Took my kids to wild waves first time....overall had a good time. However your lifeguards need more training rescue people rather then stand there and do nothing. My daughter almost drown on lazy river ride. Also observed employee who monitoring areas throughout the park rude/yelling at people. That that was un professional.

The park has taken a dive since it was purchased back drom six flags. Six flags knows what it means to be a tourist attraction even for locals. Current owners dont. This was a swcret sell. Only know because my tot went on the same ride over and over and the person who had worked 5 seasons told me the info. Same original owners boight it back. Obviously teying to get their money back quickly because bathrooms look like a horror movie and the pathways are the weapon of choice. 1.5 hours for certaon rides. Gor there at opening stayed till closing. Last hoir until closing is definatly the best for the money

Long line to get in. We waited 50 minutes just to get. Came on Halloween so that might be why it was so crowded. Haired houses were awesome. I would reccomend, but the park needs better staff.

It's a great place to take kids and hang out on a sunny (or even cloudy) day! The only thing keeping me from giving five stars is that sometimes the concession stands are not adequately stocked, and will run out of products early in the day.

Great family environment. Awesome parking. Need customer service training for staff. All in all. Love that I can take my family here for a fun water park day. I think the park serves local families better then traveling families.

Sad, just sad. An hour into the park opening, we had gone on 2 slides and then headed over to The Riptide, one of the most popular. Upon getting in line, we were told the slide was closing because they were understaffed. The rest of the day was the same, rides were either permanently closed, or on a rotation basis of being closed, so if you didn't time it just right you were out of luck. This of course caused lines at the other rides to be longer.
We were a party of three, so most slides we needed a double tube and one single tube. The single tubes were so rare that the person going single often had to wait 10-15 minutes for a single tube to be available, YES 10-15 MINUTES. Hint: Get more single tubes, or maybe have all the slides open?
Out of the staff that were working, about 1/2 were less than apathetic about their job if that's possible. We experienced/witnessed several staff members who were asked questions or fielded complaints and responded with sheer silence and just a stare. People running the slides and waving people to go, like a get out of my hair gesture, not saying one word to anyone. Staff getting upset at each other and not on the same page at all.
In the afternoon we went to the food stand near the Ring of Fire to get ice cream. There are 2 ice cream bars listed on the menu, one for $3.99 the other for $4.99. I asked what the difference was and literally got a shrug and look of complete confusion. I asked again and was told there is no difference. Seriously. I asked a 3rd time and was told we have chocolate and strawberry left, ok, how much are those ones? $5.49. Alright, we'll just have soft serve, oh that's not working. OK we'll have an Icee, oh that's not working. You get the idea...
C'mon Wild Waves, this was the most disappointing outing with my daughter I've ever had. Hire more people (you may have to up your wage a bit, but believe me you can afford it), and train your staff. They don't have to be rock stars, but this was absolutely pathetic.

Rides are fun its a nice clean atmosphere the only problem is the carousel cafe it has the worse customer service the kids that work there are very uncoordinated plus no training it seems on keeping orders in a fashionable order. The park itself is great for the whole family an lots of exercise put ur good walking shoes on.

Me and my friend were just playing catch with a football, we weren t bothering anyone and then a worker comes and takes our ball and says if we want to get the ball back we have to leave. they didn t even give us a warning to put it away they just took it. Also all the rides kept breaking down or were already closed. Never coming back terrible park

For the most part it's not bad the only thing I didn't like is that they charge extra for the two most popular rides when you are already paying a large amount to get into the place. I mean $20 extra for a certain ride is ridiculously expensive

This place is a nice water park for a family to go to!! In this review, I will be mostly focusing on what I didn't like about the Water Park, so that I can keep this review shortish. If I talked about all of the nice things, this review would be 5 pages long. Having the Season Pass, I want tos hare with you the experience that I had. The first thing I would like to say, is about the food it is SUPER OVERPRICED. A slice of pizza costs 8 dollars! And guess what your NOT ALLOWED to bring food in! If you don't want to end up sppending $40 dollars on food, you need to leave your food in the car, and use re-entry to come back in. Another thing that really annoys me is the Bees/Wasps there. If you buy a drink beware. If you leave it for a minute or less, beware because bee s will get into your drink, making it really disgusting. Those are the only things that I can think of that really annoy me. If you made it this far thanks for reading. -Sam Kuo Local Guide

I've been to most of the California amusement parks. Wild Waves doesn't even come close, but it really doesn't have to: it's got enough to entertain for an entire sunny day. And it's not like a dinkey, dingey place that doesn't care because they know they're the only game in town: they keep this place clean and fresh and nice, and if you live in the area the annual pass and the souvenir cup are a hell of a deal. Roller coasters, water slides, carnival rides, a wave pool, and family fun.

CUTE! and entertaining place for children. Prior to going there, we thought that our 8 year old goddaughter was going to be bored and too big for this place. BUT, she had so much fun and we did, too!! Although lots of the story boxes were not working... and some the animals were inside... it was still a pretty fun place for us to spend 3 hours there!! Reminded us on our childhood fun. The setting is great too... you can go down to the lake Merritt area after you done. Love it!

