Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells Review

This place is a very big place and is spread out all over. But there is bussing and golf carts to take you around. Great for all ages. The workout place needs a lot of updating not a lot of working equipment. But overall it is a good place.

This time of the year the resort offers great deals and the kids will love it

Me and my family always go 2 the dells for some special occasion or just 4 the summer but we only dat once and I was in 4th grade

We had an incredible experience with the Wilderness Resort Cabanas and the service that was provided by Shea. She was incredibly speedy on service, always came to check on us at the time she said she would return. She made an incredible difference in our day. Thank you so much Shea!

It was really fun but the wave pools were always not wavey I guess.

Stayed at least 5 times never had any problems. My son refuses to stay anywhere else.

It's a great place for families with young children. The waterparks are clean and well maintained.

Only problem with the wilderness is how spread out it is. Other than that it's a great time!

Our condominium was beautiful and perfect for the seven of us. Just a short walk or shuttle ride to the water parks.

It is a great place for some family fun and new memories to be made. A wide variety of water slides and fun arcade things to do. The hot tubs could have been hotter but the pools were mostly warm. Overall great experience at the wilderness!

Rooms and waterpark were very clean and awesome all around.

I love going here it's a nice break away from the busy life it's big so you have to plan ahead to get around but for how big it is it's not really loud

This Wilderness resort in Wisconsin exceeded my expectations, it was beautiful, peaceful, and loads of fun things to do for both young and old the staff and drive were great, special shout to drivers on the red line. I been to one wilderness in Tenn. Vow I never go back. But this yes most definitely, and hope to bring a lot more peoples. Thanks Wilderness resort in Wisconsin, you were great ,excellent , . don't want leave.

Great waterpark. It can get loud in the hallways at night so i highly suggest staying in the Caynon side of the resort or bring your ear protection! 3 waterparks within the resort has everything for every age!

Had a great time. Had a condo over looking the lake.. we will be back.

Wonderful fun place. Our group of 23 enjoyed a great weekend. My favorite was the lazy river. So relaxing and warm.

Absolutely amazing! On a scale of 1 to 5, they deserve a 10! They have great water parks and nice hotel rooms. I highly recommend this if you love water slides and are staying in the Wisconsin Dells.

We have visited twice and really enjoy it. The place is huge and has so much to do. You will get lost but never have to leave the resort.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Shuttle busses running throughout the day made it much easier getting from one point to another. Room was clean, quiet comfortable. Making this our spring break destination for a long time to come. Waterparks were all fun and very clean and had a variety of stuff to do for kids and adults of all ages.

From my experience in the dells the wilderness puts all other water parks in the area to shame. From the better rooms, condos, villas. Always love the cabanas quite relaxing. I prefer the suits. My children do also. They are always adding to the attractions and I would know I visit 3 to 5 times a year.

Everything went great only defect i could see was the room radio not working

The hotel itself is nice. I dont think its a good place for anyone without kids to stay at though. My husband and I went for a couple nights and got no rest. There were kids running up and down the hallways up until 2am. Our room had one king sized bed. You would think the rooms around it would be similar but no. There was a family next to us with loud kids and a baby that cried all day and night.

Ive been coming to the Wilderness for years and it never dissapoints. Kids had a blast and we did too

Very nice condo with my only complaints being a shower head that sprayed a wee bit over the shower wall and a jet tub that didn't work until maintenance pointed out that guests sometimes tripped the GFI intentionally to prevent a dying cycle in the middle of the night. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Very disappointed by a waterpark staff member. Tried to enjoy a ride with friends but as I had my leg in the raft she pushed my friends down the slide. All she did was laughed, very disrespectful.

I must say the Wilderness was Covid ready... Our room was very clean, remotes to TV's had plastic coverings, they had hand sanitizer stations and it wasn't over crowded. My family and I had a good relaxing time. Also we tried the restaurant Monk, not a bad place for some wings and a juicy hamburger only thing about the burger that I didn't like was the can mushrooms.

One of my favorite places to go every year. The condos are always clean and look nice and the water parks and all the other activities are a blast as well

Good ride on the wagon. Views where outstanding. The driver knew the place very well . The price was a great value . Go at dusk less ppl and they treated the horses well with giving the two breaks during the ride. Lot of photo ops kids liked the ride also. Good times.

Great water resort! Nice rooms, reasonable prices on food . Great place overall.

4 indoor and 4 outdoor water parks. Ziplines, an escape room and tons of other activities within the resort.

Well worth the money! Condos are great- cant go wrong with price. Resort is CLEAN, staff is friendly. Good value for the money

We're having a wonderful time here at The Wilderness Resort. I came here to celebrate my Granddaughter's birthday and Fathers Day. My granddaughter will dance here on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with her Dance group, The Hot Shots. This place is a huge water park with all the water attractions you would expect, plus two lazy rivers. The rooms are comfortable and scrupulously clean. The outside grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Everything was wonderful !
Couldn't ask for more.

We go with our family mostly during the winter. Less crowded and more affordable Sunday through Thursday. The kids don't have to wait in line as often. Everything is expensive but that's the way resorts are. It is always very clean. Great service.

We adore the wilderness. It has standard clean hotel rooms with a great water park.. multiple great water parks in fact. We do wish the food service was more extensive on the allergy friendly side of things though.

Everything was fine... nothing great, nothing terrible.

Great sunlight in the indoor wave pool and the beds are so comfy ( came in the winter ).

Always go to Wilderness my favorite place at the Dell's.

Everything else is perfect its just that the beds could have some more improvments (unless I was really sensitive that day)

Always a fantastic experience! We've stayed at many different places within the wilderness resort and enjoyed them all. The water parks are definitely the best and we also like that it's close to Cascade Mountain (which is a great place to ski).

Pretty awesome resort! 8 pools to choose from and so much more included! Huge indoor play park and plenty of restaurants and arcades. What more could you need?

1st timer! Been to the dells several times and never stayed at the wilderness. Well from now on that's the only place I would want to stay. I never had to leave the hotel. My family had an amazing time. Prices are reasonable the dining options were great ate at the breakfast buffet which the kids loved. Pizza delivered right to the room. The chocolate covered cheesecake from the chocolate store was awesome. Rooms were clean staff was great.

It was nice. Had a 3 bedroom. Wouldn't go if you're looking party.as it's full of family's..

Bathrooms and railings were incredibly fragile, opening the shower would pull the door off. We were in a large group with multiple rooms, and although we requested to be near each other months in advance, we were still spread through multiple different wings. The whole thing was disorganized on the businesses part, and felt like a scam to milk me out of my money.

Horrible. They didn t have our room ready for about six hours after we checked in, they also allowed someone else to charge $90 to our room with no ID at all. Also, parents must accompany children and pay for tickets for every single attraction. Food and drinks were outrageously expensive, They managed to nickel and dime you every chance they get. We will not be back.

awful unorganized mess. Rooms were good water parks kids will love but the management and organization of everything is awful. If you want a good dells experience pay the extra 50 bucks an night for the kalahari.
