Came here for a work christmas party in December on the tennis courts, I wasnt too impressed. It was just fine. The kitchen is on the other side of the building so the staff had to run far to get food which made getting served frustrating as it took 10x as long to get food, wine, drinks, etc. The staff tried their best but I think there is a management issue in terms of getting food out. There was also a significant amount of time, during the actual event, of the lights people messing around and turning main lights on/off. Not sure what they were doing back there but every time you walked by they were all cackling to themselves or on their phones.

Just in general it was an okay experience for a spa that I've heard nothing but good things about. If you're having a large party here I would recommend avoiding booking anything on the north side of the building such as the tennis courts or be prepared to wait an extra 45 minutes for your food.

Great service at the LIV Restaurant and Play Cafe. However, we found the previous guest's takeout containers in our fridge upon arrival. While we were out at dinner, house keeping came to clean it out. When we returned to the room we found the door held upon by the security latch. We had no idea how long it had been unlocked. Management didn't offer much of a solution.

High quality resort with staff who really care about your experience. Great food and great spa - they are not cheap but are worth it. The workout facilities are amazing. And....very close to shopping!

Nice resort with very nice staff. Slightly older property and you can see evidence of that walking around. No real views that I can see, but the grounds are very well taken care of. Close to a factory outlet mall and local vineyards. I would stay here again.

I went to the spa with my bridesmaids for my bachelorette weekend. It was a great experience. Staff treated us very well even though we were late for our appointments. It was great to have access to the steam room, sauna, hot tub and pool included in our spa day. I would love to go back :)

The front doors slide open to reveal several smiling staff members to welcome you; as you enter, you will see the impeccably clean and tastefully decorated lobby (with fresh-cut flowers). The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food at the resort is tantalizing and prepared with care. I cannot say enough about the staff so warm and courteous. The spa provides a full slate of services and the facial was deep and thorough. We plan on making White Oaks Resort and Spa and annual event a pilgrimage to this oasis is the perfect antidote for those winter blues.

I am a gym member and enjoy the many benefits such as yoga, zumba, pilates, spinning and aqua fit classes with weight room and various cardio exercise machines. They have excellent trainers to advise you on your fitness program.
If you like tennis, racket ball or squash this is the place to be.
I have never used the spa but friends have and have nothing but good words.
The Play restaurant and coffee bar is excellent. For a real night out you have to try the Liv Restaurant and get ready to be spoiled with the detailed service, meal presentation and preparation. My wife and I enjoy the dining experience at Liv.

Having visited WO for almost ten years, it s so very sad to see the quality of the place decline and the costumer service subpar. The best part of the place is arriving with the most congenial bell-hops and concierge ever!! They really make the place! While the grounds are gorgeous and some of the updates are beautiful, the suites need a face lift. The spa does a fair good job... massage was very good and the scrub was quite delightful. Dinner however, and for the last three visits, at LIV has been shockingly bad with ridiculous pricing. On one occasion, with work colleagues, we waiting on a very slow night for 2 hours to get entrees only to have the tuna not palpable. On this bi-annual girls weekend, most of thought the meal was only ok. I had the striploin and was disappointed; the Keg and any other chophouse does a much finer job. When checking out and asked how our stay was, the check out attendant wasn t very warm to our general complaints. Upon check-in, we were explained credits etc and there was some miscommunication; the new reception person had erroneously provided us with promised credits and upon checkout, she wasn t going to honor the same. We ll ultimately, it didn t sit so well with my friend.
For a large institution, the customer service is lack luster. It was once exceptional and now, for our last few visits, has taken an obvious decline. Having given WO multiple chances, unfortunately, their luck has run out. We ll be looking at other venues for our bi-annual excursions. So sad. Too bad.

My fourth time at WOCR & SPA was good; mind you it started a little rough with the SPA services and a discrepancy with our booking date and times. If a client books a SPA time and you don't get confirmation or feedback, the SPA may just take that extra step to call the client and I'm sure the client experience would have been A++++ instead of just an A. Front Reception tried to redeem my disappointment with a $10 meal voucher (for two people) but the damage was done.
Other options will be considered when booking a weekend 'getaway'.

All other items were good.

I spent the weekend with my BBF's at White Oaks and had a fabulous time. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was professional and welcoming. The food was great and the SPA wonderful. And, it was great to have shopping right across the street. I highly recommend it. We will be going back soon.
Thanks White Oaks for a wonderful weekend! -Cheers!

Nice, modern hotel with several good amenities. The club has all types of gym, spa, pool and other sporting facilities. The attached restaurant (Liv) is very expensive and the food is not up to par to the rest of the resort.

In all the resorts we have stayed at, this place has the most comprehensive and state of the art work out facility I have ever seen and experienced. Location to Niagara on the Lake and the outlet makes it perfect for my wife and I. Staff are respectful and polite and try to acomadate to customers needs. Rooms are very comfortable almost makes you not want to leave. Would definitely recommend this to couples who are opposites and like different things like my wife and I, because there is something for everybody.

Nice place, clean, zen like environment, with amenities such as a pool, basketball, racquetball courts. Nice meeting spaces and even one EV parking spot (only one) but because it is also a resort spa. Chances are only one guess will get to use as they will park there and leave it over night even if they don't need to. Would be better if the just put some 120 Volt plugs for over night guest and put a time limit on the Level 2 charger maybe use a valet service to ensure fair access as they already have that in place.

