The resort was nice. It was my first time and was blown away by the amount of things to do there. The maintenance guys are really nice too. They helped me dig out of my parking spot after a snow storm.

Cane for a fun, family weekend. We had a great time while here. Didn't order any food, but the service was great. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the furnishings are a bit outdated.
Well worth the moneu spent! Employees could be a little friendlier or act like they enjoy their job a little more but for a big resort it met our expectations.
The stay was awesome and the best hotel I have ever stayed in! The Staff and everyone there were the nicest people I have ever met. The room was very clean, the indoor water parks were awesome especially because I was 10, the over all stay was the absolute best hotel. Thank you all of the staff for the great work, clean rooms, how you guys are nice to everyone, and just all of your hard work for our stay. I probably will come back in 2020. Thank you guys!
I have been coming to this establishment since I was young and the service has drastically changed. It claims to be a family friendly establishment but exemplifies poor quality. The staff was rude and did not seem to care about the guests especially in the go kart area.
This resort is has more indoors water parks than Mt Olympus. This resort is perfect for a winter vacation. If you are heading this way in the summer then Mt Olympus is fine. I had a great experience.
The best resort at the Dell's. There are several outdoor and indoor watermarks to chose from on site. So if one is crowded just move to the next one. The rooms were very clean and perfect for the whole family. There is a lot of walking to and from all the parks which is a downside but it worth the walk. The indoor playground is great for kids and the arcade is addicting. This resort is great year round with all the activity you can do.
The staff was very friendly. There are a lot of activities to do, and it wasn't over crowded when we stayed. They gave us a coupon for a free $15 item at the pottery painting, which we didn't see until we got home. Went to all 3 water parks, and all 3 were enjoyable. If you have smaller children, the Wild West park was the better of the 3 as the play area was the largest. The arcade by that park was the better of the 2, not only in size but they have a large play area in the back.
If you are buying the unlimited wristbands for a child, know that you cannot go with them on the rope course unless you have a band or pay separately. When I bought the unlimited wristbands, I asked If I could go with for all the activities and was told yes. If your child does not meet the requirements for the rope course, you cannot go with them unless you pay or have a band.
Rude staff / Very expensive. Not worth the money. Better resorts out there for the price. Everything is a money-shake-down even the towels. Also extremely packed indoor and out with guests. Would never recommend staying here.
I went here for my oldest child, who turned 13, and she loved it. The hurricane, was her favorite. The only downfall was the really long lines. Wave pool was amazing. Arcade was also amazing. Overall, great place!
Customer service was not good as our sheets on our bed were still damp from the washing process, or at least thats what we are hoping it was from. And when we called and told the front desk about it, they sent us fresh dry sheets up but didnt bother to put them on the beds. Instead the housekeeping gal just handed them to me and apparently expected me to do her job for her. Other than that, the waterparks were nice and clean and although the adult beverages were more expensive than you would buy at a store, they weren't terrible price wise.
It's not my cup of tea for sure...but the accommodations are very nice! The place is just so huge, it takes away from any type of cozy family geared atmosphere...
Checkin was quick and painless however the associate could have been more friendly/personable but she was efficient. Our stay was fun and we had plenty to do. Our condo was ready and clean except for the master bed's bedspread showed unclean areas on it. Other than that, room was great and the wilderness theme was well done. We will return!
They could a lot better toilet paper, and better more powerful blender. The stools and beds aren't for shorter people. We asked a person upstairs a question over text and voice mail without even a return response. It seem that every vacation seems to have a flat in Tennessee we were maliciously lied too. Branson would not take the word no so he kept us from our vacation for over 3 hours more so in pigeon Ford TN.
They advertise pool and hot tub and they no longer have that in the individual buildings to force people to use their poor excuse for an indoor water park
I honestly feel for the families that will experience their first Dell's vacation at Wilderness Resort. Immediately after checking in at 11a.m., my fiancee and I were instructed to talk with a woman before leaving the lobby and going to our room. We were told she would be discussing our discounts and coupons that were given to us upon arrival. We were offered some perks within the resort as long as we, and I quote, "Just toured the new condos on the property." We agreed, figuring no harm would be done. To make a long story short, we spent 2 hours arguing with a sales team that basically was trying to sell us on a time-share type of situation. Our children just sat 5 hours in the car, we already spent over a thousand dollars on this vacation and we just wanted to enjoy our time at the Dells. I completely understand different opinions on this type of 'deal' and the sales pitch that comes along with it. However I am shocked that a resort of this caliber would allow this kind of solicitation to guests that have just checked-in and are nothing but excited to begin a relaxing get-away. Needless to say, the experience was so negative that we decided to stay at an entirely different resort for our remaining time in the Dells, without any issues. I hope this review reaches those first timers that want nothing less than an enjoyable vacation.
