It's a good zoo but a lil repititious. Don't go for the rides they're extremely mild and 6.00 each for a very short ride!!! It's way bigger than I thought so wear comfortable shoes!! There is a lot of animals and way too many birds!!!! The price is way too expensive!!!

This was the second time I have been to this zoo and it was just as good as the first. They are expanding alot of the areas which was great to see. Overall a worth it time with the amount of animals and the cleanliness of the grounds.!

Comparable to the San Diego Zoo. Lots of animals on display. Easy walking or take the the train ride. Lots of rest areas, refreshment stops and restrooms. So much better than the Phoenix Zoo. It's a little far out but worth the drive. Visited again 4/9/18. Baby mountain lions were so cute! Some new enclosures. Ate lunch at Dollops restaurant. Good food at a reasonable price.

Very nice zoo...love seeing all the animals pretty close. They seem content and comfortable. The big cat and many of the animals are on grass and all can find shade. Great variety of sea mammals and other sea life. A few nice rides, good for small children as well as parents. The giraffes can be visited and fed any time of day. We loved doing that

A bit primitive but worth the visit. Plan on staying the day, so much to see. Having never been before, we made the mistake of coming at lunch time to eat at the Dillion's shark tank then enter the park. Not nearly enough time. A long walk on dusty trails but, so many birds and animals to see. It's very pricey compared to other zoo's and animal parks I've been to. When you get inside there are lots of additional costs for the rides, so bring a big wallet. All in all, I would give it a 3.5, it's better than a 3 but not really a 4.

Could use more seating and bathrooms. The price of the food is high for not very good quality. Other than that they are making upgrades to give their animals better places to live. So it is nice to see that they are making that effort.

I really struggled with whether or not to give 3 stars or 4 but I went with 3 due to the cost of everything. I love the animals here and my kids have a BLAST!!!! But from a consumer/parent standpoint it's very expensive for what you get. First of all, I don't pay full price for tickets (we have a place that offers them discounted to us) but we still paid $24 per adult & $12 for the kids. So the discounted prices are way more do-able. However, the new rides inside are WAY too expensive. The high rise ride thing across the zoo is ok on price. It's $6 per person and lasts 17 minutes. I think for the amount of people who come they could lower that a little. The food to feed the animals has all gone up to .50 cents instead of .25 cents and you hardly get any food (petting zoo included). The amount of food you get fits in the kids' hand not an adult's hand. The price of the log ride is WAYYYYYYYY overpriced. For 1 ride, and yes I did say 1 ride down one hill, it's $6 per person. So we won't be doing the log ride again. The carousel is overpriced too. So all in all, don't expect to have any money left over to get something from the gift shop if you do the rides in addition to general admission prices. I'm not very impressed here anymore.....

Made me show proof of my service dog...had to leave my mom with dementia a mile away...while they made walk in the heat back to the front to show my dogs Id...thank God I had it with me...80 bucks for 2 people...not worth it...and illegal what they did to me...DO NOT GO HERE....ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY...I'm contacting my lawyer about the way I was treated as well.

The place is great. Entry into zoo is outrageous. 107.00 for 2 kids & 2 adults WITH 20.00 off for all four people coupon. Phoenix zoo is 200-300 for a year! This includes 2 adults & unlimited children! Unreal pricing but hey, place is packed.

It's a nice place to go. But it's very expensive to get in $39 a piece for adults. $20 for a child. And then once you're in the park. You still have to pay to go on the rides. Which is a little disappointing considering how much you pay to get in. Not to mention the food was overpriced as well

A bit expensive, But a very cool zoo. It s a great excursion, but if you are looking for an affordable place and you are closer to Phoenix, the phoenix zoo is cheaper and larger. The white tigers are the peak exhibit at the wildlife World zoo though. It definitely has some cool stuff if you are looking for an adventure.

I absolutely love this place there are so many more animals than I originally expected plus the Dillon's here is built into the aquarium so you can sit down and enjoy some lunch or dinner while watching the sharks.

This facility rivals the Phoenix Zoo in many ways and excels in others. We came in the what we later discovered was essentially the back entrance and were initially concerned with our choice. But after seeing the whole facility (and the planned expansions for animals we thought we're currently in small enclosures) we were impressed. Most of the the animals seemed at ease enough to be near the front of their enclosures (something we never experienced at PHX Zoo). The safari train, the aussie boat ride, the aquariums, reasonable onsite restaurants. Pretty good day out and worth the drive.

Pretty good experience. You get crapped on while feeding birds, your feet kill you because of the sheer size plus you get to touch fish that probably shouldn't be touched by our filthy human hands. The food was good for the cnote I had to drop on it and alcohol was served there so it definitely made a more interesting visit. Great place will go again 10/10

Three stars because this place is WAY overpriced. I wouldn't recommend it. Lots of animals to see, but still not a great deal. They should drop their prices during the hotter part of the year because there is hardly any shade on the property so it's too hot to be able to spend enough time to get your moneys worth. The best part was the sea lions! They were so cute!

Really awesome place!!! Took my granddaughter there for her birthday. Lots of animals and very interesting. This place is huge!!!! There is lots to see and kids would have a ball with all of the interactions with the animals. My baby loved to touch the sting rays. For $40 you definitely get your money worth.

Very very dusty!!! If you have respiratory issues ( you will have when you leave ) don t go!!! We were not told when we entered that cash was needed at all the cafes. Who carries cash?? Yes there were ATM s with a fee at the cafes. Cafes pricey $4.00 for a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar!!! Should have signs before everyone enters notifying them of the cash stance. Now about the gift shop..I bought a (one) pair of a child socks for $7.99!!! A 18 month tiny t-shirt for $16.99!!! Customers were walking in and seeing the prices and walking right back out.

