This place is supper cool! I am here for the summer visiting (do not know what it is like in the winter). The only thing I had a problem with is it gets very confusing while doing the Ski Lift Scenic View Ride. I went with my friend and I and there are no signs of where the next ski lift is and what trails NOT to go on that are for the bikers. We ended up getting confused going up hill and when asking for directions, it was still not very clear. The adventure was eventually worth it once we got to the top and saw the amazing view! (ALSO, bring water with you or you're going to pay almost $5 for a bottle).

Nice place but don't like there policy to increase the price just for the weekend (long weekend)... Shouldn't you offer the same price all over? Increasing the price just when you get there higher volume should not be allowed!!!

I really enjoyed this mountain as well as where we stayed at the resort. It's got a wonderful blend of easy runs and hard runs. What I really love about Winter Park is the fact that you can stay on easy runs and not get bored or feel like you're only subject to one run the whole time you're on the mountain. The staff is also incredibly kind and really helpful. Especially with children the staff really understand how to make everything an enjoyable experience.

I snowboard out west 2 times a year and this was my first visit to Winter Park. Awesome terrain, lots of families. I gave it 4 stars because I hope I can influence management to improve trail signs. The big signs were fine but the little signs had terrible font sizes. The signs were big enough but the font filled up less than a quarter of the sign area. So day 1 was difficult to navigate. The problem is that once you can read one of these signs it is too late to change course.

I ve been riding at Copper for the past few weeks, but decided to try out Winter Park today because they have quite a few more open trails. All the the trails had exposed gravel and dirt. It was almost impossible to avoid and I have major scrapes on my new board because of it. Most of their open trails should be closed until they get more snow. I will be returning to Copper.

Great time on the slopes here. Road the train up to the resort from Denver, totally worth it! Conditions on the mountain we're great, deep powder and not long waits for the lifts. Definitely a place to visit if you are staying in downtown Denver and need something to do for the day!

I have skied all over Europe and the US: the mountains here are beautiful but the price tag for lift tickets at 139 USD for a half day is a plain rip off! The lifts are old, slow and some don't even have a safety bar. Avoid at all costs if you have alitiude vertigo. These lifts remind me of old European ski resorts from the 50s! The lines on a holiday weekend were really bad. Average wait time of 15 mins...

Bottom line: a day pass for 50 bucks would be in line with what you get! I'm never coming back

Took Winter Park train to Winter Park. We do not ski. We window shopped, ate at some fun restaurants. We tubed at the Coca Cola tubing. I am 61 and had an incredible time. Remember to pick up your butt before you hit the bottom of the run, because there are plastic grates to help slow you down. I hit my tailbone. It hurt so bad. I did 4 more runs, I wanted to get my monies worth. It cost $29 per hour, per person. Differently worth it.

One of our favorite places to snowboard/ski! Very spendy, but worth it for the most part. If you need a snowboard lesson, Chris is your man, regardless of skill level. He was a super-host, very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and accommodating! If you can, park in the North bench lot and walk, it's not far, but get there early.

My family and I were so excited to use our new Winter Park passes today. It's been a tough year as we shut down our business and skiing feels like the only fun thing we can do right now. We were in the lift line for our first run when we were literally yelled at by one of the lift operators to put our masks up over our noses (right in front of my 2 young kids). He was stomping around yelling at different people to put their masks up. We signed up for the ski season to wear a mask over our face but we did not expect to be yelled at and humiliated by someone. What has happened to customer service and common sense? We are outside, at 9,000ft, 6 feet apart, with air movement ... this makes no sense. Not to mention that this is highly discriminatory for some individuals who have medical exemptions but do not want to share that with a large number of people (which is my situation). You have not provided accommodations like other places of business. Please correct this behavior so that the fun of skiing isn't ruined for us all.

We visited WP in the middle of the summer. No skiing, but plenty of other activities. For about 50 bucks you can get a pass for unlimited rides on the alpine luge and a lift ride to the Sun Spot lodge at the top. There are other activities for kids and shopping/restaurants for adults. Lots of fun and a little less pricey than wintertime.

Big wonderful beer fest on the last Saturday in March was awesome. We got snow! The drive in is breathtaking and beautiful. You can take the cabriolet from parking lot (costs $15 to park for the day) and there's great views of tubing. There are restaurants that serve drinks, tons of places to shop and rent skis. Wish I tried to ski, but already started drinking beer. There were tons of local shops selling items during beer fest. Lots of dogs, and some children as well. Live music and unlimited beer tastings was a great way to spend the day.
