Does cost to get in the unless your military and have the military card that lets you get into any state park. Beautiful place lots of scenery. Park is huge. They have camping and hiking trails. I would recommend planning it out a little bit before coming here. Hotels get booked pretty quick and there's only a few pet friendly ones. Most are pretty expensive to. Good place to see wildlife especially elk and buffalo. Can get fairly close to them as well but remember they are wild animals. Would recommend picnics there. Also be a good idea to make sure you have a full tank of gas before heading into the park. I only seen one gas station in the park that goes for drinks and food as well. If you make it to mammoth inside the park they do have small gifts shops and places to eat.

The best National Park in my opinion, this place is truly magical. You wont be able to do everything your first, second, or even third time there, so dont worry about seeing and doing everything. Juat go, be willing to move plans around, and have fun. Traffic, and bear jams, are a real thing. Be sure to allocate for longer than expected travel times between destinations within the park. You'll love it. Go there.

Mid to late September is a great time to go! We had no trouble with parking at all. We heard there can be long waits for parking in the summer. It was incredible to see so many animals and spectacular views of nature. Worth the trip!

Yellow stone the place of yellow stones... we ll not really. Not sure why it s called yellow stone.
The park is amazing! Some of the most incredible of nature s beauties and mysteries lie inside this national park. God continues to work his wonders here.

The park is slowly getting overridden by tourism and begins to reach maximum capacity time and time again.

One of our favorite places to visit. Yellowstone has some if the most amazing geothermals. If you don't like crowds you may not like Yellowstone. We visited in July 2020 and we still had to way for parking spots to see popular sites. Definitely a must on your bucket list.

This is one of the planet's premier outdoor experiences. In the winter it was totally awesome. The guides are great, over snow vehicles are fun to ride, and the outdoor experience without the summer crowds is the best.

You know of all the major sights of Yellowstone, but I recommend really looking at the map you'll receive when you enter. There are amazing waterfalls, wildlife viewing opportunities, as well as unique views of surrounding mountains. This is a place that requires more than just a day or two to fully explore, and to find some of it's hidden treasures.

Great park with many beautiful places to see. The only bad thing about it is that during this difficult time very little people care about health of other visitors and do not wear masks and do not respect social distancing recommendations that are placed everywhere.

So heartbreakingly busy even midweek, but obviously one of the most diverse and gorgeous national parks. *Highly* recommend that you download an app called "Gypsy Guide - Yellowstone and Grand Teton Combo Tour" (or just Yellowstone, if not doing both parks)... awesome resource full of information as you drive along.

Super Fantastic, Natural geysers all around the place, sitting right on the top of alive volcano. Air smell is bit sulfury, but it's okey if you really want to see the wonder of nature.

Beautiful place. Such a huge park but worth exploring every bit of it. The different scenery and parts of nature are gorgeous. You definitely want to stay more than a day to get the full experience.

Yellowstone National Park is an amazing place with stuff for all ages. Lmar Valley is the best place to see wildlife. You can see bison, coyotes, and more. Mammoth Springs is so cool! There are so many geysers...Old Faithful is incredible, but there are so many other awesome ones as well. The Hot Springs are beautiful...they come in so many different colors. Everyone should definitely come here at least once during their life!

Absolutely awesome! We love the outdoors and hiking, and Yellowstone has amazing hikes. For non-hikers, many of the sites are easily accessible. We were lucky to see wolves at a distance. Also saw bison, bears, pronghorn, swans, elk and coyote. I cant say enough about its beauty. Fabulous.

Not a big fan of visiting "parks," due to the overwhelming number of tourists, and other annoying factors. That being said, Wyoming has a unique area of surreal looking landscape that entertains virtually everyone. From roaming wildlife to exotic pools of heat loving bacteria, its a photographers dream.

Yellowstone is absolutely gorgeous! It's huge, full of trails and pull offs for sight seeing. Visiting in the summer isn't terrible, even though it's the busiest time of year. Most of the main stops such as Old Faithful and The Morning Glory Pool were very crowded but aside from the big name sights it's relatively crowd free. Even if you're not a big outdoor person you'll be amazed by this park

Could it be more beautiful! Must see spots:
Fort Yellowstone
Lamar Valley
Lower Falls lookout and Artist Point
Hayden Valley
Lake Yellowstone
Grand Prismatic
Old Faithful or other geysers
And so many other quaint spots as one drives across this park.

Truly unique lands and mesmerizing landscape, we had an amazing time of three days, witnessing the natures wonders, wild animals like Bison, Elk, Deer, Bear etc. Old Faithful,Grand prismatic and Lower fall are my favorites. I would strongly recommend everyone to visit at least once in your lifetime.

Truly one of the most beautiful and diverse places on earth. From the scenery to up close encounters with wild life, I couldn't ask for more. And at 35.00 per car for unlimited 7 day access you can't find a better experience.

Yosemite is an absolute bucket list place to visit. Uninhibited by man and purely a pleasure to experience its natural beauty! From El Capitan to the mammoth sequoia trees aka REDWOOD TREE to the overall serenity of the park. It s absolutely breathtaking. Words cannot describe the magnificence and beauty of Yosemite park. Do yourself a favor and visit the great Yosemite park.... Who knows how much longer these national parks will be around.

Yellowstone is the first and best American National Park. Book your stay the year before as reservations nearly always fill up.

May and June have the best animal watching but it is still cold. July to September is best for hiking. The winter is extremely expensive to do right, but it us an absolute blast.

Loved it absolutely beautiful but you have to expect crowds and heavy traffic. This time of year wasnt too bad, I think we saw 80% of the park in 3 days but stayed in the park and started early.

