LK Protection Review

Appeared to be a good place, didn't have the opportunity to judge; however, the environment in the office seemed good.

Very Unprofessional. Scheduled a fake telephone appointment and wasted my time . Got a call for interview and cut the call and tried 3 times to call them back and didn t pick the call. Needs improvement

these is no 0 star button but this place deserves a 0 star. The staff is extremely unprofessional and most of them dont have a strong grasp on the English language. There was a lot of miscommunication. When I went in for my interview- in the TTC from Scarborough to vaughn, ( takes 90 mins) the receptionist told me that my interview was rescheduled and that I would have to come back because there was no one available to see me. There was no email or phone call informing me of that change and I travelled there for no reason. The receptionist doesnt speak english so it was hard for me to communicate my situation to her. She was extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend working here to anyone.

Be Careful guys. Don't fall in their job trap. They promised me a full-time job and gave 1 day/week for almost 3 months. They took $225 from me for unifrorm (2 shirt, 1 pant & jacket). Uniform was free for other employees. They want you to leave after they sell the products. You have to do many non-paid jobs at the location. They even took these back from me hold my payment until I sent it to them by paying from my wallet $15 courier charges. DON'T FALL IN THE TRAP. Worst job experience in my life.

Do not work here. Was running late and was told by the woman at front desk to make it by 4:30, I get there at 4:28 and was informed the person conducting the interview was already gone home. Totally unprofessional that the hours say 5pm close and they go home late even when they know someone is still on the way. Just wasted 2 hours getting here for nothing.

One of the worst security companies I've had ever worked for.....they simply just don't care about their employees no matter if you are dying, they just care about their own (People)race, in other words these people are the worst racist and their supervisor Leonard is the biggest A*****e on this planet earth. My honest advice to all security guards, NEVER EVER WORK FOR THIS Small and cheap company. On top of that they hired you for F/T and give you P/T hours, because good companies don't want to give their business to these small companies with no reputation and Integrity, they are just the crawling cockroaches of the security industry.
Their interview and hiring process is a Joke. Even if you have a license or not, they will hire you immediately because after working for few weeks one can see the inside story, people quit due to their wrong policies.
These days you will see their add all over the place , this is the proof.

The other members of management are well on par too. Great company! Worked there for over 4 years and the owners definitely got your back whenever you need it. Hours were steady and co-workers were great to get along with. Definitely a good job to have if you want to get into Policing as well.

This company is a joke, take the reviews seriously. The owner and secretary and both very rude and they dont pay what is advertised in there job postings. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to be employed by this scam artist.

The interview went well...but only from my side of things. Management seemed irritable when I showed interest in the company structure and procedures. Their main focus was getting me hired, signed, and out the door. They were very uninformative and expected me to just jump into the first job that was thrown my way without my consideration or input. I would probably compare this company to the 'Wal-mart of Security Companies'- hire cheap labour, treat their employees with little dignity, and disregard human needs.

Pays $14.50 but They ask for so much. Not Fair at all. Sorry

Extremely rude, unprofessional security personal with a car with the license plate BZZK 364 harasses Wal-Mart customers at Hwy 7 and Jane location. He assumes without any prejudice that the driver is planning to take TTC and leave his car on the Wal-Mart parking lot and thretens to tow the car.
The complaint has been made to the Wal-Mart and the Smart Centers who own the Wal-Mart parking lot and hire this unprofessional company to monitor it.

I did an interview there today and right off the bat that Leonard character was disrespectful. Honestly it's a waste of time to go for an interview there if your trying to apply for the mobile position. These guy don't tell you what requirements are need until the interview. These 5 stars are FAKE employees just trying to lure you in..

They dont make clear what exactly they are looking for..just tend to call the candidates.
They dont have enough part time work.

I've been working with LK Protection for more then 2 years & had to leave only due to my relocation . Wonderful, Flexible , Respectful Environment . Friendly Atmosphere . Professional attitude . Great place to work at .

I haven't had any dealing with this company as per services. My problem is with the driver's of their company vehicles! AT LEAST 1 OF THEIR DRIVERS HAVE NO REGARD FOR PUBLIC SAFETY. I will definitely be making a complaint with traffic services regarding the driver who almost caused an accident by cutting me off, despite lack of space pushed his way into the lane he literally changed out of. My question is, if they cannot follow the rules of the road, why on earth would someone pay LK Protection to protect their company/property or assets? It may not sound like a big deal but the actions of YOUR careless driver could have resulted in serious injury or death.

Awesome owners and an excellent company to work with been there from last 3.5 years . And got supported like a family anything you ask them either u will get that or you will get a reasonable explaination why not, either way they Always take an extra step to make sure that employe is been taken care of . As an experienced guard , as a new guard or as a client I will deffinately recommmend LK Protection as a place to be considered in your top most priority list while considering Law and enforcement .Leonard and Alex treats every employe and every client as a family. I appreciate these guys for what they have provided me all the way through my journey at LK .
