I love taking my girls here! Animals are in good view, lots of trees very shaded. Tips who haven't been here their concession stands do not except cards but they do have atms inside, exhibits do not have automatic doors for those who have strollers or wheelchairs so may need assistance getting in and out. The restaurant Dillions does except cards and has excellent food, the zoobertos isn't very impressive but has good snowcones. Rides are a little overpriced, about $6 ea.
You can take your snacks and water, be sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated during the summer months. All n all great park!
Wonderful zoo! Little pricey... $200 for a family of 4 :/
Very nice zoo. Can get very close to the animals. They all look well taken care of and content
It was a nice place to visit for my grandkids and niece to see after being on lockdown for this covic19. I personally thank God for his plan and power and grace that is working for the good of him to be enjoyed in a time of all this chaos. Be grateful for what we have recieved in these times. Thank you jesus.
It was nice to go and have a good day with the kids.
In some ways too large an area with incessant airflow planes above. Occasionally difficult to see anything in certain enclosures.
Always a pleasure to visit. The animals are often in sight, many are fed close to the fence and they get used to the presence of people. The aquarium is also a great place to visit. You can easily spend a day at Wildlife World and enjoy every minute!
The best thing is the aquariums the rest is just walking around silly, there's nothing interesting
The facility was clean and comfortable through out and the exhibits were very good but the extra ride type attractions were all rather expensive for the service provided.
What a strange place. The quality of exhibits is wildly variable. The various rides and attractions are cash-only, in addition to the steep price of admission. My elementary school aged kids enjoyed most of it. I am a bit sketched out that a large barbecue restaurant is integrated into a zoo. The aquarium was pretty amazing, as was the reptile exhibit.
Awesome time, well maintained, animals seemed very comfortable. Went with school field trip and the kids had a blast!
Everything was cleaned before we sat down and the service was great.
I really loved the animals and the fish its a really a great place for the family little pricey.
I liked it but I didn't like the way animals were kept in. Not enough room for the animals
We had a great time huge zoo walked 4 hours of fun took my mom exept for a VERY rude employee at a snack shack kinda had a bad little lunch
My whole family loves going to the zoo. This zoo has been great, and I love that they keep adding on and improving. The little animal shows are so entertaining. My favorite place is the indoor aquarium.
Had an excellent time at the Wildlife World Zoo on Saturday! The park is HUGE, there is so much to see and do here they even have rides, a lifts and a petting zoo. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and a sun hat. My group of friends was there for the whole day exploring and we still have to go back to see everything. Word to the wise: Bring Cash. They don't accept card in the park and bring quarters so you can feed the animals with feed from their dispensers. Also maybe some wet wipes if you feed the giraffes because they can be a little slobbery ;P
Kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Super cool zoo/amusement park! A little silly that you have to pay for admission and the cost of rides on top of admission.
Lots to see, and great for little ones! Make sure to have a stroller, to make the day last a bit longer than walking with them.
Best Zoo and Aquarium in the valley. Try Dillions for lunch!
I have been to several zoos and I just love wildlife world zoo. Its so up and close to the animals and it's huge the price is a bit steep but you can always find a groupon or coupon online. Bring some snacks and water you will be walking for a while. I like the new additions and I read on a sign the other day that they are expanding even bigger than the already big expansion to add 7 more acres. I just hope the price doesn't get over the top. Will definitely come again when I'm in town
Remember me guys on a condition of you guys today to say bye-bye never The chew good
The BEST Zoo and Aquarium experience for younger kids!
We spent a full day with our kids and had a wonderful time!
We love to walk around and look at the animals and appreciate their conservation efforts
Lots of walking, tons to see. Plan to spend all day there.
Love this place. Great for families, field trips and anyone who loves animals.
It was very wonderful lots of birds and interesting animals ill go back again in a few months
Great environment. Family friendly. Bring a cooler and pack drinks and lunch. Sky Ride and Safari ride are $6 per person per ride. Go to Groupon for discount tickets
It's a great place and is educational for all, exhibits are great the prices are a bit steep but worth the trip
Great kid friendly atmosphere, a ton to see and do, especially if you include a visit to the aquarium.
This is a great place to visit, lot's of interesting animals here
Great zoo. Don't plan to snack or eat there though. Small popcorn, M&M's, Pretzel $4.50 each.
Had a good time, not exception was it was hot and all the water fountains were as hot as.the air. Also only two rides were operational on weekend. I would suggest waiting for a cool day and bring some nice walking shoes
Kinda expensive but it is a private zoo. Pretty neat though, we have a membership. No elephants which has me bummed
First time we have been there. I wish they had elephants and stuff. I am a big fish person and some of the tropical fish made me think about my early days as a kid... I had oscars, pacus, silver dollars, jack dempseys, etc. I was more impressed with the fish over the rest of the area. They did have a large collection of birds. It was worth it for our family. We will not go back for years as now we now have been there. Also, dont go there for the rides... thats not what you should be there for... the animals. Although I hate seeing animals kept in cages this is what our country has gave us. I love reading the history behind each animal.
They've really done a great job on the upgrades since I was a kid. Very expensive. Almost $40 a person!!! That's why 4 stars. Is it worth that much... Not sure. But if the weather is good and u don't have a huge family, then I would recommend.
A must see in the greater Phoenix area. This is the best zoo that we've ever been to. Plan on no less than 4 hours. We spent 6 hours, including lunch at Dillon's BBQ (felt wrong, but was really good) and that would not have been enough time if Adventure Land was open. The zoo and aquariums are on 215 acres (including buildings and parking), so be prepared to walk a lot. This is a privately owned facility by people that love wildlife and take excellent care of them. The grounds are very clean and since the facility is so large, you won't have to deal with crowds and pedestrian traffic.