If you are only going to visit one National Park in your lifetime, make it Yellowstone. This had been a bucket list for us for years and we were finally able to go, it did not disappoint. The variety of animals and natural beauty is unsurpassed. We have traveled extensively throughout the world and this is definitely one of the highlights of our travels. Go!

Amazing. The park has all kinds of wildlife, including big game. The canyons, geysers, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, trails, and views are unbeatable. There's a reason people travel from all over the world to see it.

Clean quiet nature at it's best. If Heaven is on Earth ,it is here.
There are so many animals to see:
Bear, moose, elk, wolves, ferrets ,marmots, trumpeter seams, golden and bald eagles, , coyotes, and so much more.
Bison next to the truck and walking through campsite. Huge ravens.

We absolutely love Yellowstone National Park.

We absolutely love Yellowstone National Park.

You have to arrive early to get a spot at the camp sites but they are wonderful. Everything is peaceful, the hosts are nice and you can see the stars on clear nights.

You can always see buffalo and elk and if you are lucky you can see bears and wolves too.

We will be back again.

Everyone must absolutely get out to this park once in their life. Sitting in Lamar Valley watching the buffalo walk by or walking through the Grand Prismatic Spring are life-changing events.

You need at least 3 days for the park for the feeling to sink in completely. Old faithful Inn and lodges seem to be the best options but really take whatever you like because you'll end up driving everywhere anyways. So for example you might ad well stay somewhere in grand teto . It's not much of a drive and yet beautiful.

Wildlife - Lamar valley, Hayden valley and soon as you leave yellowstone and enter grand teton,

Bears - early morning road to tower falls. Keep your eyes out

Birds - schwabacher landing

Must see Geysers n volcanoes- grand prismatic, mud volcano, old faithful is ok, mammoth hot springs is just amazing

Food - mostly in old faithful inn. But the one at mammoth hot springs is betternpricedni believe. U get ok burgers and fries.

Excellent accommodation spent many driving trips and rented cabins also in the beautiful lodge. The town is nice too but I would suggest staying and driving at least 4 or more days! Don't bother the wildlife, this is where they live.

Great experience. Check in with the park rangers for closed roads. We saw very little wildlife (maybe because we came for just for 10-/+ hours during the day time during the road trip. But the waterfalls and sceneries are stunning. Also, Old Faithful is a naturally magical site to see!

The most amazing place I have ever been. The entire park fits so many beautiful natural wonders you feel like you re on a different planet. Only spent 3 days here, and needed more!! Definitely check out the big attractions, Old Faithful, The Grand Canyon, Mammoth Hot Springs. You will not be disappointed with the amount of wildlife you see as well (we had buffalo walk down the road beside us). so great to know the animals have massive amounts of land to free roam, its like the worlds greatest zoo!

This was completely worth the title we had given it as the "reason" for our road trip. We were going on one regardless, but this was our known goal, the mid-game, the highlight, the peak of our trip! We were greeted by a coyote and tons of bison on our way in. There are bison everywhere just doing their thing and it was, apparently, completely normal. It was amazing to learn so much about the science behind the natural differences in everything from the water temperatures to the color of the rock. I couldn't believe the sights from the tops and the beauty of a geyser. We are all going to come back some day, hopefully soon!

Not enough ways to describe how beautiful and awe inspiring this park is. The natural wonders and wildlife are too numerous to count. So much more than Old Faithful, the park contains hundreds of active geysers and springs, a spectacular pair of falls in the "grand canyon of Yellowstone". We spent a week, probably could have spent twice as long and still not seen all the park has to offer. Bison, elk, black and brown bears, foxes, eagles and apparently great fly fishing comprise just a piece of the wildlife experience. If it's not on your bucket list, add it; if it is, go and cross it off!

IMO, nobody should be issued a passport until they've been to Yellowstone. You can't appreciate what the U.S. really is until you've seen this park and the surrounding area. And there are SO many ways to see it.

My first pic is something very cool. It was taken in an area destroyed by forest fire. Note the two little pines growing - knobcone pines. Their seeds only germinate from extreme heat (like a forest fire). They're called nature's parachutes. ANOTHER interesting thing about Yellowstone - you'll be walking around on a live volcano.

Camping facilities are excellent around Yellowstone Lake. I recommend Grant Village, because there are good showers/facilities and a store. Yet the campsites on the loops closest to the lake make you forget you're in "civilization". Little longer walk to facilities, but worth it.

Non-camping . . . forget the village at the West entrance. It's a tourist trap. Do what we did and drive into Montana. In a range of 25-40 min there are a variety of "dude ranches" where you can stay in really nice cabins and enjoy a horseback trip into the mountains for a view of all of Yellowstone below.

In the park, be prepared to drive. The loop is long. And it's the only way to take it all in. Do not miss - Old Faithful (but do take the trail around that area), Paint Pots, Yellowstone Falls, and the valley where you'll see the buffalo herd.

This is a true national treasure. DO IT!

My favorite vacation place to this day! Visited 5 years ago.. in my everyone should experience yellowstone at least once. There's so much to see though so make sure you have lots of time!

So many amazing things to see here! Got to see a bear in the wild for the first time!!! We stayed at an organized campsite inside the park and had to pretty much call it a night at 10PM and the spots are very close to one another, but we still had an unforgettable time! Can't wait to go back.

This is often considered the gold standard of National Parks. And not without reason. Old faithful is of course the most famous spot in the park, and the facilities are accordingly massive. The eruption is pretty cool and happens every hour in a half, but this wasn't my favorite sight in the park. Grand Prismatic is so gorgeous. You have to see. There are other geysers that smell of sulfer, avoid those. Sulfer will permeate your cloths. I have a shirt that still smells of silver two years later.
