For big mountain skiing you can't beat it, plenty of terrain for anyone but the bumps and glades for advanced skiers are really what this park dose best 5/5 will go back.

Good variety of terrain. Lots of moguls if that's what you like. Plenty of skiable trees. Some areas get pretty crowded.
Amazing mountain. Not terribly crowded and tons of terrain. Good deal on friends passes if you know a season ticket holder. Awesome ski school and plenty of places to eat.

There were multiple problems with this lodging: The place had not been cleaned.
There was blood on the covers (Disgusting!)
The TV didnt work (took 2 days for them to come and fix it)
Didnt get a key card to enjoy any amenities
There was dog hair everywhere ( I have bad allergies) and that made for a miserable trip!
I video taped everthing so they were able to see all of this, sheets, pillows filled with dog hair and lights, stove not working and until this day the manager has not called back!
Beautiful yet expensive area. Only went in summer so I can only see a little of what this town has to offer.
Super awesome bike park! Great turns and jumps. Even the gnar had the right amount of fun to make you smile through the pucker moments.
Very expensive, but very fun. My wife and I stayed in Granby for our first anniversary, and drove out here twice to do the skii biking, which was a blast. I certainly hope to come again.
Also, the staff is great.
Everything in one place. Absolutely beautiful. Ski instructor was fantastic. She (Leah) worked with the individual weaknesses of each participant in our group. We were all skiing with confidence by the end of the lessons. Will be back. Go it's worth the memories. My kids loved it.
Amazing views, great runs, easy access to the entire resort. Good to diverge away from i70 and bypass the typical traffic too.
I'm used to skiing/boarding in Ohio on tiny mountains. Winter Park was amazing. They have trails for beginners to experts and everything in between. 10/10 would go here again.
Decent if you're a beginner. Otherwise I was pretty disappointed. Ive never in my life said I was dissatisfied with the work of ski patrol at a mountain but at winter park I was. No effort was made to open the cirque territory and multiple locals told me it was ready but that the mountain just wanted to let the Christmas tourists leave to open it? Excuse me? The tourist are the ones paying $130 a day to ski. I have experience with snow safety and based on the snow depth, temperature, and calm winds there was no reason for the cirque to not open. That was my last trip to winter park!
Doing well this year all things considered, good staff and efficient rentals with covid procedures
Best ski resort! Most variations of difficulty on runs and really good restaurants!
Good intermediate and advanced terrain, great bumps, on site free parking at Mary Jane, free shuttles between town & resort, super-friendly staff, less traffic from Denver than Summit County resorts
The resort was great. The restaurant was not (Lime). Terrible service but was charged 20% gratuity against our wishes.
Great that classes aren't mandatory for first timers to be on the slopes. Can learn with a friend
I love winter park! Military discounts available.. very affordable and fun day! Lengthy trails and the gondola is pretty cool. Rented equipment in Denver first before arriving so can't speak to their rental process.
Great place. Family friends have a condo their I stayed at. Had a great view and good food
Beautiful terrains. Friendly and helpful staff. Low/no crowds for the past 2 weekends! I love this resort!
TELL PEOPLE 1 OF THE 2 SLIDES ARE CLOSED!!! AFTER SPEAKING WITH A MANAGER WE FOUND OUT YOU KNEW THIS UPON OPENING. WE TRIED TO REACH AN ACTUAL PERSON BY PHONE WHEN AT THE TOP TO GET US DOWN. FINALLY REACH A GUY WHO ISN'T EVEN ON SITE. YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO CHARGE MY AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN CRIMINAL CHARGES. SEE EMAILS, MESSAGES SENT TO YOUR INBOX.
Wow. Great family experience for the first day in Colorado
I have fond memories of Winter Park from the first time I went skiing (and hit a tree) and it didn't disappoint when I returned 18 years later for my second time skiing. I will say the staff was a touch brusque towards customers just trying to get the most out of their skiing time. I would have liked a little more friendliness, especially when the customers were being pleasant and merely inquisitive, rather than demanding.
Terrible parking and no shuttles on a holiday weekend ruined in otherwise decent ski day
Great skiing all around. Lots of black diamond runs with best snow in February
Downhill biking through the trees and over ramps in the summer and shredding on skis and boards in the winter. This place is killer!
Meh. It's the budget mountain of the area but costs only a few dollars less. Is riding slow lifts worth saving $3?
Your never going to have a bad time at Winter Park. There is something there for all types of riders. They also have a Burton shop in the village for all the Burton lovers out their like myself.
Beautiful area. Great eating places in the town of Fraser. The Resort itself had some eating options, the food was ok, but on the expensive side. One recommendation is ask for a room facing the mountain or the courtyard. Our room faced another building so we had no patio, and the other building blocked any opportunity for any breeze to come in making the room rather warm.