We were visiting using a gift certificate and have had no problems with using it and still receiving the same quality of service as we'd otherwise expect. Great treatment down in the spa, and staff in the Liv restaurant have been amazing and very attentive. Our room was freezing when we came in, but that was easily adjustable and the temperature warmed up in about an hour. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Went for a weekend getaway. The resort is easy to get to, located right off the highway across from the Niagara outlets. The hotel/spa are all gorgeously decorated, and you don't feel like you're right beside the highway. We didn't get to see a lot of the outdoor features as the weather was bad. We did one of the packages where we had a spa credit and a dinner credit at LIV, as well as a room. Definitely worth the money. The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The spa was professional, clean, and relaxing. The low lighting, candles, and music have a great vibe, and the massage therapist was attentive. She gave more pressure when needed and less when necessary. I'll be giving a separate review of LIV, but overall it was amazing!! Staff at the spa resort were all very attentive, pleasant, and did their jobs well. Overall an amazing experience. Would definitely go back.

It is time for a renovation of the too long walk to your function areas. The ramp you have for disabled visitors just makes the walk much longer. Surely a shorter walk could be designed for weddings, galas, etc. or at least a complimentary wheelchair at the front door available. Also the washrooms are not close to the functions being held and not signed very well. I have not come to many functions at White Oaks for these reasons. Also was at a wedding this past weekend where a pasta was served with olive oil sauce which was okay but the dish of grated parmesan cheese tasted like ground up salt. The blisters on my tongue are just now healing. The prime was delicious though. As a former owner of an Italian eatery perhaps your cooking staff need some training on the quality of condiments such as cheese being served.

This is an extremely nice hotel with all the amenities. I was there over the weekend for a university squash tournament, and the hotel had everything I could want. The club areas were great and the steam room was a godsend after matches. The rooms are nice and we'll maintained, and I slept very well in the beds. Didn't really try any of the food on-site except for the little cafe above the club, but the coffee and bagels there were very good as well. Had a great stay here and would definitely come back on my own time.

This was a top-notch resort with very clean, extra...

This was a top-notch resort with very clean, extravagant rooms and plenty of amenities. The staff was nothing short of professional and during your stay you feel like royalty. The food at Liv restaurant was truly amazing and the lunch at the grill there was also very good. Breakfast was below average but room service was phenomenal. You pay a premium but you get a premium experience.
The bone that I have to pick with my entire experience was the (expected) nickle-and-diming that they do. Instead of putting together a package that looks as appealing as possible prior to purchase, I would suggest increasing the price and make this truly a wonderful experience. Let's not make the customer do math in their head every time they order something. Our package included $150 credit for dinner and $50 credit for breakfast. I would rather just pay another $100 up front and you just tell me "dinner for two is included, breakfast for two is included". I knew, of course, that dinner and breakfast would end up shooting past the credit amount, I just hate having to even think about it though. Am I being pampered or not?
Dinner was well worth the $190 we paid ($40 over the credit amount). It was amazing. Breakfast, I found it really cute of them to charge $25 for bacon and eggs. So cute! It was like my 7-year-old daughter charging me a "kajillion dollars" for her pretend eggs. I mean, why not offer me a $100,000 credit for breakfast, and then charge $25,000 per egg? Super cute! For what it's worth, the bacon and eggs are (slightly) better at my local greasy spoon (for six bucks).
Bottled water should be in the fridge with a sign that indicates "complimentary". We called down asking for it (expecting to pay) but they brought it up free of charge. Hiding this nice amenity kind of rubs me the wrong way. It makes me feel like they are hiding it from guests so they can save money if guests don't ask for it. Picky, I know, but I just dropped $1000 bucks there so I can be picky.
The spa was nice, but my wife gives me better back rubs. She wasn't happy with her facial, either. Seemed quick and soft to her. But it was relaxing and professional with friendly staff.
To summarize, I don't expect to be back. I can spend $1000 on a quality hotel room and three high-end meals and a spa day separately - and have $300 to spare to spend on a play or gifts or something - in another, smaller city (and have - the Bruce Hotel in Stratford last year was better at half the price).

Stayed 1 night, for use of the spa and a mini getaway. All staff on every level/area were super helpful and friendly. We stayed in a double queen, and was very clean and comfortable. The mini fridge didn't hold too much, was a weird set up, but there was one in the room none the less. I had gone to the spa for a massage and was a great experience, if you go, try to arrange for the RMT Michael. He was very professional, good pressure, and knew how to navigate certain muscle issues. Overall it was a great experience and I would absolutely return for another getaway!

Beautiful hotel, and lovely rooms. What really made our experience amazing has been the staff! Thank you Amanda for the warmest welcome and Michael for going above and beyond to make our birthday stay the best! Michael truly is one of a kind. We are both in the customer service world and are blown away!

I am so disappointed with this resort. They got my booking wrong and tried to blame me and they made no effort to make amends, really souring my anniversary. Also, because of COVID hardly any of their facilities are open, but they did not post any info on their site. If you want hospitality, pass on this place.

Overall good experience. There were some challenges with booking there packages. unfortunately you can't book packages only. Superior room was quite specious. There was a small TV in the bathroom, however, bath tub was kind of a pod, did not like that. Overall facility is great. Nice resultant and food. There were water bottles in the room which were $3 each unless you are a reward member. I was expecting the front desk staff to tell about reward membership, as I was not aware if any such thing exists.

Unfortunately, do to a scheduling mistake at the spa my girls day with my mother turned into a me day. I didn't get to see her once... we booked weeks in advance and were looking forward to seeing each other as we haven't had a chance in weeks. I asked the and she said when it was booked we were aware nothing would be together. It was upsetting she didn't believe us or appologize. That being said everyone else was amazing, their food and amenities are great but it was ruined by the fact I spent so much money and didn't get to see her all day which wad the point. Near the end of the day someone did come and offer me a cheese plate to make up for it (assuming they realized they messed up?)... we had already made lunch plans though. So if you are still reading moral of the story is make the spa is very busy if you make an appt with someone make sure you are actually with them and they won't move your appointment time.
