Little disappointed, the play park wasn't open and there was very limited animals about. The sand pit was good and the little area for the Tonka toys my son loved. Glad we didn't pay to go in. It's good for a couple hours out. The cafe was lovely though with good food and variety.

What an amazing place! I think I might have loved it more than my son in fact! For a free day out it's educational, it's outdoor, it's at one with nature, it wears the kids out (my son is 14months old) and there's so much to do. My son especially loved picking grass and feeding the kid goats. We didn't visit the cafe but it was packed and I heard some lovely comments about it. Will definitely be going back with friends and family. I have already recommended it.

Not much place for children s to play. Good for children to get an idea about how and where various fruits and vegetables grow and how they look like before they been picked. There are some picnic areas around as well.. good enough in the middle of city

great farm with goats, sheep, chickens, cows, pigs and small furries e.g. rabbits and guinea pigs. They have a small adventure playground too with climbing wall, cargo net and other wooden structures to explore and climb as well as a new big swing.
Lovely newly refurbished cafe too if you get hungry. Our little ones love it here and are more then happy to spend a couple hours visiting the animals and playing around.

Lovely farm, full of a great variety of animals (Goats were a personal favourite) also has a great cafe where we enjoyed a brownie and a coffee next to the chicken pen. Such great value for money considering it relies only on donations with no entry fee.
Would definitely return!

What a magical place! You step through the gates into what I can only describe as a little wonderland of flora and fauna. My little boy had an amazing time. We could only stay for an hour but I would imagine you could spend hours here. They even have a little picnic area outside as well as tables hidden within the garden. So lovely! I wish we lived nearer and will certainly be back on our next visit to Bristol.

Such a fun filled day out at Windmill Hill City Farm. Initially I stumbled upon the farm and had a look around the animals and the allotment. I was so inspired that I ve bought myself some seeds to grow at home.

We went back a few days later to eat breakfast in the cafe and had such a good meal. The products tasted fresh and the service was great. Everyone was so friendly and there was a real community feel about the place. There s undercover seating outside as well which was great on a grey day.

They also provide a good selection of vegetarian and vegan food.
