Fantastic spot to bring your kids and see some wildlife. Highly recommended for families!
An unexpected oasis of the natural world, approximately, within the urban setting of Bristol. Lovely atmosphere, decent coffee, and the bonus of great play opportunities for the kids.
Great experience. Perfect for young families and all.
Brilliant! What a fab place for families to visit in the city.
Lovely not for profit farm. Free entry (they have donation box). They have a cafe and sell some stuff to make money. Goats, cows, sheep, pigs, bunnies, ducks, geese, chickens and Guinea pigs.
Great for a nice day out.
I was there for a friend's birthday and I think it's a good venue for not very big events especially when weather permits to use the outside space as well.
I also got the chance to have a little tour around the farm and I absolutely loved it. The baby goats are incredibly cute and the allotment looks great.
Lovely if slightly random city centre farm...great for kids
Nice and open, animals seemed friendly. Grounds need better maintenance, probably due to low funding. We had hoped to get to pick up/cuddle the rabbits and ginuea pigs but the gate was shut and there was nothing saying it was ok to go in. Looks like the animals are well looked after.
Beautiful open space. The grounds are well looked after, there's always something interesting on the go. Goats are super friendly!
Families with kids of all ages can see farm animals and have some delicious food.
Good little farm. Has a nice cafe. Good place for kids.
Love the new cafe, light and spacious with a super menu!
Haven't been for a few years, cafe refurb and general upgrades here and there are great.
A few sheep and goats in paddocks. Not much parking. Better to arrive on foot, bike or some more eco-friendly transport. City kids meets cloven hooves? Do vegans approve?
See animals, eat lovely healthy food and a walk in the nature is always an adventure! There is also a beautiful shops with unique artistic items!
We've been going here for years. They've done an amazing job of winning funding grants to improve it steadily. It now boasts a fantastic cafe. My son says 'the food and drinks are delicious! When we visited, the farm was even better, the cafe was bigger.'
Wonderfully green place with excellent coffee - an oasis for the whole family to enjoy.
Free to enter, nice place to take the kids to watch animals
I cannot see why one could not fall in love with such a charming place.
Very lovely farm with wide accessible pathways. With the staff keeping on top of the gardening it always looks lovely. My partner and I have done the pottery painting which is round the back of the classrooms and it a very enjoyable More
The volunteers are lovely. They do a fantastic job !!
One of our fav places to visit with out daughter - lots of places to wander and spend time, particularly if the weather is nice. Look for quiet seating places in the allotments area - nice for a picnic!
Lovely place! The food in the cafe is actually worth coming for alone, especially with the free refills on filter coffee and great farm shop. The animals all seem well cared for and happy.
Lovely atmosphere, tasty food and snack, plus good selection of hot drink.i bet the outside space is even more lovely when nice weather will arrive.can't wait.
Great place for Children as well as adults and it's like a little oasis in the city.
Lovely place. Saw a folk gig there. Friendly atmosphere and staff.
This is a well established and obviously very successful City Farm. It is obviously a very popular community hub with diverse users to whom it obviously means a great deal.
Beautiful place to bring your kids and family. Plenty of animals to see. Cute cafe and gift shop. This place does he right thing. Meet people interested in nature and growing plants.
Only visited Bristol but found this inspiring.
Well done and looked after and informative.
Really great city farm that have lot's of activities for kids through the year.
Good selection of animals and fantastic for a family day out.
My 3year old daughter loves it here. The cafe area is currently being extended so has a temporary place from which to serve food. But still homemade and yummy.
Delightful city farm with friendly people an happy animals.
The best place to visit with family, friends and children for a lovely day out. Great range of animals to see, all lovingly looked after by an amazing team to workers & brilliant charitable work carried out!
Very good food..
Nice view good service
Wow, what an amazing place. Great experience for anyone to see a working farm that promotes Eco and ethical values to all. The farm animals and allotments are well kept. On sunny day it would be a great place to have a picnic made from their shop produce or from the onsite cafe
Lovely cake and coffee. Great city farm for us oldies with the grandkids.
One of our favourite places in bristol, my toddler just loves going to the farm.
Tad bored here but kids seemed to enjoy themselves.
A lovely little farm in the middle of the city, just a few animals, a really sweet place, the cafe is amazing though! Such good homely food and reasonably priced too.
Great place to make children get familiar with farm animals
It's a fantastic place to bring kids. Lots if animals and a play area. Excellent cafe on site
Came across this by accident, the man at the Victoria park cafe suggested it to us. My son really enjoyed himself. Although it's a small farm there is plenty to do. Play area, little digger pit in the centre by the cafe. Plenty of picnic areas and they sell the products they grow in the allotments. Toilet facilities also, free to go but I'd make sure you take money for a donation. One of the best free farms we've been to.
A few farm animals and pets such as goats, pigs, cows, ducks and rabbits. Not too much for a toddler to do. It's free so can't really complain.
An incredible place that provides so much for the community. A perfect sanctuary in the middle of the city with animals, plants, loads of activities for kids through the holidays, a place of education, and an incredible nursery that provides the best childcare a parent could hope for. Great cafe and farm shop too!
Great! However , tables need to be cleared more pro actively .
Lovely frittata and salad and pretty reasonable coffee. Not too expensive either. Lovely friendly staff and great environment for the little'uns
Walk through the gates and forget for a while that you are so close to the hellpit of human misery, Asda, which is just down the road. See some animals (real ones, not the kind in Asda), wander around the beds of flowers and vegetables and buy some fresh produce from the little shop.
The farm is a haven of peace that deserves the support of the community, pay them a visit.
Great little farm for the kids. We visited in winter so would like to revisit sometime in the summer.
It a free family friendly place to take the children.
Great place to take children, particularly under 5's. Really nice cafe there too, with seating indoor and outdoor.
My kids have always loved the farm. The revamped cafe is lovely too.
The best place took Bristol to take a wriggling 9 month old.
Go here quite a bit with my friends, it's a chill time
Lovely place to hang out with kids, visit different animals, play outside, have a coffee or lunch. Make sure you wander beyond the farm courtyard into the beautiful, peaceful and productive gardens and paddocks for the full experience. The cafe has WiFi and good coffee. There is also a playground and sandpit on site. They have goats, cows, pigs, ducks, sheep, hens, geese, rabbits and Guinea pigs. Always lots of see and do here and very well set up for families. Photos include one of a pale tussock moth seen having a wander in September.
I love especially their gardens, my children love the activities from the posts placed around the whole farm. Absolute must visit is also the playground
The city farm gets better and better having watched it grow over the years. So many challenges overcome in creating a great place to visit for all ages.
Arrived in the rain but you still didn't disappoint children loved it. Although I think children who live in the city and don't visit farm offen might get more from it.
Free entry! Very sweet little farm with pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks... Also a great veg garden (with a Stick Man trail!) and a cafe (no idea what the food is like). Also a nice outside area where you can eat a picnic if you prefer to bring your own food.
Amazing farm, I've been coming here for over 20 years, I now volunteer here. Brilliant way to show your kids a working farm. Don't forget to say hi to Billy (the goat).
Lovely space in an unlovely urban area.
A fantastic spot for all ages.
Very beautiful and fantastic for the children ... the super good and natural food, I will be sure!
Perfect place to take the little ones. It has animals, workshops and super entertaining and fun activities. In addition, the entrance is free
Inspirational place with gorgeous farm animals! Very blustery with storm Doris today but we managed to shelter in the cafe with some chocolate cake
