My grandson has greatly enjoyed it, we have been there three or four times. Also recommend eating at Dillons afterwards and sit by the shark tank. Personally I like it better than the Phoenix zoo and I hate to say that

This place is over priced, it cost us $100.00 for two adults and two children. The so called aquarium is very small, the only animals my kids could enjoy were the giraffes. I just can't understand why they are receiving such high ratings. I drive by this place once a week, on the 303, and I never see any people within the park. I see animals walking around eating in the park, but no humans walking around and nobody on the park rides. The one good thing is that there is never a crowd of people, so you will basically have the place to your self, for what it is worth.

I thought it was really great! Beautiful day, very natural environment with animals up close and easy to see. Loved the exotic birds, monkeys with brand new baby, cheetah,...awesome!

Sad and run down. The animals looked depressed and the cages were small and a lot of trash has accumulated in and around the exhibits. It's too bad for the animals, their habitats were anything but natural. It's very pricey and you pay extra for each ride as they are not included in the admission to the park.

This is a great zoo. So many animals to see and lots of fun stuff to do. Would highly recommend spending the day here. Lots of trees for shade and the place is so big it never really feels too crowded.

TLDR; Mostly happy animals, super-cool "abandoned" vibe, one of the tastiest burgers I've ever paid $6 for.

I'd also like yo take this opportunity to offer my pro bono services of "wild animal snuggler." I'll sign whatever waivers, I just want to give everyone pets and scritchas.

Great zoo!! Yesterday was my first time there and I personally like it alot better than the Phoenix Zoo because you get to see the animals a lot closer but my only issue is its not cheap to get in. It's $35 plus tax so make sure you bring money with you because the rides aren't cheap either

Lots of interesting animals, birds, reptiles and fish. Food and restrooms throughout. But they say masks required at all times but you'll only see them at the entrance and it got very crowded. Took off stars for that. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

I just love it. All the animals are close so it's easy for small children to see them. I would definitely recomend a visit. Only down fall is they are a bit pricey. Groupon sometimes has deals.

Fun place for kids and adults. NOT CHEAP. It's a private owned zoo so the city zoo would be cheaper and better for animals. Aquarium is cool. A few rides. The Dillon's BBQ restaurant is the best of the Dillon's in the area. Prices are a bit above average. I'm a certified BBQ judge so will say food is just above average. It's a full day. Bring sunscreen, a hat and lots of water.

Several issues here! First, the price of admission is truly rediculous. Second, instead of investing so much money on rides, they should instead do some long overdue upgrades to the animal habitats. We saw cage after cage of miserable animals who are not given any enrichment whatsoever. The monkeys were so bored except for the one playing with a lens from someone's discarded sunglasses. The park is dirty and the smell coming from the exotic bird cages was almost unbearable.

I'm really on the fence about zoo's, but this is a much different experience. Animals have lots of room to run, play and just be themselves. You can get surprisingly close to the big animals yet still be in complete safety. Enclosures are large, clean and we'll maintained. I'll definitely be going back as soon as it cools off a bit.

Too much of the same caged animals in a very large, dusty area of north west Phoenix location. You pay way too much for the rides and it's a cash only park, you can get cash from an ATM except that you are paying extra to use their machines. So over priced for the trip.
I did enjoy the barbeque place next door very much. Great food!

This is such an awesome place to go for some good ol' family fun! You walk in to a clean and friendly enviorment that remains that way through out your visit. They offer, depending on the day, certain animal shows (like sea lions) that are free for your family's enjoyment. The bird feeding brought lots of smiles to our faces! This is a place that you have to plan to stay the entire day if you want to see everything that they have. With train rides, baby animals, and different themed aquariums that won't be hard to do!

Adding new exhibits and attractions frequently, and takes longer to see than the Phoenix zoo. Almost all dirt paths so beware if your wearing any kind of sandals cause your feet will be nasty. All in all a cool place outside of the city so traffic is not much of an issue, only real drawback is the prices for food and drink inside but that is the case with all zoos and amusement parks.

This is a wide open space of serenity and cool animals to see. My favorites are the lions, leopards, black panther, and the penguins. It's set up where you can eat your lunch, buy a gift, or feed the giraffes. Plan on spending about 4 hours, so you have time to see a show. The cost is around $40, but they have all types of ways to get a $5 discount, which is way worth it.
Plus you get entertained by F-15 Jets taking off from Luke Air Force Base.

They need to focus more on the animals then trying to get money from the rides and they need to make sure that the people don't touch the animals without permission. Also there are a lot of the same animals just in different parts of the zoo

Have passes. Newly expanded and plans on expanding more.ake sure to have cash as each food location is cash only. ATM on premises but charge a fee. Aslo, all rides cost in addition to the process of admission so once again, ensure cash on hand if planning to ride.
