I've enjoyed magic the gathering and D&D for over 10 years now with minimal issues. The leaders of this company are running it into the ground. Most recent magic sets have had an extreme decline in production quality. Lots of issues with keeping up with their terrible "secret lair" cash grab products. Since 2017, standard has been absolutely broken. I could go on and on, but I'd rather just speak with my wallet and not support these greedy people anymore.

This has tons of nice people making quality games and content. I have some previous colleagues that have worked here in the past and presently that love it. I like the food trucks for lunch and the cafe for drinks and snacks.

Visited Wizards of the Coast twice while on vacation from Florida to Seattle. The first visit was great, Andrew was super friendly and took us up to take pictures with the dragon.
When we got back to the hotel we found a lot of my pictures from the day had disappeared as the software on my phone was acting up, including the ones with the dragon.
After persuading my husband to go back up to Wizards of the Coast for the pictures (we aren't sure when we would be back this way) we were greeted by Andrew and Angela. They were super understanding and Angela took us up this time. Not only was she super kind and fun to talk to, she surprised us by introducing us to the head of D&D Nathan Stewart. He was also amazing to talk to. Everyone at this company went above and beyond for two fans who love the company and play the games they make. Thanks a million from two wizards from the other coast!

A once great company on a continuous spiral into the abyss. Since Hasbro took over this company has no heart or soul. I was there from the beginning. Magic is rarely consistantly fun anymore, poorly managed, and not affordable for the masses. It is an investors game now, but the value will plummet as the core supporters continue to leave. New players rarely stay long anymore. It is sad as this game implodes. And sadly it deserves what it gets. It creates more anger than any game I have ever seen in recent years. Hopefully an honest, good, gaming company will take its place. The dragon can find another worthy home.

Greedy, poor service, out of touch with customer demand, terrible deceptive advertising and business practices with a support staff to match. They literally scam their customers by advertising upcoming expansions, collecting payments from customers completing their existing collections, only to cancel the content with no warning, apology, or refunds. Or they make public statements about how you can "spend with confidence" in their digital platform only to have the project scrapped while they keep all the money from customers who expected it to last longer than 1.5 or 2 years.

zealous company that is gonna to fail its self with its crusade of progressiveness. they're silencing people. stealing money from its clients and banning people for things they do on their own free time that has nothing to do with the games they sell. they're trying to be the judge and jury of morality.

for a company that makes card games and board games. they're being quite hypocritical. in fact they own and produce the game dungeons and dragons that's core aspect of the game IS moral alignments of the players and fully explores evil and wicked behavior.

and they're gonna tell their clients what they can and cannot write down on their own personal social media accounts, but no problems it self writing about an evil war lord that had kid napped children with metal collars attached by chains to him that he uses as a personal shield against the hero's, in the book THEY wrote called "the book of vile darkness" that has rules/equipment/spells/inspirations for evil player characters and pictures of nudity in it.... they had to put an 18+ sticker on the book...

Just lost easily $300+ in value off my EDH deck because you fools have to constantly reprint everything. MM2017 ruined modern and EDH. I am done, been playing for over 10 years and now if my pieces of cardboard are just going to depreciate I might as well sell them all now instead of waiting for them to be as worthless as the new cards you lot print. Thanks so much for wasting so much of my time and money and ruining magic which was my favorite tabletop game. I'm sure this won't even be read or taken into consideration as its clear in recent years you could care less about the magic community; you just need to make profits and pump out junk sets and nerf sets for newer players who were too poor to play in the big leagues. Well now your losing your core base. Your company is now like what Blizzard was. You had a great game and you decided to nerf it for the idiots and casual players with no care for professionals or your hardcore fan base. Hope you lose millions of players just the same!

