Bad service, rude intake personnel, ghetto and unprofessional to say tge least, for sure!
Never had a bad experience there except for the long wait.
I entered the office at 930am on a Monday with 3 clients visible in the lobby. Went to the reception desk to check in and was told I have to wait until 10 for the service I had requested. During my 30 minute wait I checked the DSHS website and looked around the lobby to find an official posting of service times only to find a crudely scrawled 10 taped over the 9 printed on the sign. The 2.4 rating the office currently has is high in my estimation.
I have always had good experiences at this location. As long as you're in the door by 2pm, you get scene.
They've done so much to help me out, I could never say thanks enough!! They helped me get through the darkest part of my life. People who are giving bad reviews are complaining about wait times, uh it's not like you got a job to go to. You're looking for free handouts and all you have to do is sit in a waiting room for a little while... ungrateful people!!
I went there and was treated accordingly, I guess I went there on a good day that day, after that it was down hill, I guess some people work for just their pay check and nothing else. shame
Always take a pad to make notes on paper work you need to bring back and then read it back to the case manager before you leave. No one will tell you, if you need to see a case manager that they stop at 2pm. I look at the hours thinking I had until 4 pm and got there at 2:30pm and had to come back another day. I really had to gather myself to go hat and hand to ask for assistance. Being turned away made me not come back for two weeks and things were even worse. Case managers seem to be professional and there to help folks, unlike the combative, adversarial , abusive employees in Atlanta Georgia. Be polite, say please and thank you ,you'd be surprised how that can make all the difference.
They are very unhelpful, how they operate dose not make sence. They should be full service until they close at 5 pm not till 2pm. Some of us actually work!
It was the last day of the month but I only waited 40 minutes. the woman who helped me was kind and knowledgeable.
I had a seizure on the elevator 6 years ago a young security guard name Miguel watched over me until paramedics came saw him 2 weeks ago he remembered me but I didn't remember him because you don't remember anything right before during and after one for awhile when he told me what happened I knew it because he told me what happened he is awesome
Horrible...showed up, was polite...treated with condescension and rudeness...refused to listen and completely ignored my problem which led to humiliation...awful!!! Only saving grace is the administrator.
Lazy people who are just trying to get by on a paycheck
Adequate experience. The person I worked with in the end was amazing and very friendly, but even he thought the first person I worked with was "cold." Expect a long wait always, and bring as much documentation as you can, especially if you need proof of income. Don't just bring last month's pay stub. Bring several months of pay stubs or invoices; they can't make decisions based on one month of pay.
Can never get everything done in the 3 hours you got to st around there. Always gotta go back for more bulshit.
Straightforward, it will take some waiting time but they want to help you.
Came here and waited for over an hour for service abd I was the only client here! What a waste of time and inept incompetent staff here. They don't care for anyone or anything other than there time. Trashy staff!
They are the most incompetent group of people that I have ever come across. They take forever to do anything. If you go there, expect to wait at least an hour and a half. Even for the simplest, smallest, and most routine things. Most of them are very rude and unhelpful as well. Unfortunately I have nothing nice to say about them or the office as a whole. Now I understand that they are really understaffed, but it doesn't excuse the way that office runs.
Message to the DSHS: Please help this office with more funding or try to figure out how to get that office running more efficiently. Thank you
They are really rude and just overall seem like they just hate their jobs and couldn't care less, I'm an epileptic and I had a seizure while I was there in the bathroom and I couldn't get one person to talk to me about how to reschedule they just blew me off. Thank goodness the security guard actually helped or they probably would have just blamed me for having to leave.
