White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa Review

The White Oaks Resort and Spa was a very exceptional hotel that was very accommodating to us customers. When at the hotel we encountered a very small issue and they were more than happy to help. The front desk was very friendly and helpful to the needs of their clients. Definitely coming back on our next trip to Niagara.

We stayed overnight at White Oaks resort. There was plenty of activity for us, including squash, gym and pool. The food and service at Liv restaurant were amazing.

We had a great stay. Everything was top notch and we enjoyed all the little touches like the complimentary bottle of wine.

We just held our 2018 Strategic Planning retreat at White Oaks and we were blown away by the faciltiies and the service. All of the staff was extremely friendly and so helpful. Our coffee cups were always full and the food was fantastic. We highly recommend planning your next company retreat there.

Our favourite home away from home not only do we feel safe and cared for with the cleanliness of the hotel, the staff are all amazing and friendly/personable. Already been to stay twice since the hotel reopened!!

The food was great the service was excellent and the waiter very helpful with any questions!

Very nice Fitness Center with steam room and sauna. Large indoor pool. Great conference facilities. Interesting tour of the bed hives on site. Great corner room (550) with a nice view, a bit far from everything (depends what you like). Secret: the chef is the bee keeper.

Would not refund me my $ for my reservation even though I could not travel there due to travel ban. Ban was extended which prevented me from traveling to the property for my reservation and I canceled in the time period that they ask for how is that not thievery?

Gym member. It's expensive, but worth it for the included classes and services (yoga, steam room, squash courts)

I stayed at White Oaks with a group of 8 girlfriends on a ladies weekend. We enjoyed the spa, including a VIP lounge with drinks and snacks. The rooms were beautiful and spacious and well equipped for 4 guests per room. We loved it all! Thank you!

For a winter retreat or pampering yourselves in the summer, I would always consider White Oaks. Facilities, access from the highway, food options, and the best people.

It is a glorified motel. Not even close to 4-star, and they call themselves 5-star! Beware the "resort fee" rip-off. An extra fee you have to pay for use of what should be included, such as the pool, fitness centre, etc.

Visited the White Oaks Resort for a meeting. There was a fresh blanket of snow and the resort looked magicala, I noticed lots of greenspace and paths. Given that the hotel is obviously old the interior had clearly need updated. Our meeting room did the job, but wished there were more outlets. Snacks and coffee were severed all day outside the meeting rooms and excellent. The coffee was a bit terrible :( but the lunch made up for it. Best hotel buffet lunch I've ever had. Hotel is in a random location but great for visiting wineries and the falls.

Was there for a wedding. Beautiful venue and I would love to visit again as a getaway weekend trip.

I visited White Oaks for a special dinner event and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The facility is top-notch, immaculate and tastefully decorated. The meal, a 9 course tasting menu, was absolutely phenomemal. Our server was personable and professional, suggesting perfect wine pairings for our meal. I had a wonderful evening and would absolutely do it again.

Hands down once of the nicest resort experiences I ve ever had. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary there and truly had an unforgettable weekend. Shortly after checking in we were surprised with chocolate dipped strawberries Delivered to our door and later that evening, complimentary champagne and a personal visit from the manager to our table to wish us a happy anniversary. The personal touches like these were what make the difference at this resort. Not to mention the grounds are beautifully landscaped - perfect for an early evening stroll weather permitting! We had a deluxe suite and it was luxurious and huge and super clean! Loved Play Lounge, Grow Cafe and all the other wonderful amenities. Having the Premium Outlet across the street was a great treat! I cannot end this review without mentioning the superior customer service we received by each and every staff member that we encountered - friendly, helpful and always smiling. I highly recommend a stay at the White Oaks...you will love it!

All good except for the part that we were staying there since friends were getting married close by and we couldn't check in earlier. I called in advance to ask and receptionist told me to call back later - apparently the hotel can't call UK numbers, which I found ridiculous.

We had a lovely experience during breakfast on the 19th of September. The ambience was great and just refreshing to be there and really enjoy the food and atmosphere.
The service was also great especially from Serk who was really exceptional and pleasant, checking in and really making breakfast a well-rounded experience. Definitely enjoyed the stay and hopefully will be there in the future again.

We did the couple's kickback for our mini-moon/honeymoon this past weekend and while it was nice enough, we didn't understand the allure and definitely don't agree with the value for money. We had quite a few issues involving the cleanliness of the rooms and it didn't seem like anyone cared what we were celebrating. It's a nice enough place, but I would probably rent a room here on a promo but not sign up for any packages. Upon checkout, the manager was very kind to work a few things out for us, but by then the weekend was over and we just wanted to leave. Note: Food at Play was delicious! Definitely go for drinks or dinner. Breakfast was nothing special.

