This is the 5th time. Kilgore on Providence. I was tol that they were great. Well , I'm not impressed! They are short on communication skills. If a medicine has to be ordered it should be common courtesy to let the person know. If there source of payment doesn't it should be common courtesy. A person should also know if the Rx has to order meds how long it should take! There is a reason why a doctor prescribes meds and a patient shouldn't have to wait a week to be informed. Their seems as if she have a LD or is ADD. When you say you are going to deliver an Rx or that ir out for delivery, that shouldn't mean the next day! Whoever gave them 4.5 stars must have picked their meds up or was paid to write it!

Full service pharmacy...and this pharmacy is dedicated to their customers! While briefly waiting inside, I was asked several times if I needed assistance. My entry did not go unnoticed which felt very welcoming. Check them out to experience this high level of service yourself. Did I mention there is a drive thru?

I went to Walgreens on providence because they are my normal pharmacy I fill my scripts from but when arriving they were rude and impatient with me because I didn t have my sons insurance number. I went to kilgore s showed them my script told them what happened at Walgreens and in the mist of me finishing my terrible experience at Walgreens they had my son insurance pulled up and already had begun the process to fill his script they were kind and so understanding 20 minutes before closing not to mention. They also confirmed all the details about the script and dose! to be sure I were in full understanding AMAZING ! I am definitely switching pharmacies and will continue my service here! Thanks to the kilgore s staff I am able to give my son his dose on time and didn t have to stress about the issue! HIGHLY RECOMMEND KILGORE S!!!!!!

Have trouble getting my medication on time a lot. Have had to stretch my insulins to last almost a week. They are supposed to automatically send things out once a month but I usually have to call and ask for it. Charged my credit card full price for a drug I later found out was covered by my insurance. Would change pharmacies but as far as I know they are the only one that works with mo kidney program.

Went here because walgreens couldn't figure out how to make my insurance work. Guy figured it out in 10 minutes. Friendly, fast, convenient, knowledgeable staff.

They're the only one in town that will mix my cat's medicine.

After I changed my insurance in September, I filled a prescription in October, submitted my new card to a manager and told her that it was the same company but a different group plan. She assured me that it was changed in the system, but the cost of my prescription did not change to my new copay. When I questioned this, they said that was the correct amount and told me they had run it through the insurance again to verify the price. In November when I filled the same prescription, they told me that the insurance would not pay, because I had not paid my premium. Now suspecting that they never had changed my insurance in October, I told them that my insurance was a company plan and payroll deducted and asked them to verify the plan. Sure enough, they had never entered the new insurance information because they just looked at the card and saw it was the same company, not bothering to check the group number. One of the owners apologized for the mistake, but it just isn't enough when the manager had lied to me. Don't use this place! I tried to use the local pharmacy and avoid the mega-chain stores, but I will never use this place again and find another local pharmacy to conduct business with in the future.

Tried and true local family run pharmacy. Service is exceptional.

Checked on getting a knee scooter for my wife, they rent them but wont bill insurance. Rental price is half the cost of a new one from Amazon. That is a bit of a scam. There is making a reasonable profit and then there is fleecing your customers in need.

So very helpful, can get almost anything for my medical needs, and have a free delivery service and drive thru.

Just picked up 2 prescriptions for my son totalling $108. I asked them to check the prices since it seemed quite high. After I got home I checked on Good Rx and could have got them for $14 at Sams or $25 at Walgreens. Every other pharmacy in the area was less than $50 compared to their $108. Lesson learned - will not be going back!

Needed a pair of crutches to rent and they worked out great and didn't cost me much.

Frequently when I order my medication by phone I do not receive them by mail as requested. This had left me without getting my medications on time. I usually have to call them a second time to request them. The manager says its a computer glitch. Changing pharmacies.

Visited Kilgore's to find large silicone toe separators for a family member because they are the only place in town that carries non foam type. I also got actual Ace brand bandages because they work better then the knockoff brands.

Pandemic policy was in practice with curbside ordering and delivery. The staff wore protective gear and were polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Handicapped parking was available and there was plenty of normal as well.

This is your family pharmacy, small town service. Quick cheap delivery, friendly staff, drive thru, why go anywhere else?