I purchased one of the recent premium products (2x Core 2021 Collector's Booster Boxes) and was super excited - it was the most I have spent on MTG products at one time in the several years playing the game. When I received them, i began opening them only to find that every single pack came with a stripe down the center of the first card in the pack and several textural problems (scratches/roughness on the cards/etc). When I brought this to WOTC via their Customer Support Line, I was sent an email to begin working with them to resolve. In the beginning, they seemed like they wanted to help. The first CS Rep I worked with via a chain of email said I just needed to send him a list of the affected cards and they would help me but then I started to get passed from one CS Rep to another every few days who went back on what I was originally told. After weeks of getting nowhere and being ignored for several days on end, I called them out for having terrible customer service and then was passed to another CS Rep who apologized and said he would send me out a few packs for the inconvenience (I guess something is better than nothing I am thinking) but nothing was ever shipped to me. I have since been trying to get an answer as to whether they are going to help me at all and am simply being ignored...no responses at all. UNBELIEVABLE - You got your money so how about backing your product and taking care of the people who are the reason you are in business to begin with.

My husband loves MTG and has been playing for 20+ ...

My husband loves MTG and has been playing for 20+ years. I'm not exaggerating when I say we have boxes and binders of MTG cards in every room. We have chests full. We have multiple cabinets full. We have them in bookcases, under the bed and in every closet. We actually don't have enough space for all of them so there are boxes & binders over flowing onto the floor. The point is, he LOVES MTG. Till now.

Recently, we "invested" in the Core 2021 Collector Booster Boxes as a gift for him and purchased from a very reputable and well known dealer. He was so excited to get them he was like a child on Christmas morning. Then he opened the packs. You can only imagine how disappointed, sad and distraught he was to discover that every single pack was damaged. This is a premium product at a premium price and straight out the pack they couldn't even be graded as mint or pack fresh.

He contacted WOTC with his concerns and at first it sounded like they were taking it seriously and wanted to help. Then he got passed from one person to the next over the course of a few weeks. At first they said all he needed to do was send a list of the effected cards and a few sample pics to show the damage. As time went on they went back on their word and have done NOTHING.

Ultimately, he's contacted them many times about this issue (simply asking for some decent customer service) and at this point they're just ignoring him. I'd understand if he was a habitual complainer or problem. However, this is not the case. In over 2 decades of supporting this company, spending tens of thousands of dollars, he has never once contacted WOTC asking for anything. He's had the random misprint or damage in the past. The condition of this product was truly exceptional in the extent of damage.

This is ridiculous and I'm personally upset because this was his birthday present from the family. It should've been something he could enjoy for many years. We understand sometimes things happen beyond one's control but the case here is WOTC could easily make this right and simply chooses not to.

After all that... I'm not sure we will be buying new cards in the future.

Please do not order product online from Wizards/Scalefast!!!

Unfortunately, one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Ordered product in February with multiple guarantees that product would be delivered by June. Had to reach out to their customer service multiple times just to get updates, to finally receive the product in July. When I first received my order, it was only 1 out of 6 boxes I ordered. Then, I had to reach out to get the rest delivered to me. With no offer of apology or product for terrible service, please stick to your local game store for your buying needs.

Have loved Magic for 26 years, but am sad to see customer service and some business decisions elude their better judgment.

My wife and I visited the corporate office of Wizards of the Coast. We heard tell of a dragon in the lobby and pictures were allowed. Because my wife and I are both fans and we were vacationing in Seattle, we decided to see if we could get a picture. We met with Andrew in the reception area of the building He was super friendly and very open about what we could and could not do in the building. He said that we could take pictures with the dragon but it was up on the 4th floor. We had to sign in and get visitor passes but he would happily escort us. He gave us some general information about the location and what takes place there. He was very friendly and welcoming to us. My wife and I were very impressed. He said he loved working there as everyone is friendly and made it an easy place to work at. We had a great 20 minute visit to say hello to a company we enjoy the products of. Thank you for being a friendly company.

So much for caring about those that distribute you...

So much for caring about those that distribute your product. Your constant roller-coaster ride that is Magic has been almost devastated, you continue to involve yourself with politics (just be a business and sell products), and now not only do you destroy the communities everywhere who carry your product for MTG but you are destroying DDAL, I am having to convince players to stay and play other systems just to retain a community. Truly a great job guys (Claps), let me know when my voice actually matters and that of other store owners.