For the price, there are plenty of other places to go. The park is rather small and costs accrue quickly. Upside here is that most rides are free, so it's pretty much just admission and a locker.

The waterpark has long asphalt walking paths leading from one slide to the next, but they have not done the basic maintenance on it so that it's not a bunch of exposed gravel, so walking from the wave pool to any of the slides and retrieving a tube is physically painful

I had so much fun here, being my first amusement park ever! I think I have found my new adventure side and am wanting to go back again on the I5 Dive and the roller coasters. I love with roller coasters now. XD
However, the food is quite expensive and I think it would be cool to see a more thrilling coaster in the future. Not that the ones you guys have aren't fun, but it would be fun to have more variety instead of only 3, one being closed.

I recommend going on weekdays.
Going on weekends it's not worthy. You won't enjoy waisting your time standing on the sun, 2 hours for each attraction.

Wild Waves is a fun day but a bit pricey without a season pass (I hear it is good at all Six Flags). Parking can be found in the neighborhood to save $12. Bathrooms are conveniently placed but usually gross. No outside food unless you have a food allergy.

Some of the rides are a bit dated but for the most part an enjoyable park. I was fortunate enough to visit during a private event so there was no crowds. I can imagine during a busy day it would not be as fun with long lines.

We came on a living social deal which included parking! There were only 2 attractions (possible one tubing attraction) you had to pay for if you chose to go on them the rest was included in your entry pass. The food was expensive (but I have seen worse) you were able to bring in Gatorade and water (with a hydration station on location which is most important) so it's best to keep your food in your vehicle. Even though it was a hot sunny summer day and a Tuesday the lines weren't as long as I was expecting! I set our duffle bag down with clothes and shoes in it very worried about things getting stolen but not here I felt very safe and secure everyone here was to busy having fun which is great!!! My only advice is to get there right when it opens because we got there at 2 1/2 hrs after so we lost some precious time we might have gotten to go on every thing atleast once but we had so much fun it was hard to get off the ones we liked. Can't wait for the next trip we had so much fun and will be back I highly recommend this place!!!!

I just love Wild Waves. I take my kids there every year. Weekdays are better because the lines are not as long. Since it is expensive we pack our lunch in a cooler and eat at our car at lunchtime. It's nice that we can leave and re-enter the park. They have lockers available but I am too cheep be to rent one. We just don't bring in anything too nice and have never had our stuff taken. Sometimes it hard to find a chair but we are not the sit around type so that doesn't bother us. We just play.

I had fun. One of the busy hot weekends in the summer. They had a couple cool coasters. I really wanted to enjoy the waterslides more but my boyfriend had forgotten his contacts and it's just not as much fun by yourself. My only complaint was they need the lockers to be more obvious on the map. Took forever to find

It was very disappointing today to have an end of the year family outing and to have the Wave Pool closed. This should have been posted on the website as we looked at it before we left and would have changed plans. With the wave pool closed all lines were WAY TOO long.... Tickets should have been discounted ! Sad way to end an otherwise fun summer at Wild Waves.

I wouldnt of given them one star. Family drove over 300 miles and paid over 122.00 for tickets. Ya..place was open week and even DAY before arrived..but closed the day we went. No explanation. The locals..and even employees we met up with at our hotel had no reason why they were closed the day we arrived. We have emailed corprate..we have called...guess we out over 122.00
Plus gas..plus motel..AND VACATION DAYS.
Be careful

This was my first visit to Wild Waves. There was food and drink available but I brought a picnic lunch instead to save on money and have healthier choice. I did not know we could bring our own food in and picnic on the grounds, we picnicked in our car like a lot of other people. After lunch I saw there were areas to have your own meal. I will plan better next time. I was a bit frustrated that they ran out of bottled water at one stand and were plentiful at another leading us on a wild goose chase. All and all, it was a wonderful family day

We stayed here during Veteran weekend. We had a good time eventhough there were a lot of people at waterpark. The waterpark is smaller than I thought but our family still had a lot of fun. Our room was very basic but clean upon arrival and we were able to go in the room at 3:15 pm. Be prepare to stand in line at check-in if you purchased the room through 3rd party (we waited in line for almost an hour). Fast Wifi connection in our room on 8th floor. 4 stars due to high daily resort fee and daily parking fee plus taxes.

To begin with, we're awarding an extra star due to...
To begin with, we're awarding an extra star due to the fact it's a bold move to open a water slash amusement park in the Pacific northwest and rely on three months for a whole year's income. So one star to Gryffindor for that. The second star is because the waterslides, once the hour of waiting in lines that are clearly longer than the park anticipated, are quite delightful. Beyond that our experience was, at best, really damn crappy. For example if you won't let people bring in their own food into the park please consider having fully stocked food kiosks. Secondly, I understand that you end up having to hire a bunch of seasonal people, aka kids, but should it REALLY take three people to change out a bottle ketchup? Also we realize that people will put out towels, etc but walking out seriously felt like walking through a homeless camp. Speaking of homeless camps, we reccomend cleaning the bathrooms more often than annually. One positive thing is that the rest of our weekends this summer will seem incredibly delightful in comparison.