I'm convinced the people giving this zoo the five stars it obviously does not deserve have not seen a proper zoo. The animals in this zoo lived in such small, lonely, dull exhibits it left me feeling shaken to my core and beyond sad. Half way through I felt as though I wanted my 34 dollars back because obviously the wild price for this place wasn't going towards better lifestyles for the animals. An advertisement I saw said, "Just don't call us a zoo." I agree -- it should be called an animal prison.

Fish were kept in tanks so small they had to swim in place, a hawk was chained to a perch, an eel was stuck under a rock and was panicking, when we told the keeper she said that they enjoy hanging up there, completely ignoring us. Snakes were stuffed in a small cages with turtles, other snakes were much too large for their area and could only stay curled up. I saw alligators that were stuck indoors and it made me question if many of these animals had ever felt the sun in the first place. There were about 4 small monkeys stuck inside an indoor cage and they kept pacing probably because there was no other way to expel their excess energy. The poor lemurs were stuck in what looked like bird cages, and the bird cages that housed several macaws were tiny. There seemed to be no real rhyme or reason as to where the animals were placed, and it made for some very tense animals. The baby animals were stuck in white concrete rooms with no stimulation or companions. Completely unhealthy for a developing animal. The petting zoo housed at least 40 animals and was much too small, as well. I'm shocked at how this place could get a 5 star rating from its guests.. Even if the cruelly small exhibits weren't disturbing enough, the bathrooms were a wreck and the restaurants stank of mildew. Yes, there were many animals here, but I would think it to be much more beneficial to have fewer animals living in a more humane environment than stuffing the zoo to the brim.

There are, however some less gut-wrenching areas for animals in the obviously newer parts of the zoo (which you have to pay an extra $5 per person.) I hope the rest of the zoo catches up and surpasses this. Still, in my honest opinion, I wouldn't go here unless you were looking for an example of how horrible captivity life can be for animals.

This place is really big and has so much to see. I had a great time here. There are a lot more animals here than the other zoo's in Phoenix. I was here for about 7 hours. I also tried the Dillon's Barbecue which was pretty good. We were able to watch this big fish tank with sharks in it while eating lunch. Really cool feature.

I was very unimpressed for the price. It was 39.99 per person and once your in you have to pay for "rides" and they are $6 per person. Also make sure to have cash because once you are in the park they don't take cards. If you're going to buy food its cash only. Same with the rides...cash only. Overall it was average. I wont go back and probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I would rather go to the city zoo but glad we checked it out. I thought it was overpriced for what you see. Also we were buying water from one of the vending machines and it took our money and one of the workers was very unhelpful and basically blew us off.

I enjoy this zoo, but as much as they charge you to get in you would think they wouldn't push patrons out of the zoo part half an hour early everyday. Their excuse is the animals are "sleeping" by then. It's still broad daylight out, and you're kicking everyone out after paying an expensive fee to get in. It just rubs me the wrong way.

Always loved this zoo. Only problem my family had was that there wss a 10 day old lama away from its momma and was trying to escape at every chance she had. Even though its pricy its worth it

This place has really expanded since I was there last. There are more animals. Also a number of rides and you pay for each so if money is an issue check this all out. If you go during the summer, some of the rides will probably be closed, but there is a lot of shade and no crowds. I like it better than Phoenix Zoo.

I love the people that run Hand and Stone they are a great family. They are helping a family for Christmas this year and the decorations there are wonderful such good hearted people and I must say the people that do the massages there are all great my all-time favorite though is Mark!

Purchased tickets on military installation. We also had coupons from the egg cartons that state clearly on the print with purchase of greater or lesser value tickets. When we went to cash them in they told us we were not able to use it. Spoke with the managers and they said they can t approve of it because we did not purchase a full priced ticket. No where on the coupon stated that even when they tried to prove us wrong. Customer service is terrible, extremely rude and do not honor coupons unless it s convenient to them. These people are crooks. Would never return here again.

Our first time here as we are new to area. Quite expensive for what it is...$40 for an adult ticket...ouch! Also, they have incorporated rides throughout zoo but each is a "pay as you ride". Costs of rides will vary from $3.50-6.00.

Lots of birds sprinkled throughout various animal exhibits. Overall layout is good, easy to navigate around. However, animals on display are very repetitive, plugged into exhibits just labeled differently... .

Seems like they're doing something right, they're expanding like crazy it appears. 3 star is based on cleanliness of park and animals seem well looked after.

Probably will not be back based off cost of entry. Our cost of day including eating at Dillans BBQ which is connected to zoo...$160.00 for 2 adults and 1 child...YIKES! Costly casual family fun day.

This zoo is amazing! We love this zoo more than the Phoenix Zoo, hands down. The only downside is location, but definitely worth the drive. They have many beautiful animals and they are all so close to you, unlike the Phoenix Zoo where you are so far away it's hard to see the animals at times. The food is just as overpriced as any major venue, so plan for that by bringing your lunch or some extra cash. We absolutely love to feed the giraffes and pet the stingrays. Overall, I would suggest this zoo over other zoo's any day.

We paid $120 for three people and nothing inside was included. We walked on dirt paths and was not amused. I guess I'm spoiled with Chicago area zoo's. I will never go back to Wild Life World Zoo. And I will never give a good review when friends and family ask about it.