The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. They work quickly to fill prescriptions. The Drive Thru is very convenient with two windows. If there is a line and you are waiting on a prescription the employees will politely ask you to go to the end of the line so they can assist other customers while your prescription is being filled. They are very kind and courteous.

I've been using this pharmacy regularly for almost a year, filling about 4-5 prescriptions on a monthly basis for my son. A mistake was made with one of his prescriptions a couple of months ago, but since that time, there have been no mistakes and they have went above and beyond to meet my family's needs. I am impressed with their dedication to providing quality service.

They make prices and lies up at the window. Then when they get caught they say everyone is new. D&H here we come!

I love this pharmacy! I go to the Chapel Hill location. They are helpful, cheerful, accurate and fast. They have taken the hassle out of going to the pharmacy for me.

My father has to take a lot of meds every day and I am in charge of making sure he gets what he needs when he needs it. It was pretty intimidating at first but Kilgore's helped me figure out the best way to do it. They also went through his med list and found several places where he could be saving money with generics. He is on a fixed income so that made a big difference. He needs refills every week so I just call Kilgore's and tell them what I need. They will even call his Doctor and get refills if necessary and they deliver them right to the house...for FREE! They are always helpful and obviously really care about my dad. I love Kilgore's.

Great with the elderly clients . . . They helped me manage my mother's medications while she was living and I find them just as helpful today when I have questions or concerns. All at Chapel Hill are friendly and helpful.

I have never gone, but my daughter started working there and she said it was an superior pharmacy. They have in-house nurse for diabetic sock fittings .3 pharmacists on staff,and they do compounding ! That's like a superstore pharmacy. That's where I would shop!

They take care of customers quickly and maintain a friendly atmosphere!

Hands down, the best pharmacy Healthcare in Columbia perhaps the best one I've ever been to. They carry specialty Healthcare items at very reasonable prices. Trust me I've had to buy a good amount of specialty items for my senior family members and the prices here are way better than anything I've ever experienced.

And the staff is exemplary. They go beyond being helpful with their depth of knowledge and friendly manners everyone I've dealt with there is fabulous.

Great people. Have used this pharmacy since I moved to Columbia 5 years ago. I am on several medications per month. Everytime I come in they treat me with respect and dignity. Best pharmacy I have been to.

I greatly appreciate the friendly, prompt and convenient service. They always take the time to answer questions completely. With drive thru and delivery, they are convenient for many people. I won't go anywhere else. Kilgores has my business. I highly recommend you give them a try.

For a pharmacy that does as much work as this pharmacy does, their employees are always great and the waiting time is reasonable.

Don't go here. Very rude and unlearned people! I gave them a specialty compound a "Cofactor of two nucleotides" to make for me and they told me "go and purchase it at Clovers Health Food Store". Like they would ever have it. Its a 5 hour infusion. Then I asked to speak to a compounding pharmacist and he told me the same thing "to go get it at Clovers". They treat their potential very learned customers like total Idiots!! Don't waste your time, because they are useless people!! This was on 7/30/19 The person's response below has nothing to do with how I was treated. There is no explanation you could give me that would make up for your peoples horrible treatment of me. You should have just apologized for your store, but that is too much to ask for too. Shame on you! You don't tell people to go purchase a product like this at a health food store that would never carry it. Talking to you won't explain your poor customer service. This is a product that would make you tons of money, but your team is too unlearned to know this!

I have used Kilgores for quite a while however when we moved to South Columbia they could no longer deliver so we switched pharmacies. I had called back searching for an item when the manager I was speaking with offered me a deal. If I had all my prescriptions sent to Kilgores they could mail them to me and bill my debit card each month on the 3rd. I agreed and had all my prescriptions transferred to Kilgores. Since then it's been a disaster. I'll call to order my medications, everything will seem fine. They verify the address and I remind them days after I called my medication sin, I called Kilgores .to debit the card on the third. After over a week of waiting they still aren't in our mail. These are prescriptions that are essential to my health. I then find out that instead of debiting my account on the 3rd they did it early. Therefore my prescriptions were never sent.
...I spoke to a manager after this post. She set my account back up per my original agreement. Thank you.

Prompt and friendly service and works with discounted prescriptions from the Family Health Center. They also have a delivery service for those the convenience of its customers.
