Best skiing I have had in 28 years. We went during spring break and there were no lines longer than 3-5 minutes....if even. Many lifts had nobody at all, lots of solo riders on chairs. The runs we did were great, it had snowed the day prior to our arrival and the packed powder was awesome. 2 days later we got another dusting of snow. The village of Winterpark resort is wonderful! It was clean and had Starbucks, a few ski shops and of course good dining all around.

Great family oriented ski mountain with a variety of runs suitable to all levels of skiers and boarders. With two sections of the mountain, Mary Jane and Winter Park, there truly is enough terrain to satisfy the wants, needs and desires for everyone in one's family from grandparents to children two-years-old.

Great atmosphere at the base of Winter Park Resort with store fronts, restaurants and bars. One hindrance is that everything is a little spaced out so walking to and from parking to gondola, bar to car, etc. is a little exhausting whilst in ski gear. Nevertheless, this mountain is all anyone could ask when looking for a family friendly place to ski!

An absolutely breathtaking place that looks like something from a post card, unfortunately the layout and map is very confusing, rental of anything takes way too long, and ski lift prices are atrocious

It's hard to pinpoint what I like best about Winter Park & Mary Jane as a ski area. The variance in terrain is striking, from ungroomed steeps on Eagle Wind, to beginner-friendly flats on Edleweisse, to the gorgeous view at 12,000 feet atop Parsen Bowl. The Fraser Valley stretches out beneath us, as we rip and carve our routes down the bowl and then dip into tree-lined glades and forest trails of intermediate difficulty but unforgettable natural beauty. We often have lunch at the bottom of Mary Jane's lifts and eat on the deck or inside if it's snowing. Telling stories of how the morning runs have gone, we relax and take in the scenery and relaxed vibe around us.

Nice resort, even in the summer. One bedroom condo was great, including full kitchen with dishwasher. The shops and restaurants had just about everything you'd need on site. The slopes area is beautiful, and the Alpine Slide is a blast! Hot tubs were a nice place to unwind at the end of the day. There was some construction going on but it's for an upcoming expansion to the condo amenities so I can't really complain. Definitely recommend visiting.

Nice mountain plenty of terrain for all abilities....

Nice mountain plenty of terrain for all abilities. A lot for intermediate and advanced. The lifts are not as good of condition as Breckenridge, Keystone or Vail. Not as crowded when we went there, so that was a plus.

Lots of long runs full of big moguls make it fun, if that is what you like. The layout of the mountain is not the best. So it does make for a confusing day if it is not your first.

The terrain park has good features and jumps, but they do not upkeep them up during the day. During the time we were here they groomed once at closing and that was it, nothing done midday. We have noticed other resorts groom and salt midday, which really helps with having fun and safety.

Plenty of features and jumps for all abilities.

Lift operators were very good. We ate at Provisional 2 times and both times were great I would recommend it for lunch or early dinner.

My fiancee and I wanted to tour Winter Park Resort for our possible wedding venue, but little did we know this was going to be a horrible experience from the beginning. I spoke with a sales manager named Ellen over the phone to set up an appointment to tour the venue. She was not very accommodating to the times we were able to visit and being that we were from out of town we ended up booking a hotel to specifically view their venue. After driving up to winter park in the snow, Ellen proceeds to cancel our appointment without explanation and tells us "You should go tour the venue yourself as I have arranged my schedule to go to winter park tomorrow instead". I have never been so displeased with a venue before in my life. We not only wasted our time but our money a well on a hotel that was not necessary. If it were up to me, Ellen would be fired because she is definitely not doing her company any favors by pushing customers away. Don't work with Ellen, she is horrible and doesn't care at all about you or your wedding.

My favorite mountain by far. 2 mountains for the price of 1, Mary Jane has some really good challenging runs, and Winter Park has some great beginner and "chill" runs. Plus during the weekends it doesn't get as packed as the major resorts directly off i-70

We like to do mud season at resorts in Colorado. Always a reasonably cheep Vaca with beautiful views. This time we had 2 nights at the zephyr... What a joke. It was bad enough that we forfeited the second night as it was non-refundable. Not going back to Winter Park. Steamboat was awesome the next 2 days, hindsight totally worth forfeiting The Zephyr.

A hill for every skill, plenty of lifts and plenty of snow (this year, at least). I spent the days on Mary Jane (the mountain, not the herb ) and Panoramic. I really liked the multiple options to cut into the trees, even as an intermediate skier. That added to the excitement of the day. Had lunch at the Club Car and at Lunch Rock. Go for the salad bar or soups. Stayed at the Vintage, which I would recommend.