Came from the east coast and had a blast! Spent 2 weeks out here and it wasn t enough. Definitely coming back.
I love this little ski village. The mountain is huge and beautiful. The sightseeing on the ride from Denver is incredible. Everything within walking distance. Super awesome slopes. Fantastic restaurants. Great lodging & lots of options. Lovely local staff everywhere.
This was my first time on this mountain in the winter! Had an absolute great time! The snow this year is epic!
Awesome fun.
Very nice place.
Great place to visit in the summer - lots to explore and do with hiking, road and mountain biking, and shopping in town. The town puts on free concerts every week. Recommend dining at Dinos - great food and reasonable prices.
Excellent ski resort. Beautiful Winter day on Monday. Some snow quite firm, other places very nice. Snow overnight, cold (single digets) on Tuesday.
Favorite ski destination as we have s cold with disabilities and the park has great accommodations!!
Overpriced - Vail Resorts needs the money I suppose
Amazing experience, great skiing. A little bit expensive
Worst map and signage in the west. Great potential for challenging lines, if a single one was open. Bowl looked good, if any lift to the top ever runs. Lifties had terrible attitude.
Wicked terrain. Staff that look out for their customers. Sweet ski village.
Shred the gnar, my dude
Powder day...so my review I'd probably bias. We had a blast.
Great place to ski, but a lot of things are overpriced
Overall the mountain was very nice, with some solid glade skiiing and a great variable terrian to challenge all types of skiers. While the mountain does have many trails compared to the east, I believe this is one of the smaller parks in the area and with that expect fewer runs. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of mogals on the mountain as well -- I think the park needs to be more mindful of the minefields those snow drifts become for snowboarders.
Lifts were generally quick and we had little to no trouble escaping the lifts (i.e. no mountains to fall down after you exit the lift). The check in process was also rapid using RFID chips inserted into your jacket.
All in all a great experience
Jeff Cross was my half day ski instructor and he did an absolutely phenomenal job teaching and coaching our small group. The resort was clean and well maintained; rental process was a breeze and the shops were super cute! Food was good too but unfortunate that indoor dining was not permitted within - that s the only thing that could have been better.
Alpine Slide and mini golf! Activities for smaller kids too.
Beautiful, great times, lots of activities in the snow
An amazing place with some of the best downhill mountain biking in Colorado but challenging enough to progress as a rider
Unbelievable!! Take the Ski Train as well. It s easy and fun.
Have had so much fun skiing out here! Have yet to meet an unfriendly employee, everyone is great here!
Mountains are not bad, but I can't stand facilities such as public Restrooms...there are only few small restrooms and they are always busy and dirty, most of the times there's no soap even. If you compare it to any other ski resort in Colorado there's no difference in prices, so they could at least work on important things...
Mostly great experience. Ski School drop off for kids is a bit of a mess. Otherwise, no real complaints.
Awesome place to be!! Had a blast downhill mountain biking . Was an extreme experience!
Winter Park resort area itself is picturesque but the town just looked old and dirty, we were disappointed.
Love this place. Winter or Summer I love it! Personally if you are going to be up here for both season get both season passes it will run you about 600 for both. Tons of runs in the winter and access to the gondola in the summer as well and a bunch of other perks and discount on things around the resort. Don't come here expecting a bargain you won't find one, this is a luxury town. But if you have the scratch it is worth it!
Have not seen a drawback yet. Awesome place to ski every year.
Great Ski Park. Great staff, great lessons from a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back
So much fun in the summer. Will be back for winter fun!
Lots of fun with family, but it can get easily crowded.
Must have been Bill to visit this lovely place. I haven't gone to winter park in a while. Would have enjoyed it
Love this place. I try and go as often as possible.
Winter park resort was epic, hands down best weekend getaway I've had. Can't wait to go again.
Been a while since I've rode WP. Good stuff powder galore. Awesome!
This place is great but getting more and more busy. Used to be a small secret, but those days are long gone. $189 for a ski ticket.... Uhhh I'll pass.
There are better places that are closer and cost less money. The empty chair lifts should give them a hint that their prices are out of sorts with reality.
Every person I spoke to here was really friendly and welcoming. They all seemed to love being there. However, I was double charged for my ticket and could not reach anyone in the park about it. I was transferred to a voicemail and never received a call back. Finally had to go through my bank. My friend paid for a ticket in cash after being told his card was not going through. Get home to find he was charged on his card AND he paid cash. I think they were honest mistakes, but still should be addressed. Everything else was amazing!!!
It was beautiful. COVID19 keeps people away, the state and it's 48 hour reservation mandate did not dampen our visit. Pizza Peddler is a great place for a snack!
Beautiful resort! Snowing like in the movies... very courteous people, great services! Coming every year here, best area for skiing and other winter activities.
