I have used this firm for about 20 years and have always found the experience to be great.

We have had a great experience here. Not only did they do a great job cleaning up the mess left by our last bookkeepers, but it was affordable and understandable. They provided us with a clear picture of our business financial position, as well as gave us some areas where we could improve upon. In our experience, finding an accountant that actually cares about the state of our business is almost impossible. At least until we came here! Thank you Gay and team! Paid this company and they never even processed my taxes, all they say is "oh it mus t have fallen off our plate.." Not very professional.. A few years before they did the same thing to my father. Last time i ever use their sevices.

Quite familiar with this agency. After they did my Mom's books for 10ish years, I took a look and found all kinds of CRA errors. When I asked for explanations, I got none. Apparently there was an outstanding amount due to Wise (from my Mom), so after I contacted them, they sent me three different notices with three separate amounts with no details. When I asked for an itemized statement with a consistent amount, they sent the debt to collections. Very professional.

Not a good experience. No certified accountants and seemingly a high staff turnover with lots of difficulty. I finally left them for a REAL accounting firm.

If there was a lesser star than one I would have chosen that. Our experience with this firm was an unmitigated disaster. Hundreds of dollars in CRA fines because of their incompetence. They are not certified accountants and there is no complaint mechanism to hold them accountable or liable for their ineptitude. Ms. Wise (in name only) failed to file income tax returns one year and had to file them with the next years returns. Late filing fees followed. Our new "real" Accountant knew who I was talking about before I told him who was doing our books. He claims to have done clean up for several of Wise Financials former clients. Find a hobo to do your books and taxes - he couldn't do any worse and he would have a legitimate claim of ignorance. By the way... our real Accountant costs less and no late filing penalties.

Again if there was a way to put zero stars I would have. Doesn't know how to return client inquires promptly, claims to do work that clearly wasn't done. Blames staff regularly for tardiness. Doesn't provide sound advice and direction.
