Absolutely adore Awakwnings Coffee House!
The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, the Baristas and the owner are some of the nicest people I've met. I look forward to stopping by Awakenings when we get an order for them with Espresso Yourself Now, LLC.

This is the only coffee shop that I visit with any regularity. I love their hot chocolate and tea! The staff is always very friendly and the atmosphere is perfect to read a book while having a tasty drink

The atmosphere is the best part of Awakenings. I love knowing it is big enough so I can always find a seat. The biggest drawback for me is that it is over-priced and the coffee is mediocre. I m sure to eat before I go as to avoid spending $4 on a small piece of bread, but I do still go for the atmosphere which makes it worth it.

Friendly staff, long wait, great atmosphere. The ladies in front of me were told to not even bother ordering breakfast by the girl at the register because it would take too long to get. So I ordered a coke and a bagel and was 20 mins for that and a tube of cream cheese...

I love awakenings! Really the best coffee in Boise in my opinion. They have great gluten free muffins too!

It's a cute coffee shop and I'm sure the coffee's great however I waited forever for my sandwich and then when I got it it was like a 2 by 2 sandwich for $9.50 that's just outrageous!

This place is simply awesome.

The staff are incredibly attentive. The restaurant is clean, and there is a variety of seating options.

Food and coffee choices are robust, and they give you HUGE portions. I've been here 3 times with my wife on busy weekend mornings and the entire experience has been impeccable each visit.

I highly recommend this establishment.

I never knew this place was here. A friend asked me to meet here and I went a little early. I absolutely loved how big it was on the inside and the variety of seating was amazing. The coffee is also great. I will definitely be going back!

I'm not thrilled with this place. Air condition seems broken as I sweat inside at 78F. Coffee Americano is weak. The good thing is there is plenty of seating in various shapes and forms.

Nice atmosphere, but the hot cocoa wasn't really HOT. I got it in a mug, so maybe the mug made it cool down faster than a cup.

Good location. A lot of space with 2 large couched seating areas. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Eclectic, distinct varieties of coffee. Recommend sampling before choosing which brew to order. Limited food menu but very high quality. The Boar's Head meat and cheese trays with local hummus are great!

Great atmosphere! Great service! Great coffee! Great, moist zucchini bread. Omelette= meh. Had the turkey with Pepper Jack cheese. Dry, bland. Homemade o'brians were good. Will return...but not for breakfast.

Like to go hear on Monday night to hear the live music but the coffee has been cold the last couple of times I have been there. They need to make the coffee more often and keep it worm.

All the important elements are here: Wi-Fi, quiet, atmosphere and REALLY good coffee. The employees are very nice and quite knowledgeable. People play board games here. I would feel very comfortable hanging out here in just about any capacity.

Coffee is on party with other places but what sets this place apart is the atmosphere. Calm, wide open dining area with couches and plenty of table space. They even have art on the wall from local artists! (pictured below)

Very comfortable place to meet someone or chill. Expert baristas and very fresh locally roasted beanz. There are so many corners in this big place, there's one just for you.

Love this place! Great coffee, great atmosphere. My only complaint is the traffic. Wish it was easier to get in and out of the parking lot. Still 5 stars though!

Extremely disappointing. I visited after purchasing a certificate from a deal/discount vendor. My first issue was that I arrived during the hours advertised for their very appealing breakfast menu. After trying to order breakfast I was told they had to send their breakfast chef home. So my only option was the very limited lunch menu. Sigh. Then when paying I was told they would not accept my certificate since they stopped participating (even though the certificate was unexpired and valid from the vendor). That meant I overpaid for what I got (portions weren't very generous for the price). Sigh. Then to top it off? They put mustard on my sandwich when I specifically asked them not to. Gross. Yes, they fixed it quickly and apologized, but by then I was so unimpressed. I will never be back. What a disappointment. The food was okay though.

Was needing a comfortable and safe place to meet with someone I'd never meet other than by phone. We arrived around 7:45 pm and was told that they close at 8:00pm, but without hesitation the staff person said we could stay and enjoy our tea while they were doing thier closing routine. Unfortunately my new friend ordered a coffee drink that could not be made due to they had already shut down the machine. This was no problem for either of us and my friend also ordered tea. After the Batista completed the order she offered us a free drink card for the inconvenience. I was impressed with the her ability to handle each situation with ease that usually is awkward for most. We had a wonderful conversation in a comfortable area of the shop never noticing the staff closing up. The artwork, layout, & products were done nicely and I felt relax in the atmosphere. Another staff member told us they had already been closed for a while, but would five minutes be long enough for us to wrap it up. At this piont I was extremely i.prezsed with the service and each individuals manners, kindness, & professionalism. Wow, an establishment that hit every mark. We took no more of thier time and as we were leaving another staff member offered us some of thier cuisine that otherwise would be thrown out. I'm kicking myself for not taking it as I'm siure it would have been as great as the service. To all the staff at Awakenings Coffee House, you are absolutely the best working team I've ever seen in action. And even though I was focused on my new friend, I walked away thinking, I've got to come back just to see it it's real. See you soon!

Came here for a meeting and enjoyed the place, it was clean and inviting and the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and thought it was really good. Although I didn't have one, their Danish looked awesome and I regretted not ordering one. I enjoyed the atmosphere and I'll definitely be back for some coffee.

Awakenings is a breath of fresh air as far as coffee shops go. As you enter this shop, your eyes are immediately pleased by it's ambiance. The staff is friendly and the drinks never disappoint. It's aromas all blended draws you in and keeps you feeling comfortable and content to stay. The perfect meet up for any occasion.

I hold my small group here every Tuesday and it's been one of my favorite locations to host group meetings in recent memory. Loads of space, awesome coffee, and friendly staff. I would recommend anyone going here for a meeting, or for a quiet place to work. Love Awakenings Coffee!

Sweet vibe that's more local and authentic than the Starbucks and Dutch bros around. It's huge inside with plenty of private nooks and open spacing. Featuring local small batch roasters and the charm of real people with big smiles. I'll be back.