Lovely room with all the amenities. Excellent response by staff to problems with coffee maker. Arranged for complimentary wine and cookies to acknowledge my birthday. Excellent location for visiting wineries. Would definitely stay here again.

I spoke with staff on the phone about a booking issue that I had and they seemed uninterested in my issue with no suggestions on how can can solve it myself.

Amazing service. Staff were always courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Full onsite gym, spa, sauna, pool, squash and tennis courts, etc. Location is a short walk to the best outlet mall in Niagara. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

The best place to stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake - period.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at White Oaks, and we loved every minute! The staff were amazingly kind, and always asked how we were doing/how was our day. The concierge/guest services/doorman went out of his way to recommend some wonderful meals at the restaurant in the hotel. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!

Had a wonderful night out with my wife! Wine tour, and a wonderful dinner. We will be returning to try out the spas next time.

Fantastic service and overall the best in the region and beyond.

The location isn't bad, but it's distance from certain wineries leaves something to be desired. Otherwise not a bad stay . A really nice gym Some lack of detail in regards to cleanliness in the bathroom, and a particularly rude waitress at the bar, but I would stay here again if need be

I'm very disappointed with my experience with White Oaks. I signed up for a free trial online for the fitness club and I didn't hear back from the membership office. I went in and the front desk had to leave a note on the club rep's desk to call me. The club rep finally calls me and gives me the times to come in to sign up. So I come in during the hours and there was no one there. Again, my information was left on the club rep's desk. On top of this I have called and never once reached anyone in the membership office. I emailed letting them know about my experience and I received a response with in 10 minutes apologizing and saying my email would be forwarded to a membership rep directly for a response. I have yet to be contacted. The situation is even more upsetting because White Oaks was offering a promotion for 50% of the enrollment fee. However, the promotion has now ended and I missed the opportunity to take advantage of it because no one has/is contacting me.

I loved my stay here. We did a package which includes some breakfast credits and spa credits. Did the massage, it was amazing. The grounds are beautiful, the on site cafe, bar and LIV is amazing. Super friendly staff, clean well kept. We re already planning our next trip back!

The only downfall is the parents that feel the need to bring their loud, obnoxious children. Seriously, it s a spa. People who work hard are there to read a book outside, enjoy the pool in peace without kids screaming and jumping all over the place. We re there for a getaway from the real world.
I d love to see this become an adult only resort, or at the very least for parents to respect others in the world and perhaps go to Great Wolf Lodge, or somewhere that isn t a retreat and spa.

Had a great time last May to celebrate a special birthday and wanted to give some credit to the wonderful staff, especially Aliyah at the front desk who accommodated our changing needs with swiftness and elegance. We will be back!!!

Absolutely amazing service, the staff and reservations rep went out of their way to make sure our stay was extra special. The attention to detail and acknowledgement of the occasion we were celebrating was amazing! The spa treatment was so serene, I ve never been so relaxed!

We had our wedding at the white oaks this past November! We cannot say enough good about this place! Staff went above and beyond to ensure the comfort and quality of stay for our guests! Alicia and Jennica in the wedding office were both amazing and took very good care of us! Achilles was our bar tender and server and he was A-mazing and helped us have a great night!!! Thank you to everyone at the White Oaks for helping us have the perfect wedding!!

This is our 3rd time being to the Resort. Our 3rd wine tour as well. This resort and city never disappoints. The resort is top notch. Rooms are incredible, beds comfortable, and grounds are simply beautiful. The shopping across the street is great too. Highly recommend this place.

Went to White Oaks to get my hair done at Nine Zero Five Salon. It was the first time I had been and the doorman was friendly, pointing me in the right direction. Had a wonderful experience at the salon and will definitely go back!

Enjoyed our stay, electric car charging station was a plus. Really liked my massage on site and the close proximity to the outlets.

Venue was great for our work xmas party. Prime Rib was mediocre but everything else was great!

Great Personnel, always ready to help you and really diligent, great and clean amenities specially the butterflies hatch and bees. Neat and clean rooms, really spacious and an up to the expectations bathroom

My boyfriend and i recently went and got a couples massage at the spa. And to be honest my shoulders feel worse than before we went in. They hurt to move and ive better massages from less qualified people. There was no choice of oils it was all done with a standard oil that had no fragrance to it. Overall i think i could find a better spa for the price.

Great room with two comfy Queen sized beds. Got a nice deal for the night which included dinner, breakfast, a wine tour, and $50 to the casino! Also got upgraded to a falls view without asking and it looks amazing!

Loved the hotel, right across the outlet mall, 10min from Niagara ans 10min From the vineyards offers the perfect location for a quiet getaway vacation.

Wow, I have no other words to describe such a pleasant stay. The service was outstanding!! Everything went just perfect!!
