I have played half of the courses on the Audubon golf trail, and this is my least favorite by far. For a 60$ course, they dont seem to have the amenities that they should. The course itself wasnt in horrible condition, but it was not consistent with the other courses on the Audubon trail. Two of the greens had large areas filled with sand. For the most part, however, the fairways were in good shape and the greens were well kept. I think was put me off the most about this course was how unprofessional the pro-shop was. This is a tourist attraction, a part of the Louisiana State golf trail, and the employees in the pro shop did not make me want to ever come back. There was one guy who was particularly grumpy, and spewed profanities unnecessarily. He was rude and very unwelcoming. The lady in the shop with him was cussing about how there were five guys in a grouping and she was not happy with that so she got in a cart to chase them down and change it. Overall if you can keep to yourself and dont mind some grumpy good ol' boys then this is not a bad course, but if possible, I would drive an hour extra and play Atchafalaya or The Island.
