Hi Country Haus
Check In: 07/16/2016
Check Out: 07/18/2016
Adults: 2

There were multiple problems with this lodging: The place had not been cleaned.
There was blood on the covers (Disgusting!)
The TV didnt work (took 2 days for them to come and fix it)
Didnt get a key card to enjoy any amenities
There was dog hair everywhere ( I have bad allergies) and that made for a miserable trip!

I video taped everthing so they were able to see all of this, sheets, pillows filled with dog hair and lights, stove not working and until this day the manager has not called back!

Very expensive, but very fun. My wife and I stayed in Granby for our first anniversary, and drove out here twice to do the skii biking, which was a blast. I certainly hope to come again.
Also, the staff is great.

Everything in one place. Absolutely beautiful. Ski instructor was fantastic. She (Leah) worked with the individual weaknesses of each participant in our group. We were all skiing with confidence by the end of the lessons. Will be back. Go it's worth the memories. My kids loved it.

Decent if you're a beginner. Otherwise I was pretty disappointed. Ive never in my life said I was dissatisfied with the work of ski patrol at a mountain but at winter park I was. No effort was made to open the cirque territory and multiple locals told me it was ready but that the mountain just wanted to let the Christmas tourists leave to open it? Excuse me? The tourist are the ones paying $130 a day to ski. I have experience with snow safety and based on the snow depth, temperature, and calm winds there was no reason for the cirque to not open. That was my last trip to winter park!

Good intermediate and advanced terrain, great bumps, on site free parking at Mary Jane, free shuttles between town & resort, super-friendly staff, less traffic from Denver than Summit County resorts

I love winter park! Military discounts available.. very affordable and fun day! Lengthy trails and the gondola is pretty cool. Rented equipment in Denver first before arriving so can't speak to their rental process.

I have fond memories of Winter Park from the first time I went skiing (and hit a tree) and it didn't disappoint when I returned 18 years later for my second time skiing. I will say the staff was a touch brusque towards customers just trying to get the most out of their skiing time. I would have liked a little more friendliness, especially when the customers were being pleasant and merely inquisitive, rather than demanding.

Beautiful area. Great eating places in the town of Fraser. The Resort itself had some eating options, the food was ok, but on the expensive side. One recommendation is ask for a room facing the mountain or the courtyard. Our room faced another building so we had no patio, and the other building blocked any opportunity for any breeze to come in making the room rather warm.

Great place to visit in the summer - lots to explore and do with hiking, road and mountain biking, and shopping in town. The town puts on free concerts every week. Recommend dining at Dinos - great food and reasonable prices.

Overall the mountain was very nice, with some solid glade skiiing and a great variable terrian to challenge all types of skiers. While the mountain does have many trails compared to the east, I believe this is one of the smaller parks in the area and with that expect fewer runs. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of mogals on the mountain as well -- I think the park needs to be more mindful of the minefields those snow drifts become for snowboarders.

Lifts were generally quick and we had little to no trouble escaping the lifts (i.e. no mountains to fall down after you exit the lift). The check in process was also rapid using RFID chips inserted into your jacket.

All in all a great experience

Jeff Cross was my half day ski instructor and he did an absolutely phenomenal job teaching and coaching our small group. The resort was clean and well maintained; rental process was a breeze and the shops were super cute! Food was good too but unfortunate that indoor dining was not permitted within - that s the only thing that could have been better.

Mountains are not bad, but I can't stand facilities such as public Restrooms...there are only few small restrooms and they are always busy and dirty, most of the times there's no soap even. If you compare it to any other ski resort in Colorado there's no difference in prices, so they could at least work on important things...

Love this place. Winter or Summer I love it! Personally if you are going to be up here for both season get both season passes it will run you about 600 for both. Tons of runs in the winter and access to the gondola in the summer as well and a bunch of other perks and discount on things around the resort. Don't come here expecting a bargain you won't find one, this is a luxury town. But if you have the scratch it is worth it!

Every person I spoke to here was really friendly and welcoming. They all seemed to love being there. However, I was double charged for my ticket and could not reach anyone in the park about it. I was transferred to a voicemail and never received a call back. Finally had to go through my bank. My friend paid for a ticket in cash after being told his card was not going through. Get home to find he was charged on his card AND he paid cash. I think they were honest mistakes, but still should be addressed. Everything else was amazing!!!