Wow!!! What a great time. Some Restaurants were a little stand off-ish, and snooty. But we didn't let that bother us. Love the park and facilities, and Gift Shop Personnel were fantastic.
My husband and I come here practically yearly in the winter for a "get out of the cold" get-away at a great price. With 3 indoor water parks, go-carts, arcades, high ropes course, etc. It's like paradise for the young-at-heart.
This trip was amazing it had so much to do for my teenage daughters and so much to do for me my husband and my little son I can't wait for us to go back
Very clean. Lots of indoor as well as outdoor waterparks for all ages! The indoor buildings connect to avoid having to go outside which we love. They also have shuttle busses to go from building to building. Lots of activities as well as indoor restaurants. We pack up food and eat breakfast and lunch in our room to keep costs down. Near everything else in the Dells strip. Minutes to a 24hr Walmart.
I love the wilderness. Have been there many times. Summer and winter. But i feel they are afraid to enforce the guest only policy. When you go look for wristbands. Many people seem to enjoy pools with no concern of being booted.
We had a lot of fun here. We came on memorial day and stayed one night. We could've stayed longer, there's so much to do. The fun pass added a lot of cool activities as well, like Lazer tag, go karts, mini golf, a sky ropes course and more!
Water park is excellent. Food is OK but nothing special. Service at check in was great and restaurant severs are very helpful, but team members at attractions were not friendly at all. One never even said a word to me the whole time.
The Wife and I stayed at the Wilderness for an anniversary getaway we had a blast. The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed how close we were to the indoor and out door waterpark. The pool bar was a great way to relax. We will be staying here again for sure!
Our kids (6 and 4) had a blast and so did we! So many different waterparks to keep busy in. Attentive lifeguards everywhere. Clean facilities. We will definitely be coming back!
Awesome awesome awesome 4th of July thanks to wilderness! My family stayed in the cabins. We visited all of the parks indoor/outdoor and ate at the restaurants. The cabin was extremely clean and nice. We had all kitchen utensils we needed and the coffee pot was awesome! Room service came in daily with fresh towels for us. We also had an issue where our keys wouldn t let us in on the last day and I called the front desk and maintenance drove out to us in a matter of minutes with new keys.
The food was okay. Kinda what you expect from a resort. High prices and mid quality. Drinks were very expensive and you weren t allowed to bring your own food/drinks to the parks but it seemed to not be super enforced.
Arcades were cool kids loved them (huge waste of money though! Haha)
Indoor activities were nice. The zip line seemed like a lot of money for a very short and basic zip line. I would personally pass on that.
The only real negative I think we had was that the shuttle service was kinda worthless. We ended walking to the parks or driving. I wouldn t waste time on them unless they get them figured out.
Also we were told we would have 4 spots to park at our cabin only to find out those 4 spots were shared with the neighboring cabin. Obviously, it would be silly to take all 4. Not a huge deal but they could have explained that.
We loved our stay at The Wilderness. Everything was clean and well maintained. There are multiple waterparks which is awesome...lines are short and you can enjoy the pool without being overcrowded...unlike many other resorts in the area. This may be due to the fact their parks are for guests only...vs. other resorts allow day passes. We will be going back asap!
Room was ok at best, parking is horrendous if you get back late. Drove around with 9 other cars for 45 mins waiting for someone to leave finally found 1. Only had to park about a quarter mile away. 20 min walk to water park. We won't be back ever. Save your money. Overpriced for what you get.
First timers !!! We had a marvelous time , not all waterparks were open but they had plenty indoor activities and 3 waterparks available. Will definitely be back . We enjoy the Take Flight ride !!!
This is our second stay here. Our first stay I would have given it a five on our first stay. The time we brought along our small family of four (parents, three, and nine year old) and grandparents. We stayed in a lovely condo that had more room than what we really needed. We really enjoyed our vacation villa. Mostly went spent our time outside playing in the amazing water parks. The staff was all friendly and courteous. The only downsides were the fact that there seemed to be little to no communication between staff. An example would be that an attraction would be closed but the front desk would say that it would be open. Also it was very hard for my mother to get around. Rides were few and far between. Very difficult to get through the water parks with a stroller. There are stairs everywhere!