So fun! Lots of different critters to look at, plus rides!
You can get really close to the large cats. The aquarium is really nice.
Kids love the petting zoo. Love the little touching pools in the aquarium. Has rides and a water ride. Plenty of animals to see, unfortunately no elephants.lol Great place to have a good time with the family. It is a little expensive but what zoo isn't? They have some little places to eat in the zoo, but I would recommend the bbq place right next door.
Exceeded my expectations. Tons of animals and marine life exhibits. You can easily spend all day here. Make sure to go check out the animal nursery. There were baby lion cubs, foxes, and warthogs. Awesome time with the family.
81 dollars for 2 adults and a 4 year old, 19.50 for 2 mediocre hot dogs, bag of chips, small bowl of canned fruit cocktail, and two small bottle of drinks. This zoo is a disappointment. The animal enclosures are not at all suited for them. They do not resemble their habitats and therefore provide 0 in enrichment. They have ample opportunities for feeding some animals, but it is all pellets. Even the food you feed the Giraffes is pellets, all of which you have to buy for .50 cents per small handful. The animals did not at all appear happy except for the Giraffes, and Koi. They had "touch encounters" with some animals, mainly the stingrays in the aquarium where you can feed them. They have way to many Macaws and all over the place. After a while it was like.."yeah...another parrot". They did have a beautiful white male peacock. They have several carnival style rides which were all working but not every one was riding. The carousel was small and sad looking. One of the songs was rather depressing. The main type of enclosure that this zoo that is endorsed by "Jungle Jack Hannah" is in the form of CAGES!!!. In my opinion, if you are wanting to visit a zoo in the metro Phoenix area go to the Phoenix zoo. Costs less and the animals are visibly happier and their enclosures are more suited to their natural habitats. That is 100+ dollars and 5 hours I will never get back. The only bright spot is the Lorry Parrot feeding, and feeding the stingrays. Other wise no. Imaging a 7 foot salt water crocodile in an 10 foot by 6 foot enclosure in a wall. Or a performing seal lion in a small tank that he swims in circles in. Sad place, and a disgrace.
Well worth the visit... or 10... best get a membership. It is TOTALLY WORTH IT!!
Great place. Well laid out and lots to see. Animals looked well cared for.
My family and I had a great time. We got to feed giraffes, ducks and goats. Theres many things that are closed due to Covid-19 but there's a lot to walk and see. Masks are required but not really enforced. There are plenty of hand sanitizing stations. Bring quarters to feed the animals they charge 0.50 cents.
Pricey, the animals look extremely bored, a lot of dust & dirt & a ton of walking.
the poor parrots and animals are not getting what they need they are plucking their feathers and have diseases happytails on youtube addresses this very clearly
Fun for the kids. Lots to see. Lots of walking. Animals are well cared for. Liked the rides, but food and rides are really expensive! So is gift store. A family of 4 will spend $125 to $200 for entrance, couple of refreshments, and 1 or 2 rides.
Big outdoor space. Very expensive though, $45 per person. Got 50% off on groupon. Would check for coupons before going.
You can really get close to the animals here. The tram is definitely worth the fee.
This place kills the Phoenix Zoo. There's no comparison. It's a decent drive from the valley but it's totally worth it. Make it a day visit. Hard to believe all the different kinds of animals they are able to have here.
Very large area. We walked about 6 Miles and they are expanding. Some fun interactive shows
Literally tons of exhibits. Rides are available so expect to bring some extra cash. We were there all day with plenty to do. We used a discount from groupon. Military can also get tickets at Luke AFB for a discount. We also used quarters to get food to feed the Giraffe, but they can break a dollar there.
It was really far from Tucson. It was poorly maintained with restrooms uncleaned and all toilets clogged. Cafe had no soda, very dusty, all rides down, took 5 long hours to get through. Was not woth the drive or $. Phoenix zoo is by far way better.
Not much for handicap people or two year old way too expensive for what's offered
The amount of animals and exhibits here are impressive. The paths are mostly shaded, so it wasn't too bad in the heat. We had fun and enjoyed the log ride and aquarium. I'd recommend the Dillions BBQ at the end of the of the day!
Wonderful aquariums and animals. Loved the petting zoo, had my grandkids with me and they really enjoyed the time. I think your alittle over priced. I wonder how many families would like to visit the zoo but can't afford it? I think that's sad.
We had a very good time as a family. But the guy I think his name is John that works at the train station is very RUDE and made the end of my trip disappointing for my 5 year old daughter who wanted to ride that so bad. He need to work somewhere else not around people. I talk to other employees and they gave the opinion that he always talks to people like that.
A great and nice zoo. Will go again but I will stay the heck away from John.
It's a great place to go and spend time with family and friends. You will see lots of beautiful birds and animals.
You are up close and personal with the wild life. Plan for a full day there!
Animals look happy given there circumstances. Staff does very well at maintaining exhibits. Very knowledgeable about animals. Aquarium is amazing.
Very expensive but some well done exhibits. See the Watusi cattle. Animals were very active during a fall afternoon. Feed the giraffes. Extremely dusty since the paths and roads are dirt. Little ones are especially exposed to the dust. All the rides are costly for additional charges.
Exotic animals from all over the world. Wonderful day with my son and grandchildren
Great for the kids, grab a roll of quarters sp you can feed the animals
The only thing they need is more drinking fountain so you can refill your water bottles.
