one thing up on Google (not even a YouTube video).

Really great place to experience true nature. Was walking on a trail and a bear came out on to it about 20 yrds away. Lots of bison, some wandering on the roads. Big Elk with massive racks. And these are wild animals, some may be use to seeing car's and people but don't think for a second it is safe to be up close. Carry binoculars or long lens camera. Also carry bear spray! Give the animals their space. Also wonderful scenery with boiling pools, hot vents, and gysers.

Hands down my favorite national park. We went in late August and the park was not crowded. It was so nice to walk around without a billion people. Everyone should visit Yellowstone atleast once in their lives.

Very friendly employees add helpful especially if you're lost. Impressed in the cost of the park $30 for a weeks pass. A very fun and amazing place to take children. The best part is being able to teach my kids in a Hands-On ish way. Tons and tons of places to go see that are absolutely beautiful. And to be able to see the wildlife so close in their natural habitat blows my mind. Hopefully the people that don't take the warnings about how the wildlife will hurt / kill you will be more mindful that way as people that do follow directions can continue to enjoy this wonderful uncle and that are forefathers I have set aside for us.

We spent nearly a week in this beautiful creation. God put such beautiful places on this earth that I can only imagine what Heaven will be like!! In Yellowstone, you come around a corner and it seemed the scenery would change. By far one of the top places in the world to go see.