We were visiting Colorado (Winter Park) on our anniversary. We ve never been to this area and found it to be beautiful! The staff at the resort was amazing!! I had mentioned that it was our anniversary and they upgraded us to a suite. The room was really nice with mountain and forest views. It was really clean as well. I also appreciated how seriously they took COVID. Would definitely visit again!

Family friendly and lots of different terrain. Wish they would open up the Cirque more and put a lift back there, buy still have plenty of other options in the resort. Improvements to infrastructure over last few years have been great and hopefully point to more upgrades in years to come.

The ski school at Winter Park was excellent! My lesson with Bill Rosen was so helpful, he really cared about my success and was exceedingly generous with his time and helpful hints. If I lived here I'd come back every week just to work with him!

Bought a lift ticket and the gondola was shutdown half the day. Lines are super crowded representatives refused to discount my next days lift ticket. Spent 2 days here and maybe got in 14 rides in down the mountain. This not a reasonable considering i flew from ohio to ski and wasted a whole day lots of money spent to be disappointed.

The place is great when the snow is good. The best snow can usually be found in the Eagle Wind territory. The food is somewhat expensive, but there are free microwaves. Locker rooms to change.

Great value for when we went, staff all friendly and helpful, but in retrospect was not the ideal place for this beginner to really start trying to learn. Some of the Winter Park greens are way too much for a beginner to tackle without getting hurt. The green hill at the bottom is really a blue with respect to the abilities of a beginner. Also, the middle section of Village Way is too steep for a beginner, which created a bad day because it was the least steep way down from Gondola lift. Once I was up there, I was hosed but didn t find out until halfway down. My opinion. Be more honest about your appropriateness for true beginners.

Winter park is way underrated. It has an excellent and well diversified trial system that suits every level of skiers and boarders. The lift system is the 1st class. The number and quality of long green runs can be matched by few other resorts. If human sized moguls of Mary Jones are not enough for you, go to top of the mountain to try back country styled runs on the back of the bowl.

Great skiing, especially for glades and bumps - biggest recommendation I would make is the unfriendly pricing structure. You only get any discount for booking online if it's 7 days in advance. Nothing for buying multiple days or for buying 48 hours in advance, for example. Really draws back from the experience and makes me hesitant to recommend the resort.

I can not explain the disappointment in Customer Service with this Co. So un- willing to help me out when I had an unexpected death accure the morning I was leaving to go on this trip to Winter Park. It is one thing when a person just decides not to go on a trip because they changed their minds, but to be treated with such total disreguard and make no effort to give credit back for future use is in my opinion , unexcpetable. I would NEVER recomend anyone to book at trip through this travel site.

Pretty cool boarding spot. Not quite as beautiful of Vail, but certainly has some awesome runs and great tree boarding and parks. Excellent location for beginner, intermediate and advance ski/boarders. Awesome shopping and small town area to hang in afterwards.

How can Winter Park close the only two bowls they have during one of the only powder day Colorado has had this year!? We have had a foot of new snow and the wind is 3mph. I have been here 7 times when there has been excessive snow and they never open the Cirque!! So of course now we're all here getting stuck in the front side with inexperienced skiers and snowboarders that take up the entire run. I've always said Winter is good for a family resort or for beginners but that's about it. To top it off they want 169$ for a lift ticket!! A freaking season pass is 500$+ 169$ to snowboard on ICE THIS COMING FRIDAY...NO WAY! It's a two and a half hour drive just to get there from Fort Collins, t7he last thing I'm going to do is pay for a mediocre Resort at top dollar! You want people to come to the resort and hopefully you guys would learn to give some form of incentives out?? Rather you're giving us Max prices for lower quality?

I worked at winter park for nearly 5 years during a time of major change and transition. Through it all the employees, community and guests all remained dedicated and full of energy and love for their beloved ski resort. I look forward to taking my daughter there to learn to ski and snowboard. Winter Park and the greater Grand County area will always hold a special place in my heart. If you need a ski resort vacation look no further. It will challenge you as a seasoned winter sports enthusiast and guide you along as a beginner.

Update: 7-23-19 I got to take my 7 yr old daughter here for the first time this year. We made a summer trip to Grand County. It was my first time back in 17 yrs! I was blown away with all the improvements and new things to do. We had a blast and look forward to many more adventures at Winter Park.
