I have had a terrible experience, Nobody knows what's going on. I got cut off services, they send a technician, he comes over and says they disconnected your service. My bill is up to date and it has been 5 days without internet. They still can't figure it out. Not to mention the technician named Sylvester, is extremely rude. I have talked to him multiple times and he asks me what is going on, I tell him and then he cuts me off, repetitively, and then asks the same questions again. Bad experiece I recommend you go elsewhere for your services. If you get a man named Sylvester in technical support, I suggest you hang up and wait for another technician. As he is not pleasant to deal with. The rest of the staff were polite and kind, and didn't make me feel as though I was a nuisance to them.

Terrible internet service provider and terrible customer service. I am consistently having connection issues and get little to no help from customer service. The company also goes silent during large scale outages, they do not communicate with their customers. In my experience, during prolonged outages, they simply do not answer customer service calls. As I am writing this review I have been on hold for 45+ minutes. They also raise their prices without warning, which leads me to my next issue; they are way to expensive. 0/5 stars.

Horrible Tech/Customer service, i would recommend using another ISP

Started having packet loss issues when i changed my internet service speeds. verified things in my house were fine so i opened a ticket via their portal and did what the techs asked. got short response from the tech blaming my hardware(that things were tested without and issue still persisted so couldn't be the problem) and they closed the ticket out without confirming the issue actually was fixed.

had to open a second ticket to try and get it fixed again. did some more work with the techs and confirmed that the packet loss wasn't my equipment and was told it was being escalated to to their networking dept. heard nothing after a period of days and issue persisted. checked on the portal and my second ticket had been closed and no follow up info/email/call was given.

Opened a third ticket referencing the previous two tickets and asked to have a manager contact me on the issue. That was Saturday, today Monday nothing so i engage their web chat feature with tech support and plead to speak with a manager about this. repeatedly told the best that person can do is email the manager to call me when they have time. repeatedly ask for a time frame or anything and express my frustration with this lack of customer service.

Service was fine when it worked before the speed change. but since with the issues support has been a joke.

Called in to inquire on switching services from Rogers, bundle. Wightman CSR was interested only in telling me how difficult the transfer would be? Huh? She went further to inform me that Wightman needs a 3 yr contract for new customers, Huh? Can we safely saw backward thinking? Most telecom companies have rid their internet and land lines services from complex contracts like 5 years ago. Well thanks anyways for telling me all the services you don t offer in advance if actually trying to get my business. Refrain from sending me further mailers. Thumbs down. Guess big box names are better.

Terrible service, internet quits out constantly. Called 6 times and had a tech come in three times to fix it and not only did they not fix it, one of the times they messed up the phones and tv when they left. Had to call again to get them to fix it. Intenet still doesn't work today and it's been almost 3 months. If your considering going with wightman I recommend reconsidering.

We have had Wightman internet and cable for 3+years... ever since fiber was available in our area. We absolutely love the service! I can count on one hand how many times the internet has had disruptions. And, when the internet has gone down, it's always been rectified very quickly! We love that if there is ever an issue, we can call and immediately be in touch with someone to help. They are all always so helpful and friendly. Today, we were driving through Hanover with our truck and 30 foot trailer. We decided to stop in at the Tim Horton's. When we went to leave, we realized that the only spot we could get turned around was where a Wightman truck with trailer had parked. The tech was heading into Tim's. He immediately saw our predicament and went back to his truck to move it in order for us to get out. This happened today, Monday, June 15th at about 2:45pm. Whoever this tech was -- a huge thank you! We absolutely love dealing with this company!!!

Overall the service isn't awful, internet is good for the country, never let us down. Cable has issues the odd time. The install was awful. They littered our siding with screws and drilled a hole through the upper level without our consent. I called customer service, they sent out a useless tool named Mike. He said it needed to be done, said that we signed off on it (not true). We were never asked. It looks awful.
